once you drive off the lot with your new car now is "used" 30% off the retail price not including the miles

same here, is a 2500 system no matter you think is more or not is a 2500 system always got that luck factor, but that luck is quickly run out closer to sp35 *new*

So what you are saying with your apples to oranges comparison is that my price is too low?  Huh

$5,095+$300 = $5,395
- 1,618.5 30% "used car" discount (These were just delivered today)

Total $3,777

I am asking for 8 BTC or cash equivalent which is $3,392 at the moment.

what is it with these sp30 people, hurts to take a lost? just wait until the sp35 comes out your 8 btc more be like 3

ALSO, didn't the company give you a partial refund for not making the total 6th/s ?

You mean off the original price of $5,095.00 + $300 shipping?

8 x $430 = $3440.  The November SP35 is $3920 without shipping.

[WTS] 6 x new SP30's - Local pickup only (Seattle Area)
The miners are located on the east side in Kirkland.

4.5 TH @ ~3000 Watts

Asking 8 BTC or cash equivalent for each

These are brand new with boxes, so shipping is possible but local pickup strongly preferred.

I'm interested. I'm about 2 hours south, PM me.

You have PM

For anyone that's wondering.  10 x liquid ultra and 1 x Corsair H60 will get these miners to 16 TH.

That's really impressive.  How did you get so many units that run at 2TH?  Everyone else seems to be getting miners that only do 1.2-1.6TH

Its not possible to have 2TH TerraMiners in stock because they don't exist.  ~1.6TH is the expected performance and Cointerra includes a paper with each unit to make this clear.

The first MR orders were for 1.5TH.  BFL ended up splitting the orders into 3 units to get close to the hash rate they promised and decided to only provide a Nexus for the first rig.

I do have a MR with a Nexus but the design is a joke.  You have to take the whole rig apart every time you want to turn the Nexus on.

[Sale Pending] - In hand BFL 470GH/S Mini Rig
by

Item is in hand and hashing away.  I just received it yesterday.  After running over night cgminer is reporting an average of 491GH/S.

The BFL standard issue painted cardboard front insert has been replaced with normal cardboard due to some cardboard damage that occurred during shipping. (Actually I'm pretty sure the expanding foam used for packing is what caved it in.)  Other than that the item has some minor scratches, but everything is fully functional.

Looking for 420 coins but I will consider any reasonable offer.

I will cover up to $300 in shipping expenses.
Package is 54 pounds 27x18x23 in.

Re: Should I return my computer?
by

If you bought your computer just to mine BTC with GPUs then I would say to return it. It will never pay for itself. Ever.
+1

Also switching to mining with 1 card is a terrible idea.  Your hash/watt ratio will only get worse.

Re: Question about the new ASICS machines
by
kjhsliuhefw
on 31/08/2012, 00:10:25 UTC
Right now I am mining with 2x7970 overclocked to 1190 core and under volted.

My system is not a dedicated miner so mhash per watt is not very good due to having silly things like hard drives, a quad core cpu and other non-mining components.

I am mining around 1410 mhash at ~600 watts.

If difficulty jumps by 10x I will be losing ~$30 a month due to power usage.

No one knows when asic will ship, but perhaps this will help you decide.

Re: Deepbit - Connection issues

I found out that both IP addresses do belong to DeepBit.  I resolved connection issues by modifying the host file in case anyone else is having this issue.

Deepbit - Connection issues
by
kjhsliuhefw
on 24/08/2012, 01:01:08 UTC
I would post this in the Deepbit thread, but since I am trapped in the sandbox...

Its seems quite a few people are currently having connection problems when it comes to DeepBit.

I spent a few min. looking into it and found that pit.deepbit.net is constantly switching between

91.213.175.240 and 46.4.121.122

Every time the redirect occurs it is causing connection issues for a few seconds.

Does anyone know if both of these IP addresses are legitimately related to Deepbit?

91.213.175.240 looks like it may be a ddos mitigation service.

Thanks
