A few minutes ago I have read in the bitcointalk forums about a new privacy coin.... Pandora Cash which I believe it is a serious competitor for Deep Onion. They can claim PandoraCash.com is 20x more private even than Monero... real competitor if it is true.

Electrum-ONION servers are being updated to Tor v3

Hey! Thanks for the piece of advice escapefrom3dom. Unfortunately I have tried rescanning the blockchain multiple times in the last years and, although it has worked a few times, I still have the same problem as uninstalling and installing again:
Rescanning is less time consuming but doesn't usually work, and I have verified myself that, when it doesn't work, it won't work until next reinstallation. Reinstalling, on the contrary, is more time consuming but works 100% of the times. Anyway, after a few stakes, the balance keeps getting wrong in both methods, so the problem remains.
As I said before, it is not a big problem, funds are safe and only the displayed balance is wrong.
- Create backup(s) of wallet.dat and store in other location/device
- Run 'dumpwallet "temp"' command
- Stop the node
- Move/Rename data dir.
- Start a fresh data dir (using quicksync) without a wallet.dat (copy tor dir from old data dir to keep hidden service address)
- Start node (wait for sync)
- Run 'importwallet "temp"' command

Happy to see electrum being tested, it works really fast and will make people use official wallets instead to hodl in exchanges.
I can't wait for release. I believe this release will include balance also shown in fiat. This release or the next will include new GUI style... looks sweet

Two Dog coins can be exchanged for one ONION coin. The price of ONION is so low, but the transaction volume is still very low. No one buys it at all. Why?
That is cute but is a silly comparison. DOGE is near the end of a week long artificial pump (see discord /wallstreetbets pump and dump group. I do not know if they are associated with /r/wallstreetbets). 1 DOGE will soon be back to 1 DOGE (< $0.01). DeepOnion development continues with a dedicated team and will increase in value naturally with no need for a "pump".

Hmm DO has several integrated Language Versions for the Website but no Pre-Build Wallets for Linux User?
Sorry but that makes me thinking...where is the right focus?
The translators and website developers are not involved in coding the wallet and/or making packages and vice-versa. Linux packages usually come later to avoid waste of time in case of any issues. Also, most Linux users prefer to build from the open source rather than run closed packages. If you are not experienced in building from source please see the link below for a script that does everything for you. Remember to backup wallet.dat and privkeys before starting. Also, read the instructions in post and in the script.Sorry but that makes me thinking...where is the right focus?
