Crypthover : Hover cash/hash tags to display more informations on twitter/tweetd
by

Hey there,

A friend and I worked on a small extension that I use daily on twitter (and tweetdeck). When you find a hashtag (or cashtag) on twitter, you can hover it with the extension and it will display a small box with few infos and links to CMC and Bitgur for more informations. Here is an example : https://i.imgur.com/c8VNxjg.png

You can find the extension here : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/crypthover/kkmbecnhcledkjgdfgfbnochegmipifm

The source code is right there too : https://github.com/tlenclos/crypthover

Feedbacks are welcome ! Enjoy Smiley

Crypthover : Extension twitter pour les hash/cash tags
by

on 26/05/2018, 17:24:44 UTC
Hello,

I have a weird thing, when mining PIRL I have 29mh/s but when I try to mine ETH Im getting 18mh/s. I tried ethermine and nanopool but nothing changed. Anyone got an idea ? I should get the same speed since its the same algorithm right ?
If you have an AMD GPU(s), most probably you have old drivers or haven't switched the driver in compute mode. PIRL has a low DAG epoch (less than 40), while ETH is at 175 already. The driver must be in compute mode in order to avoid losing hasrate with higher DAG epochs.

I have the blockchain drivers from august, I will try the latest ones with compute mode thanks.

author=PhoenixMiner

I have a problem with the connection to ethereum.miningpoolhub.com
at the address specified by us-east.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20535 the miner does not connect.
you have an entirely different address in the example us-east1.ethereum.miningpoolhub.com:20536. Where does this address come from?
at this address connects but the number of rejects exceeds 50%
how to make the miner work concretely with asia.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20535?
my sample
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool asia.ethereum.miningpoolhub.com:20535 -wal aneumoin.eth1 -pass x
-proto 1
-mi 12
-log 0

Also, make sure that all command-line options are on the same line - in your post appears that everything after -pass x is on the next line(s).

same "line" bro, like this :

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool asia.ethereum.miningpoolhub.com:20535 -wal aneumoin.eth1 -pass x -proto 1 -mi 12 -log 0

As the work on the hardware control options is taking longer than expected, here is a beta version with the other new features: PhoenixMiner 2.7a. It can be downloaded from here:
  https://mega.nz/#F!zUFTyIrC!OSlA4BMlUvFq4HDbkK-AIg

Here are the checksums to verify the download:
Code:
    File: PhoenixMiner_2.7a.zip
   SHA-1: fd967e62d05adec1c9d6126c347d711ac7028688
 SHA-256: 237d6f3f781d9a4a718559c956d2da0bf81e82c374e7ce6dca44e397bcd404ff
 SHA-512: 13584ac2a99073e3ea53ecc308ee19422bd26f85e585313740f9e275d0318a7cfa7151f0a63292d97c1736b8d072ea4b8d3743e97927f83979b6d93348b71d18

Note that this is not an official release and the hardware control and solo mining features are not included in it (they will be included in the final 2.7 release). The changes are:
  • Improvements in switching between normal mode and devfee mode to avoid some GPUs "losing" their overcloking/undervolting settings
  • Increase the frequency of getWork requests to lower the probability of stale shares
  • Added support for direct mining of Akroma, WhaleCoin, and Victorium without DevFee switching (use akroma, whale, or vic in the -coin parameter)
  • Show warning messages and more detailed error messages when the virtual memory is low, or GPU memory is not enough for DAG allocation
  • Other small improvements and changes

Trying it tonight, will report if any issue. See ya in 8+ hours.

Hi there,

Just made an account to let you all know that its working great for +21h now with PIRL with 2.4

https://imgur.com/Sfdk7Cf

Better hashrate than Claymore/Ethermine and no error so far. Thanks a lot for this miner!
