The blissful sound of silence....

Also, I just bought this book by Simon Dixon. http://www.amazon.com/Bank-Future-Protect-before-Governments/dp/1907720375

It's not exactly on being "unbanked" but I heard him on an interview a while ago and he was pretty good at breaking down some things about banking and seems investing teaching folks other ways to go about it.

Thanks Cass Le Chat, I will have a look at it!

I have been for about a year and a half now, there are some headaches and hassles at times but it is well worth it to me.

Do you receive you salary in cash/cheque or bitcoin then?

I can't even receive payments without a bank Sad

Couldn't your employers pay you by cheque?

Just started thinking that it must be a real hassle to stay debanked... I wonder if that girl from the video has really been debanked for 2 years  Huh

Yes, and it's totally possible. Ignore those guys. There is varying degrees of difficulty but there's a whole movement around being "unbanked" Go watch this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTU5M36_zXo

Thanks Cass LeChat for this video! That's amazing, looks like a lot of hassle though... Is that how you live as well?

Hey there, I wondered whether any of you are debanked here? Meaning, you ditched the bank and stopped using their services. Cheers

Hi, I'm a student in London and I'm currently doing research around financial inclusion: adults who don't have a bank account or don't use it very much, but also adults who on purpose chose not to be banked. I've put together a survey, I would be very grateful if some of you could help me with their insights. Here is the link to the survey: http://[Suspicious link removed]/forms/BmjmYijM31
Many thanks for your help and time!!
