I think the thing that makes that particular bitcoin is its security. The bitcoin market is expanding around the world. There are millions of transactions in the market but bitcoin still ensures the safety of investors. So bitcoin has created great confidence for investors. Moreover, bitcoin is the world's first electronic currency. It has the attention and support of many major economies in the world.
And aside from the security it gives I think the reason why bitcoin is special because it give us the potential of gaining more profit just by investing and trading of it.

It depends on how it is used. The politician doesn't like the concept of money that he cannot direct. Actually the transparency of the blockchain system and an environment in which data cannot be changed can ensure that public transactions are recorded accurately.
Well it really depends how the politicians will use it, actually politicians can use it to make more corruptions because its untraceable and it is very easy to trace and track the bitcoin address owners.
Altcoins have become the main aim for investments because their oriented on the future trensd are so good for investors who want to get money in the future.
Investing in different altcoins are good, if and only if that coins really have a great potentials and will not turn to scam. Also making investments now is good since the market is still recovering now.
because there are some people that want to collect bitcoin with cheaper price. as soon as they decide that they bought enough and fullfilled their wallets then a new bull run is going to start till they want to cash out.

Yez as of now bitcoin was in a rAre condition , but it doesnt mean that it will be banished or gone .. yearly it happens , when you say bitcoin it is not in stable value as always.
I think bitcoin is called rare because it is the only coin that is really popular and really have a huge value but with only a few maximum supply of coins, maybe this is the reason it was called rare.

I have been following Genesis since the start of the chain and have seen overall nothing but transparent practices and also long standing community members both support it and run it. As long as they can follow through making the push to business and create/implement the necessary development at scale moons is not too far after that.
I agree, also the team's attitude towards achieving the success is good for the project too. Moreover I would really appreciate if there will be more improvements will happen the soonest.
I think these news would have been all slaves, as they would have earned very well. Bitcoin is completely decentralized. Bitcoin in a decentralized manner is not interesting for governments and their friendly businessmen, but Blockchain technology. Becoming a mainstream is not an easy task, you need cooperation with the media, major investors, corporations, governments, the mafia. Bitcoin is a completely independent coin, which causes anger in many people.

You have a point, but holding the same value of bitcoin and ripple now example $500 worth of bitcoin and $500 worth of ripple this time will give you more profit with holding in xrp.

You are right,for me bitcoin is an investment. An assets thay have the ability to give us good profit if proper holding and investments have been made.
I will not agree if Bitcoin will be regulated because this will become centralized coun and can be controlled by government.This would affect the market price value on Bitcoin.
Well but there is a high chance that bitcoin can be regulated in some countries, actually it is happening right now and this may affect the use of bitcoin most specially the price of it.
Now, the market position is not good. So, I think hold is the best option. If any one sell their assest they would not get enough money from it. Other If they hold their assest until the market recovering and then sell their assest they must earn huge amount of money.

Indeed, the ETH is now falling. But not necessarily the value will always go down. proven at the end of 2017 for example. Now maybe many investors are experiencing losses, don't give up now if you want to make a profit. we certainly hope that by the end of 2018 this ETH will return to normal.
Yes what is happening rigt now is just temporary and all will be recover again and will return to its high price again very soon. There is a high chance that bitcoin and ethereum will surpass its current ath price soon.

I agree to you, we need both and this will not affect each other if ever we will use it both. But, do you think this two is different to each other or it's same? for me this both have same meaning.
Earlier, when the interest rates were way higher, kept money in the bank. Also bought some government bounds. Right now, it is only crypto, just find it much more fun, than any other investments.
