Major problems with windows 1803 update.
All of my rigs use 570 or 580
After update. I can't get any rig to have more than 6 gpus attached, 10 out of 12 I can only get 5 gpus working.
Takes a very long time to initialize claymore miner.
If I try to go past 5 or 6 gpus claymore timesout/reset after 5 min.
Everything was working fine before the 1803 update with latest claymore and amd latest drivers

There is nothing useful in logs/debug.

Take a look on your virtual memory. It seems like my settings were reset after the update. I have set default size of 24576MB and maximum 40960MB now. It´s using 28,6GB now with 6x gtx 1070 and 1x gtx 1060 6gb. My new setup looks like this when I removed afterburner.
It seems to be some difference in the 1803 version how it handles automatic line break in cmd. I reinstalled my machine after a while too.

Ok, afterburner.
Less than ideal to use that imho, any application can crash, what damage can happen if afterburner crashes? I'd rather not find that out the hard way.
Did you spot in 11.7, Nvidia temperature control is now supported?
added temperature management and overclock support for recent Nvidia cards in Windows: "-tt", "-powlim", "-cclock", "-mclock", "-tt", "-fanmax", "-fanmin" options are supported for Nvidia too.
I'd suggest using it. That way, if claymore crashes, (no more work is pushed to GPUs), and at least your GPUs revert to bios control, cool down etc.
Right now, if your afterburner crashes, and claymore carries on, you're going to potentially cook those cards, or force them to their hardware trip point, (probably something scary like 100C plus).

I didn´t see that. I can configure it without afterburner. The cards is set to be at maximum 60C now. But they live between 45-60C.
Afterburner have failed, the hashrate will be lower then and I have an alarm so I notice it but it would be nice to let the miner handle all insted. Thanks!

Interesting, why the timeout 15?
Note, the exe string needs to be single line, no c returns, or line breaks etc.
Also, 2 things you could try on the problem rig.
-mode 1
-dbg 1
I'd try stripping that to the minimum, (also make sure you set your virtual memory to at least 16GB!!!)

The timeout is just so msi afterburner will spin up the fans before the mining starts. I have the rig on wifi sometimes and it need some more seconds to reconnect to
It was in a single line, just automatic line break in notepad when i copied it. Same on both machines too. Virtual memory was 16gb but after a while it finally said that dag creation failed. I need 29 GB virtual memory to fill DAG on 6x gtx 1070 and 1x gtx 1060 card. I have put 32-40GB virtual memory now instead. The machine was reinstalled to with 10 pro instead of 10 pro n. Shouldn´t do anything i guess.
You are right, the server is wrong but eu1-nanopool.org actually works too
It seems that the problem was solved with virtual memory, i used 5x 1070 before and added two cards today.

Hi there.
Make sure you unblock EthDcrMiner64.exe
(right click, general tab, check unblock, /ok)
Turn defender ON, and set an exception for EthDcrMiner64.exe
It can be useful to relax security while debugging, but it's bad form to ignore it forthwith.
I'd suggest you take a look at your log file.
I'm assuming you mean, claymore 11.7 was working before you updated windows, and you changed NOTHING else, drivers etc, cmiiw.
That being so, look at a previous log, (from when it was working), that will show your full init, through to mining, and then compare with your current log.
At some point, your current log will halt, if you line old/new logs up, you will see what SHOULD be happening next, and that is where you need to investigate.

I run the same config on another computer with claymore 11.7 and windows 1803. It will start without any problems. The difference is windows 10 pro on the working and windows 10 pro n on the non working. I don´t have any older logs left from the new rig. The config file is copied from the working computer.

I'm having issues with my system to detect 5 & 6 GPU's.. I did the Gen 1 speed and enabled 4g and installed windows in UEFI any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I use this but the miner just kills itself after everything between 5-60 minutes. I have tried this too, it seems to be a little bit more stable but still closing:

I have uninstalled Malwarebytes antimalware, added exceptions to windows defender and set it inactive, made exceptions to Webroot security without results.
I have a GTX 970 black edition to start with. Computing mode, no difference when overclocked or standard clocked. My solution for the moment is to reboot the computer every 40 minutes and set it to autostart. Not very good but it will mine.
Any other ideas? I went from version 10.0 to 10.6 too without any better results.

The memory speed will not change in Afterburner, it stays pretty low on 3004MHz.
