When people registered BTT as a brand new, their first target is to be at least jr member. As the "activity" is the only measure to be a jr member they want to increase activity by any means.That's why they post such a post in the thread to increase the activity "Great project" "Nice project" "Happy to join this project" etc.But is there any value to such a post?

If there is only need of "activity" for rank upgrade, then such post will not stop.Also no need to take part in the disscussion of bitcoin forum.

But now according to the new restrictions and requirements https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.msg45810047#msg45810047 at least 1 merit is require to be a jr member.

Now people can understand the value of their post.Understand the meaning and necessity of a merit.People automatic stop garbage-posting.

The meaning of a merit is not just a merit point but it also mean..
1.The quality of one's post,
2. Their thinking and consciousness about Bitcoin forum.
3. Value of the people to the bitcoin forum.

So i think all of the newbie including me (fresh+devoted) now understand the reason behind this new restrictions and requirements https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.msg45810047#msg45810047.
So don't be frusted. Please try to make decent and constructive post and take part in bitcoin disscussion.
Because all "Source" of merit are very co-operative and helpful to us.

Although I was demoted from jr member to newbie, but now I understand why these new restrictions and requirements are important. Because when I was brand new, my first target was at least jr member.
