Google translate :>
SMSbitcoin delivers pt. not bitcoin for external wallets or public keys. All bitcoins purchased from us can only be stored with us until the customer chooses to sell them, after which they will be paid in Danish kroner, according to our purchase and trading terms.

Which means that you actually never delivers any coins. Smells like a scam, and you should be prepared to be reported to your PSP.

Second post - your company is registered as a startup company with limited liability  - which should only be used in the startup time. Your company is 3 years old, and your accounting shows your not making any money.
https://www.proff.dk/firma/noram-ivs/frederiksberg/it-drift-og-support/GVTZR7I0ZDG/

So, Basicly... Scam. Consider yourself reported to PSP.

So much for constructive criticism. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume you missed most of the context, through Google Translate. Thank you for taking the time to check out the website and respond.

1) We don't actually deliver any coins (yet) because our model and target group, is primarily people who does not have (or have ever used) a Bitcoin wallet. The "pt." in that message you quoted means present time. As in, it's coming as soon as we have build it.

2) IvS Is not a start-up, it's an "Entrepreneurial Company" with limited liability, which is a form of company that is like an ApS. The difference is that creating an ApS, you needd to have DKK 50.000 (around USD 8.000) to create the company, where as with an IvS, you can create it for DKK 1, and then set aside 25 % of the DKK 50.000 each year, after creating the company.

Again, thank you for the criticism. I would prefer if it was a little less dramatic and slightly more constructive, but hey.. it's the internet.

Ny Dansk Bitcoin side med NemID og MobilePay (Køb og salg + wallet)

Vi har netop lavet en ny Dansk hjemmeside, hvor Danskere kan købe og opbevare Bitcoin, let og sikkert.

www.smsbitcoin.dk

Derfor vil vi (inden vi for alvor går i luften) meget gerne have dit input på, hvad vi kan gøre bedre. Her er hvad du skal vide.

Strategi / Mission:

Here is my problem with the original post.

It's hard to read it with an open mind, when the OP keeps "name calling" (in lack of a better term). If you have good arguments, logic, reason and truth on your side, there is really no need to call someone a scammer, over and over and over and over again.

It's like hearing two people having an argument, where one is trying to be reasonable and present the information, so anyone listening can make an informed decision and the other keeps interrupting with silly name calling.

Calling someone a scammer 50 times, does not make them any more of a scammer, than if you just say it one time, and explain the reason as well as present the evidence.

If you want to make a compelling case, maybe try to calm down and approach this from a point of reason and evidence, rather than anger and frustration.

I have a fairly big amount of Dash and would LOVE to know, if it's really a bad investment. But this post did not give me any information. Or if it did, it was too clouded in childish name calling.

I also had a vision today. I sat on the sofa, closed my eyes and then envisioned that I shat myself. Then I woke up and thanked my lucky star that visions are not real, and only crazy people have them, and crazier people that don't realize they are crazy, post about them on public forums.

Also, fuck you for the click bait topic.

Ps. Lucky stars are totally real. #luckystarsarereal

Sorry, but I don't mix business with charitable activities. I usually spend 100 nights a year in hotels, paying for about half of it (companies I'm working with are paying the other half), and the most important thing is price. The hotel's price (service commission included) shall be as low as possible. I suppose you charge high commissions to give away one half, that's enough to make me want to look elsewhere.

I totally get your mindset, as it's the same as mine. But our concept is aimed exactly at that kind of consumer.

1) We have exactly the same prices as our competitors, as we use the same provider (Expedia). We are not allowed to charge lower (or higher) rates than what they give us. Those are also the same rates you will find on hotels.com. So it's literally the same hotels and the same prices. That is made possible, by not spending money on traditional advertisement, but instead giving that money to charity.

2) As for not mixing business and charity. It's not really charity, since it's not costing your business (aka yours customers, investors, stakeholders etc.) anything. But instead they get something extra, which is CRS value (Corporate Social Responsibility). You will get an impact report such as this that you can then include in your annual reports.

I hope all that, made some kind of sense Smiley

The developer menu is not there by default so you need to bring it on Linux or Windows using keys: CTRL + SHIFT + D

Thank you so much.

Great looking wallet..

I am running the x64 client on Windows 10 but I don't have this top menu... How do I enable it?

My wallet looks like this.. no menu

This pretty much removes all settings, since the only thing that is in the "settings" menu in the life side bar, is theme choices and an option to disable coins you don't use.

you can use this http://cryptofolio.info
They have a lot's of alt, but you will have to enter your balance on your own.
It's ok if you don't trade too much.

This is what I was looking for Smiley

To bad you can't add public keys, but it still beats my spreadsheet.

Thanks m8

A place to show various kinds of altcoin wallet balances in one cool place
by

in blockchain.info's online wallet, they have a pretty cool tool, where you can "import" your cold storage wallets or offline wallets, by adding their public key, and then that wallet displays their balance, and if you want to spend / move them, obviously, you have to add the private key.

Right now I have 5 different coins in 5 different offline/paper and locale as well as online wallets.

My question:
Is there a place where I can import public keys from various alt-coins and have their balance displayed in their currency as well as their current value in a fiat currency?

So I don't have to keep track of it in an excel sheet.

I just want to see how many coins I have, and what they are worth. Not an actual wallet.

Does anyone know if that is something that exists?

Hi and welcome in Poland, hope you will have a blast in here  Cheesy
Just in case nobody will be able to help you F2F.
There is an option to withdraw fiat from ATM using bitcoin.
As of today 6200 ATM's are supported. All Euronet ATM.
https://inpay.pl/atm/ unfortunately there is so English version of this site. [yet. I'm not the owner]
You simply add your phone, your address, amount of cash and inpay system will send you SMS, with codes for the Fiat from ATM. No credit card required, you dont have to signup with real name.
Fee is ~3% and maximum you can withdraw at once is around 0.5BTC
After BTC confirmed at inpay, you will recive SMS and then you have 24hours to use the codes at any* ATM

Thanks poptok1

But thee site /service only accepts a Polish phone number, which I don't have.

Want to sell 0.36 BTC for 2000 PLN cash in Warszawa, Polen

Hi.

I am on a weekend trip to Polan (from Denmark) and my Visa card got blocked for some reason, and I can't get in touch with my bank on weekends. I need some money to pay for the hotel, but there is not a single bitcoin to cash ATM in Warsaw.

I have some BTC on my Android wallet, and would like to trade for some cash with anyone that can come and do a face 2 face meeting.

I will give a good rate for the inconvenience. (125 PLN at the current rate.. if the rate changes, we can figure something out so you get compensated)

I am staying at the Intercontinental in Warsaw

This is me: LinkedIn

You can email me directly at koldtoftkim@gmail.com and I will send you my phone number so we can arrange a meeting.

You can also PM me here or PM me on LinkedIn

Ps. The deadline for this is before Sunday at 12.00 where I am checking out and will have had to figure something out Smiley

Thank.

Actually, booking an hotel with BTC is a great idea, but most travelers are looking for deals, so giving money to a charity isn't in the plan. You have to compete on price.

Yes. We know and we are certainly experiencing that. But all hotel booking websites, have more or less the same prices, as they all use the same 3 or 4 providers.

Who is your api provider?

We are building our own API, but we are using EANøs API (Expedia Affiliate Network) for providing hotels.

No.. We have the same prices as our competitors.  You can try and compare our prices with hotels.com and they will be exactly the same. So if you use Goodwings.com and have about 100 stays pr. year, you would be able to donate a pretty decent amount of money to charity. Or you can keep using our competitors, and let that money go to Google, which is where most of their advertising money goes. (and that is the money we send to charity).

how are you gonna handle cancelations? sounds pretty problematic to me

My plan (for now) is to handle any bitcoin transaction as a EUR transaction, exchanging the funds instantly. So you can't be guaranteed to be refunded in bitcoin, but may have to accept a refund in fiat currency in case of a refund. We have to pay the hotel provider right away, in Euro, so holding on to bitcoin, would be a bit of a risk for us, do to it's volatility.

Also about half of hotel bookings are made at non refundable hotels, so for those, this would not be a problem.

Expedia already accepts bitcoin right?

Airbnb I am sure is close behind..

I can't see that they do.. Maybe it's only for some hotels or something. I could find a terms and conditions page for bitcoin payment. But when booking a hotel, I don't see any bitcoin payment option.

Well, Bitcoin really isn't illegal.. It's a form of money and for most people who don't really give much of a crap to analyse it that way:
a way to process payments.. It should even be more beneficial to accept more ways, especially since you could easily do that and eliminate the middle man
and get more money in the process.

Good luck, I'm following your developments!

Thank you.

Yes. I know it's not illegal and so does my colleagues. My concern is not with the law, but with the perception of bitcoin. To go one step further. My real concern is with my colleges and our investors perception of peoples perception of bitcoin. I don't think there is any risk here. I don't believe that anyone will decide not to book their hotel, because they see Bitcoin as one of the payment options in the checkout flow.

But I love your argument of being able to donate more to charity, because of lover transaction costs. Much appreciated.

Do you have open API?

Do you have plane tickets? Are you planning to add it?

No we don't have an open API yet. We are currently running off a single provider right now, but once we add more providers, we plan on building an API.

We also don't have plane tickets yet, but plan on adding that. (the problem is that there is no profits in plane tickets.. you have to add fee's and do up-sales and one of our core principles, is to make a clean, respectful and all around awesome booking experience.

A hotel booking site that accepts bitcoin
by
koldtoft
on 22/02/2017, 15:57:55 UTC
Hi, my name is Kim Koldtoft, and I work as CTO for a Danish start-up.

We have built a hotel booking website (and later we will add plane tickets and car rentals).
We are backed by strong investors and have great ambitions.  We have all the same hotels as our competitors, at the same prices.

Business model
Our business model is, that we don't spend money on traditional advertisement and marketing, but instead we donate half of our commission to charity, every time a hotel booking is placed. We then use our NGO partnerships to help spread awareness of our movement. Our NGO partners are motivated to help spread awareness, by telling their millions of followers about us, as they will be receiving the donations when they book their hotels.

Our hotel booking website
https://www.goodwings.com/en-us

A quick introduction video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBL1KWtmOkY

How Bitcoin fits in
I am a big advocate for bitcoin, and have been using bitcoin myself, for a little over 3 years. I would love to make Goodwings the first "main-stream" hotel booking engine, that accepts bitcoin. I have done some research, and been unable to find any large scale hotel booking website that accepts crypto currency. Expedia has a Bitcoin Terms & Conditions page, but then when placing a booking, I can't pay with bitcoin.

We are preparing to add various payment methods such as PayPal, Apple Wallet, Android Pay, Google wallet etc. I would love to add Bitcoin to that list, but as I am sure you can imagine, I expect my colleagues to have the typical (and very annoying) "Is bitcoin not illegal and used for drugs and guns?"

I can explain to my colleagues how that it's not true, but they only have to point out that I can't explain it to all our our potential customers, and thus we should not add bitcoin, as it may be perceived poorly.

However, if I could counter that, with a promise (however vague) of a new potential client-base, as there might be lots of good bitcoin people, that would love to help make a positive change in the world, at no extra cost.

If anyone has any input on how accepting bitcoin could help attract additional business, as well as any other input, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,

- Kim Koldtoft
