OT sort of, but just saw this on Amazon. USB hub and has a couple good reviews for miners. One said 5 to 7 miners on it. On sale for $25!

Is it mostly with people with multiple 8 boards or single boards as well? I am supposed to be receiving mine on Monday and not sure if I want to plug it in unless there is a fix like a firmware update. I have seen issues where my ASIC Eruptors didn't work on certain computers I tested but worked fine on my main one. Hoping this gets resolved without replacing hardware.

Ok guys... Im still alive.
Every single US board has been dropped off via UPS Overnight (there were 2-3 people who that didnt work for, and had to use 2nd day air instead). Almost everyone should have it on friday or monday at the latest. I will have some more pictures and stuff soon... But im taking a break to eat and take some asprin. That was alot of boxes.

USPS Express would not only be more expensive, but slower. Thursday is a mail holiday for all carriers, so all shipments are going to be delayed because of that. Even If I select saturday delivery with UPS, no packages would be delivered till Monday.
Using their flat rate boxes it would, but looking at both sites from MO to WI with a 1 pound package UPS 2nd Day is $25 and delivered Tuesday. USPS Express using non-flat rate paying at the place is $28 or online label printing is $20 and I would receive Monday. These are both shipping out Friday.

All US orders will be Tested and Shipped either by speadsheet order (When I get that from Barn finished) or alphabetical. I plan on testing @ shipping all on the same day, but If I do not all boards will be delivered monday baring that I get them to UPS by noon friday.

Im ok with testing every piece of equipment for a short period of time if people are ok knowing its not "brand new" so to speak.
I am fine with you testing mine before shipping since I am in the US. Could you give us a shipping order since you are just shipping US orders?

Honestly all I would like to see is a daily update from Barntech in regards to progress weather good or bad. I am sure he is working on it, but there are a lot of people who are waiting patiently.

Hmm, I ordered a BFL Jalapeno back on July 1st and they just shipped up to May 24th. I guess it will be a race on if I get it or the Drillbit first. Either way, it will be a big improvement from the 11 Eruptors I have.

Actually it should be faster. Instead of going from China to Australia and then to the US first, going from China right away to the US and then shipping from there is much quicker. Though I am wondering about the original express shipping costs we paid since it should be drastically cheaper doing it this way.Also I know bobsag has a lot going on...can someone alleviate my concerns about these not being shipped out immediately. Thanks for the steps. I am trying to get this working for PPC which is SHA256 based and I can't get stratum running. I keep gettig a "ERROR mining # Litecoind Error: Invalid mode" in my stratum log. Anything else that may have changed or even post your config.py file (without personal data of course)?

Barntech, Maybe you should make it that those who don't pay shipping by a certain date will ship after those who have paid. So say those who haven't paid by this coming Sunday, will lose their spot and those who have move to the front. I am not biased at all since I am fully paid

i have a bit of a strange question, sorry if it has already been asked before.
wanted to know if one of these boards can be run some other way other than a molex connector (e.g. some kind of laptop plugpack or something)
reason for me asking is that i have only 1 blade on order - i currently run my usb farm off raspberry pi's (i have a very power inefficient AMD pc so like to leave it off during the day), rather than having to use my pc i would like to run the blade of my Rasp Pi and somehow power it from a different source other than molex.
i guess it all depends on what kind of voltages and power i need to this board, im taking a rough guess with 8 chips (usb ones=500mah x 8 = 4amp). as an example if it only needed the 5v line i could use the following laptop psu which is 10A http://www.adafruit.com/products/658.
im happy to hack together a psu from a laptop or something to power this thing, just wanted to know if its possible.
