So, 2 weeks since I mined this PoS-h!t coin. I was from the miners who got stuck in the dozen forks and lost my coins. Forks, which were created by the incompetence of the "developer".
I wrote 2 times to the dev and waited patiently for an answer and a refund, ocminer can prove how many our coins were, if the dev wanted to help me and my friends, but he acts like a freaking 2 year old and hides behind his stupid nickname. Read that, Copy cat? Your IT competences SUCK.

Have this in mind, before jumping into the pump he's created to get your hard earned bitcoins. I wouldn't waste my time with this crap. If he dares to censor me, I'll point here a bot that will repost this massage dozens of times.

I wanna go solomine KDC but having tough time getting started - anyone wanna help me. puullllllllleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaassssssssssseeeeee

what you need to do to solo mine..


*download the wallet.

*run it once.
you run it once so that the wallet creates a root folder located on the roaming folder. usually found here
C:\Users\(your own computer username)\AppData\Roaming\Klondikecoin
Note that "appdata" is a hidden folder and you might not see it. you will need to have "show hidden folders" enabled.

*close it, move it.
after you run it once , close it. Then move the wallet and any additional files that were inside it, at the klondikecoin folder as located above.  

*create the .conf  file.
in order to solomine you will need to create a configuration file. you can easily do this by creating a .txt file and editing the .txt file and then saving it with .conf   . So again: inside the klondikecoin folder. right mouse click--->new--->text document. this will create a text document and will highlight it and it will be in "rename"mode. rename the .txt file as "klondikecoin" then double click it. it should be empty. if not, erase any text in there. then copy paste the .conf info posted by OP in the first page :

rpcpassword=somepassword
rpcport=56679
addnode=kdc.criptoe.com
addnode=88.208.205.38
addnode=88.208.205.216
addnode=88.208.206.55

You can change the user name and password as you want them to be.
then save the file by clicking file--->save . Once you saved it as a text click again file--->save as and type : "klondikecoin.conf" at the file name box then select "all files(*)" option from the save as types box. this will save the text file into a configuration file.

*open the wallet again

*let it synch.
meanwhile you can start the next step.

*create the batch file.
almost like the steps above. create a text document with this running commands inside :

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o localhost:56679 -u klondikecoinrpc -p somepassword


save this as "klon solomine.bat" file as we did before. you can name it as you wish as long as its saved as .bat file

*run it!
Once the wallet is fully synched, you can start mining by running this batch file by simply double clicking.

 
again remember few things:
every time you edit your .conf file , you must close and then reopen the wallet for it to take effect.
you can not run the cgminer .bat file if the ports are not matching
you will not finding any blocks unless the wallet is fully synched
and the most important one. your wallet needs to be running all the time while you solo mine. you can't solo mine with a closed wallet

maybe you (and a lot of people here) should have listened people which you had called "troll"...  there were many clues of their inactivity

Well then if it is needed, make KDC go POS. Allow a faster distribution which can end it in 5-10 days. Then we can move on with a multipool like BC since KDC would be no more minable.

I see no other way to raise this coin value and lets be honest here even if you guys concentrate on building new features and stuff, this coin show no improvement on the price and thats why people are not comming in because they dont see any potential for this coin to go up.

When you come here as a new member you dont want to read 500 pages to understand why the price is still so low.

If you make an announcement about KDC full distribution in 10 days not only this will bring a lot more miners but the price will also go up, then with the multipool it will only help the coin to stabilise at this higher price.

I see no other solution, visa fiat has been implanted and cngrats to that but if that wasnt enough then KDC need to do a total makeover of its concept.
