Newly established casinos might say they are doing no KYC to attract players but sooner or later (usually sooner than you think) they’ll be doing it as well. When they get a considerable number of players, the authorities will be asking questions to the owner of the casino and those questions will directly affect your accounts on the casino platform. There isn’t really much we can do about it unless some clever guy creates a real decentralized casino platform. We really need a platform where anyone can play without providing any docs. I am not talking about those pseudo-decentralized casinos.
There are some decentralized on-chain casinos existing already. The only one I have experience with is PvP Money which has been running since early 2024 I think.
It's a very small scale operation but a fully functional platform and a 100% decentralized so there's no KYC, no accounts, fully on-chain, non-custodial.
Randomness is provided by Chainlink VRF so the games are provably random.
The house liquidity is provided by players who stake their assets in exchange for a minor edge(0.6%) vs normal players. So the casino has no control over the house, they basically take 1% for a platform fee and that's it. The RTP of the games is 98.4% if my math is correct.
