Well looking at the rate at which technology advancement keeps increasing as days pass by, bitcoin will be easy to access in the future to come. By then a lot of people would have understood and adapted to the core aims behind the use and development of Bitcoin. Increase in technology will make it possible for people new to the crypto space to easily acquire some bitcoin for their transactions.

Re: Bitcoin has stabilized?
by

Bitcoin is at its early stage of stability. The crypto world is not for people with a closed mind, you need to have an open mind. The decentralized nature of the ecosystem of bitcoin makes it difficult for bitcoin to have a stable market price. People with a lot of bitcoin at the crypto exchange are those who determine the market price of bitcoin.

Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!!
by
korkor
on 03/10/2018, 06:25:38 UTC
Since I joined the cryptocurrency world and even this forum I have seen something that people always do that I think its not the right way. People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?
What is wrong with comparing Ethereum with Bitcoin?  I don't really see anything wrong with that. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and every crypto coin wants to be like bitcoin. Most of the blueprint of cryptocurrencies are modifications of that of Bitcoin.  In fact, it's a healthy thing for Ethereum by comparing it to Bitcoin.

Looking at how people treat and use bitcoin, I can describe their acts as treating bitcoin as a digital gold. This is not supposed to be so, bitcoin should be seen as a digital currency which allows easy and fast transactions of goods and services and also an alternative mode of payment.

It quite unfortunate for the investors who invested in bitcoin when its market price was $20k. People who invest in bitcoin now are people who have got to understand the market trends of bitcoin. Looking at the current price trends of bitcoin, these provide an investment opportunity for people who understand these trends to invest.

Please, I advise that you get the whitepaper of bitcoin and get some basic idea behind bitcoin and blockchain technology.

It is a good idea you want to share and help newbies in term of how to make some amount of profit in crypto investment but, cryptocurrency investment goes beyond what you shared. They need to understand how the crypto ecosystem operates first before they can understand the market trends. Cryptocurrency goes beyond buying and selling.

Re: how governments can regulate digital currencies?
by
korkor
on 29/09/2018, 04:12:02 UTC
In order to regulate digital currencies in relations to cryptocurrencies, the government must and should be the majority holders of all cryptocurrencies. With this, they can control the amount of a particular coin circulating. They can determine the market price of the coin at a particular time and period. IF the government can achieve this, they can regulate the crypto market and world.

Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin
by
korkor
on 26/09/2018, 23:51:25 UTC
What people need to understand is simple, bitcoin is a digital currency and can be used just like physical fiat. People who see bitcoin not being a currency are those who just look at the market price of bitcoin. They see the unstable nature of bitcoin price as an opportunity to invest or trade with bitcoin to make profits

cryptocurrency is not so difficult to understand. People are the source of their difficulty to understand cryptocurrency, they don't look for the right information about it. All you need to know is that cryptocurrency is a digital currency just like physical fiat. It is used for the transaction of goods and services.

I definitely agree with you. If the whole world could believe and adapt to the use of bitcoin and legalizing it, there will be a massive transformation in the world's financial system. The decentralized nature of bitcoin makes it possible for everyone to monitor the transactions made on the network. Bitcoin presents a better life in the future.

Well, cryptocurrency is the next method of payment within some few years to come. Some countries such as Japan have recognised how cryptocurrency is going to transform the financial system if adapted to their economic system.  Cryptocurrencies present an easy way to transact and send funds to anyone anywhere at any time with less charges.

Yo guys,
Are you aware that there is some banks that accept Bitcoin like Neteller or Skrill? I just discovered it so I was surprised. You can deposit your Bitcoin and use your Bank/Credit card to withdraw.
Now,it doesn't matter if Paypal adopt Bitcoin or not since it's primary competitors have already done so.*
What do you think?
It will be very resourceful if you can a reference link or a source to the actual information to this information here. It is a great news that some banks accept the deposit of bitcoin. It's high time for the financial systems in the world to embrace the use and adaptation to the use of bitcoin.

Re: Who controls the crypto market?

The crypto market is mostly controlled by people with a huge number of a particular cryptocurrency. They can either increase the market price or decrease the price. The crypto market basically runs on the principle of demand and supply. Increase in demand increases the market price and the increase in supply mostly decrease the market price.

Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year

on 25/09/2018, 23:17:13 UTC
I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh
I feel sad for you but I don't think you should regret your actions.  I will say that it was just a bad investment. I will advise that before you go into any kind of investment whether cryptocurrency or not, please first to know the previous and current trends of that investment. This will give you some kinda knowledge about the investment before you invest.

Bitcoin transactions are more efficient than that of bank transactions. In terms of the time needed to complete a transaction, bitcoin is very fast than that of the bank.  The person receives the funds instantly with no third party involvement. Bitcoin also provides cheaper transaction fees as compared with the bank.

Bitcoin is indeed the king of all cryptocurrencies. People just spread speculation just to put people off from getting into bitcoin.  Most people get into bitcoin with the aim of becoming rich within a short period of time. We need true believers in the crypto world, not people who are opportunistic.

Re: differences of crypto market and bitcoin volume
by
korkor
on 23/09/2018, 23:42:37 UTC
Today, crypto market volume is still strong at $ 14 billion, but the volume of bitcoin has dropped more than $ 5 billion to $ 4.2 billion, I think the market is taking a break or investors are choosing to focus on high-risk trading to get more profits.

What do you think of seeing different crypto markets and volume of bitcoin?
I believe the drop in the market volume of bitcoin is because a lot of bitcoin holders are hodling their coin. Some of these hodlers are into long term bitcoin investment. Looking at the current market price of bitcoin, some percentage of people who are into bitcoin investment change their  focusing to invest in other altcoin just to buy more bitcoin.
