Re: [XMR] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, now with GPU!

I explicitly benched my miner against Claymore 9.7, and i also explicitly said i couldn't beat it, by an order of magnitude. It can push my HD7850 1G to 450, i cannot go above 370 Cry but yes, i'm still second, other miners are still worse. But i found jce a lot more stable than Claymore 11.3 and faster on cards with 2G+ memory.

On RX550 and RX560 jce should be the best if configured properly, which include waiting for 5-10 minutes after each start to let it warm up.
On RX460 2G use multi-hash 416, 432, 448 or 464, worksize 8, alpha 4 or 8, beta 64. On 4G, use same and multi_hash 464.

Otherwise try the 0.31e, the most stable so far, it takes ages to compile its opencl but may mine a bit faster than 0.32 in some cases.

It's true. Clay 9.7 knows the secret but no longer works on new algorithms. So now JCE it's the number one miner for old GPU (HD6870 on Clay - 290Hs, JCE - 260Hs (effectiv 240).

On RX 460 4G new SRB1.6.6 after 5-10m give 463Hs on each GPU. JCE stuck on 420-440 depending on the card (like old srb 1.30)
I also had that the cards gave out only half of the maximum speed. Noticed once

After switching to a new algo, all the miners began to work badly on old HD6870. This one is the closest to Clay9.7  Cool
But with RX460, it works worse than the srb. I do not know why

what drivers you recomend for RX460/560?

Do not use the official pool. They are not competent. Can not stop the pool after fork. Zero the balance for ALL days. Fu***ng idiots.
An adequate pool with a normal admin is intense.hashvault.pro

Is this the best pool man, lot of the pools fucked up during falk and did not upgrade properly.
And from the comments some of them seems stealing coins?

Yeah, the BEST  Wink
https://www.hashvault.pro/
+ they have discord where You can ask for help from admin https://discordapp.com/invite/HW3bSA

the only + of the official is the ability to setup a not a high statdiff (1000). I have two processors left on it. But now I withdraw every 5 coins

FPGAs are coming to Cryptonight.

What then?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3459858.0

strange that they have already posted information about this FPGA . means that their development fee will bring more then the rig.

does anybody mine on intense.hashvault.pro  HuhHuh
Yes. The Best pool ever

And after the balance was stolen on the official pool ... only HV

On the HV is an adequate admin. And when there were problems with payments on the sumo pool (about 14,000 sumo was lost due to the bug in the new algorithm), the administrator did not reset the balance of users. In difference from these *****.

I think with the Atlantis release Dero will provide the world with a new Cryptonight protocol, might not even be called Cryptonight any more. Not some existing variant of Cryptonight for sure.  But the devs keep their cards close to their chest so I am just guessing like every one else of you on here....
If the algorithm is unique then this is very good. There will be no ASIC and no NH
It's like a good detective. Nothing is known in advance
