Re: Anonymous reloadable VISA cards with own IBAN

Anyone received this card yet? Is it the real deal? What's the cheapest way to exchange BTC to this card?

Maximum balance on the card per calendar year: 2500€
Does that mean sum of deposit/withdraw operations no more than 2500 EUR/year? Or it's maximum balance on the card?

Re: Pattaya

I live in Thailand for about 4 years now, I would not choose Pattaya as a place to live (I stay on a remote island most of  the time), but when I need to be in Bangkok for some reason - I always stay in Pattaya and travel to Bangkok from there. Bangkok is big, crowded, traffic jams, no air to breathe. Pattaya is a city for foreigners build on a sea side - I would not go swim in that water but anyway the air is fresh from the sea breeze, it's full with hotels and guesthouses for any budget, a lot of good and inexpensive restaurants ran by expats - you can eat pizza made by Italian chief, have some in house brewed beer in a German place and so on, including authentic Russian pelmeni. Usually I'm coming there with my girlfriend but nightlife is fun anyway, unique atmosphere of a never ending party.

Sure there are annoyances, mainly in Walking Street at night, but who cares? If you do not want ladyboys attention, children asking for money in imaginative ways, 'ping pong show' invitation popups before your face, loud noises and so on - just do not go to walking street from about 20:00 to 3:00.

Yes form dusk to dawn Pattaya is filled with prostitutes in lady bars of a different kinds. It's fine with me, some of those places are nice for an evening beer while watching woman live or sports channel on tv.

Yes there are a lot of ladyboys. Yes it's possible to get robbed or scammed, and sure tourist traps are set. Yet I consider Pattaya safe place for those who use common sense.

Alternative locations in SEA? In Thailand, Phuket on the south and Chang Mai on the north both have their own different charms, but it's one more flight from Thailand's main airport, while Pattaya is 2 hours by taxi or bus. In other countries - Hong Kong, a major financial center and still somewhat offshore zone (if anybody is interested - it should be another topic), it's a very interesting and alive city. But it will be i guess about 5 times more expensive than Pattaya for everybody, as living and office space is very expensive there. Singapore is boring, too much rules (like it's illegal to import and chew bubblegum, just as an example), warning sings like 'do not seat here as you may fall' and a likes are everywhere, it's a nanny state at the extreme - not a proper place for bitcoin event IMO. Macau could be a good choice - asian Las Vegas with nice old Portugese architecture, 2 hours by ferry from Hong Kong.

Interesting idea.

I got a friend in Moscow who run a hostel, if you need I will contact him - he will accept bitcoins, rates in his place are cheap by Moscow standards.

Also I can help you in Thailand, mainly in koh Phangan island. It's a nice island for partying, very unlike for example Pattya. I'm one of the team that makes koh Phangan booking website, phangan1.com , we can accept bitcoin for bungalow/hotel/villa bookings, and for any of the places listed on our website you will be able to put bitcoins on a hotel tab to pay for the restaurant.

Also maybe it's time to make subforum in marketplace dedicated to ponzi schemes and lotteries and enforce postings on those subjects only in this subforum?

I used it with amount about $200 - everything went smoothly, instant deposit and instant withdrawal. The only drawback I see is the low trading volume.

I'm currently trying to buy some coins on bitcoin7 for 12 USD each (higher than current TH price), as they offer instant deposit from LR. I guess withdrawals are also instant, so it is a chance for somebody to sell their coins higher than current market price.

I would buy some BTC now, but estimated time of deposit from LR showing on TH acc is 1-2 business days Sad And for BTC estimated time is 1 hour. So sellers can fund their accounts fast, but not buyers, sure price will dive.

А Tor для кого придумали? Достаточно прописать американские ExitNodes в конфиге. Smiley
Скорее всего плохая идея - пользователь с айпи екзит ноды тора это с 99% вероятностью мошенник, я думаю сразу заблокируют акк.

I have not yet used 4 pins to connect the card. There are enough pcie express pins for 3 cards.

Should i use 4 pins?

Plug cards to pci-e slots AND plug appropriate wires from your PSU to card's 4 pin connectors, those are for additional power directly from PSU to cards.

Than on a next day some gov agency will nicely ask developers to block transactions associated with wikileaks, SR and who knows what else, then on a next day blockchain will be forked and old bitcoin will be dead.

Re: Passwords

Ummm yeah...lastpass doesnt store your passwords on their site, they are stored locally on your computer. Yes lastpass was broken into however the only info they got was user names and passwords for the site. They did not get any other info as I said your passwords are not stored on the actual site, but locally in your computer.

They store passwords encrypted by your master passphrase on their servers. Thats why you can install lastpass on any computer, and, after entering your email and passphrase, get access to all your stored passwords. If it all works as they say - your local lastpass connects to lastpass servers, downloads your data in encrypted form, and decrypts it locally.

I agree they're good, I just cannot bring myself to trust an online provider with all of my security credentials and other personal information.  No matter what they say.

Dropbox told us all that no one could access our files because they were encrypted.

Then they came out and admitted they have keys and they have employees who CAN access them all.

What if that happened with LastPass?

Unfortunately I have to agree with you on that, as lastpass is closed source.  I'll have to try keepass..

Lastpass is good, but use really strong master passphrase!
