BTC price is almost at 10000$ and i think in a couple of years we will see that it will pass 15000$. Although between now and then we will see a big drop at sometime as a price correction inevitably.

Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency
by

At the time being they are not scared of it but they get concerned about it. Specifically because crypto currency gives to them no chance to charge any of their ridiculous fees and rates. In the years to come when cryptos, will expand even further, will pose a real threat in their profits and then the games will begin.

Having LTC undervalued like that is a bliss and a nightmare. It is perfect moment to invest in it but it is scary if there will be not a good pump in its value. But i am hopeful that after BTC fork all alt coins will be pumped and make a good profit.

Re: contribution to the society of bitcoin
by

Bitcoin and particularly blockchain technology has already helped many people, especially in third world countries where people didn't have access to funds that fast. Also, with ICOs many entrepreneurs have found the necessary amounts of funds to start and develop many great ideas that ultimately help the lives of people.

Re: Do Altcoins really have a future?
by

Of course alt coins have future. Specially some of them ETH, Monero, Waves, LiteCoin and others already show good sustainability. Also, in the distant future BTC at some point will stabilize its price and it certain that people will turn to alt coins.

Bitcoin is always a good way to invest your money, especially if you go for the long game. Also, other alt coins like ETH, Monero, Waves etc. have great value already and it will increase in the future but you can get in the trading game with them and make quick profits.

Students in universities should study about the bitcoin case in economics class. It is a great opportunity to see how the fiat currency works and compare it with crypto currency. Also, that way many more will learn about cryptos and word will spread even faster but most importantly correctly without bias.

Re: WILL CRYPTO REPLACE THE STOCK MARKET?
by
koumpesbtc
on 25/10/2017, 10:20:58 UTC
Never, ever going to happen something like that. It not possible because companies currently traded in the stock market cannot possibly be transferred into electronic exchanges and even if they could they wouldn't because they would loose enormous amounts of money and reputation.

As every investment signature campaigns have their risk too. You give effort to participate in this forum and they reward you with their alt coins. Sometimes these alt coins take off and have measurable value and sometimes they don't. Anyway, it is a nice way to get involved, search and learn about the crypto currency world.

Bitcoin price is at its highest these days. If you get BTC today it will be a little bit difficult to make extra profit from this transaction quickly. If you want to invest and think long term it is a great opportunity. Also, to store more safely your coins buy a ledger, it is worthy and be very very careful with your accounts private key.

Re: Ethereum Price-Will it jump up after the BTC Fork?
by
koumpesbtc
on 24/10/2017, 09:22:21 UTC
After a few days from the fork BTC holders will dump BTC and buy alt coins. So, all of them, including Ethereum, will sky rocket. It an economic cycle if you look at it with te right perspective.

By the look of it, you will be able to mine ETN after the 1st of November and you will be able to mine it from android (cool feature but not recommended so much) and with a rig (not specs on GPU or CPU abilities). ASICs are most likely to not be able to mine ETN with them. If i were you i would wait a week to get more information after the 1st of November.

Re: Fiat Money is a Bubble
by
koumpesbtc
on 24/10/2017, 09:04:04 UTC
Currencies in themselves are not the actual bubbles. When they are starting to be traded in exchanges then their value is subjected to the traders will. When coins go as collateral and then someone buys the ability to collect the collateral, then a certain amount of money costs more than it was before, for example study the home loans case in the US. These tactics, when used carelessly specially from banks, make a currency look like a bubble.

NEVER go all in ever in something, whatever that is. Use maximum 30%-40% of your savings. It is the first rule of economics. Your idea of investing in cryptos is correct and many encourage it but put only a certain amount in it. Diversity in your portfolio is absolutely necessary!

Re: Have you make money from ICO?
by
koumpesbtc
on 24/10/2017, 08:25:10 UTC
I have just started working with ICOs so i haven't made money yet. What i can tell you though is, that choosing an ICO to get involved with is very difficult. You have to search a lot, find those ideas that you like and then there is the tricky part to choose. That means studying their whitepapers, searching the people behind the ICOs etc. With all the hard work you are more likely to succeed.

Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because...

It depend on whether you want a long term investment or a short term. BTC is perfect for short term ones with the price fluctuation. Also, if you managed to buy early it is the wisest to keep your investment in place. Although, now it is a good time to invest in alt coins too, becase the prices are low enough to risk placing your money in them.
