This is a review of KPM Hosting

I have been with them for a 2+ months now

Pros:

1. Response to e-mails is quick

2. Miners run at high efficiency (can't comment on downtimes)

Cons

1. It's either there way or the highway

2. Installation deadline weren't followed a couple of times due  to facility upgrade

3. Less accommodating to requests

Could you please elaborate which installation deadlines were not followed ? And which requests were not accommodated ?

Do yourself a favor and shop around. There are several companies offering the same service for 150% les what you will be paying with this company and i have had no problem with their service so far.

Kindly share the companies which offer the services at 150% cheaper. We will also take space from them. You are seriously delusional. Just want to spam the thread.

Our Pricing is as below :-

Antminer L3+ - 60.19 USD
Antminer S9 - 102.89 USD
Antminer D3 -  88.89 USD
Antminer A3 - 95.89 USD
Antminer E3 - 60.19 USD
Antminer T9 - 107.78
Innosilicon A4+ - 56.69

There is a tax of 14.975% on the pricing.

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my experiences of hosting with KPM (kpmhosting.com), since they are quite active on here and I see some people considering them.

On the good side, they are fairly responsive to emails and questions/concerns with your miners.  They tend to communicate very well with their users and let you know of any upcoming work that they are planning.

Now for the not-so-good:  Man, my miners sure have been going up and down quite a bit.  Some of it is bad luck, they had a problem with their power lines and had to get the utility company to come out and repair.  While other times it's for their benefit, they are doing some maintenance to expand their capacity at the moment, but they are doing it at our expense...i.e. taking our miners offline while they upgrade their equipment/lines.   I am currently hosting with KPM and with Valuehash, and the miners I have on Valuehash have been up consistently for the past few months, while the miners I have with KPM have gone down at around 10-12 times during this same time.  Sometimes, after bringing the miners down, they do not come back up cleanly when they bring them back up, which can be up to 4 hours later.  I have to continuously check to see if my KPM miners are online to be sure they came back up and connected to the pool correctly.  They do not have a VPN solution so you have to email them, which in their defense they are fairly quick to resolve.

Now, all of this would not have been a problem normally.  After all, I assume/hope it's only a temporary thing.  However, what did rub me the wrong way is that even after all this downtime that they have been experiencing due to their datacenter upgrade (at our expense I remind you), they actually sent us out a notice saying that they are going to start billing us for taxes separately (i.e. increase our fees).  Angry

Thanks for all your comments.
True we are in the middle of the upgrade. So, there are downtimes. We do not provide VPN. This was clear from the first day.

The prices were reduced when we moved from Tax Inclusive to Tax Exclusive prices. We are providing hosting at 69.99 USD + Taxes per month, instead of 80 USD per month.

I don't understand why so many hosting locations don't allow overclocking. It isn't like it is unsafe and likely to start a fire. They actually would make more money allowing it because the electricity would increase. I don't want to give up 10-15% extra profit to not overclock an L3 or A3. Anyone know of any providers that allow overclocking and have space for ASIC in the next month or two? I am presently hosting myself but electricity is around .12 here so I need the electricity cost to be less in order for me to justify moving all the equipment.

We support. Contact us at cs@kpmhosting.com

what is the cost of hosting S9.

118 usd per month

I believe, the price is higher than average. I have seen it as low as $70 USD. and as high as $90
What are the forces to drive the price up by 30% than average?

Our price includes 15% tax, so our price is about 103 USD without tax.
We install the miners in one business day.

We are unable to comment on the pricing/service of other hosting providers. We have customers who are shifting to us from the cheap hosting companies.

So the $80 host fees mentioned in your original post are no longer valid?

$80 per kW is still valid. The price for an S9 is 118 USD as it is calculated as 1.47 kW
