Hi Pennywis3,

Thanks!

Your cards would love more space thanks to risers - and three more brothers in the house! Wink

Pennywis3, did you made the 4 GPU rig based on this mobo?

Raja_MBZ, why USB risers? Regular risers (poweres) won't do?

Any news regarding built-in auto-sell feature?
Without it, it really doesn't have much sense since choosing the currency to mine is based on current local order book.
bump...

In my opinion it IS the most wanted feature. Smiley

Currently I can see the following:

Quote
SwitchPool - SHA256    DEM    2.24 Gh/s    10.33 Th/s    568,584.34    less than a minute ago    1.00 | BTC

Why the SwitchPool is mining DEM not BTC when their profitability is equal?

Another question - is there any ETA for the auto-sell feature?
In my opinion it is not the most wanted thing regarding switchpool.

SMS alerts when your mining device/rig is down

There are some ways to receive mobile text alerts when there is something wrong with your mining gear.
I just want to share the way I did it and it works for me well.
It makes use of a website monitoring service (there are many of them out there).

1. Make a status page available on line.
I'm using cgminer on Linux, so I followed this guide: Remotely monitoring your CGMiner Mining Rig with Miner.php on Ubuntu

2. Get yourself a website monitoring service and configure it.
I'm using Super Monitoring, but you can choose any website monitoring service with content monitoring feature.
Set your service to monitor the URL of your status page (see above) and to search for the "Dead" phrase on the page.
You will be informed of any gpu/asic device failure, but also of your mining pool outage.
If you don't want to be alerted when a pool is down (because you're using failover), enter "DeadPOOL" instead.
It will make the "Dead" phrase trigger the alert only if it's displayed before "POOL" which is the title in the pool table.

That's it.

I'm using cgminer version 2.11.4.
If you're using a diffrerent version of cgminer or a different miner you'd probably need to enter a different phrase for the monitoring service to look for.

Edit: You will also be alerted when the entire rig is down (the status page is unavailable).

CaptainFuture,

I have a few questions to you.

1.
I can see that the scrypt switchpool is switching really frequently.
Is it really OK for the profitability? Is the pool powerful enough to find blocks between switches?

2.
If your switching algorithm is based on coinex.pw order book - shouldn't auto-sell be obligatory to make it really profitable?

3.
Are you planning to add user/worker statistics or any history to the user panel?

Sorry for asking multiple questions, but there is almost no information on coinex.pw website.

Can I use exactly the same algorithm for Litecoin calculations?

Now that burnin has officially stated that he'll allow his orders to be sold ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179769.msg3067240#msg3067240 ), I'm offering up my 7 BitBurner Modules order for sale. Order number #4XX

Anyone keeping their chips in SebastianJu's group buys that want to purchase my BitBurner order, PM me with an offer.

I'll post this elsewhere eventually, but keeping it within the SebastianJu's group buys will make it easier for everyone involved, so I'm posting here first.

Order number #4XX
(7) Complete BitBurner Module with attached heat-sink
(1) CAN-BUS Stacking cable
(1) Shipping via Standard
I'm also offering an order for sale.
 - order number #3xx
 - (6) Complete BitBurner Module with attached heat-sink
 - (1) CAN-BUS Stacking cable
 - no shipping paid yet (so you can have it calculated for your destination).

PM me if interested.

How should we ask for a refund? Do You plan to implement some form on website ?
I was going to ask exactly the same question, so +1.

Hello, I'm still asking this everywhere and I can't get an answer.
Can I purchase the PCB without chips? I'm ready to pay and I would like to order just the populated PCB without chips.

I opened a thread to complain to yifu to not delay the chip batches only because of production problems of batch 3 miners... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=264224
Im not sure if it will have any effect but not trying will have no effect for sure.
+1

Thank you.

I'd rather a clean stable stock distro with ssh, screen, and a quick init script to wake up my boards and launch my miner of choice.  Rock solid.
Same here.
