In order to curb that kind of abusive behavior and set a more civilized tone on Whaleshares where flagging is only done when absolutely necessary (to stop spam or plagiarism), flagging content will require 3x the MANA of a started upshare/reward. It additionally only gives 1/3 of the reward or damage that a normal reward would give.

ADJUSTED POWER DOWN ALGORITHM
In order to create a stable, long-term economy that encourages users to build their WHALESTAKE to back community support WhaleTokens, a dynamic power down algorithm that slowly evolves over time will be used. Based on the inflation rate reduction schedule, power downs will release more liquid WLS the longer the platform has been in operation. REWARDS PAID OUT IN VESTED WHALESTAKE
In an attempt to create long term value, all rewards are paid out in vested whalestake. The more WHALESTAKE you hold, the higher your max reward value is, and therefore the more influence you have on the platform. There is no secondary pegged asset on Whaleshares, all of your earned rewards are given in WHALESTAKE. To remove earnings from the platform you will have to Power Down a set amount of WHALESTAKE which converts it to liquid WLS.

I think it will be good to bust some of the bad propaganda that has been spewed over time

I'm glad that they are waiting to launch until they have "fancied" it up a bit, I am excited to see what the network looks like at the launch, closely following this project. I love researching so maybe I will make my smoke blog largely about news and studies. Excited either way, the blockhain makes me giddy.

I'm interested in seeing what smoke network does as far as marijuana research and advocacy.

That is truly a thing of beauty. I agree that I like to keep my crypto diversified....don't put all the eggs in one basket. 

I just read that the Illinois Senate (United States) just approved medical marijuana to help combat the opioid crisis our county has been facing. This is phenomenal news. I think marijuana will slowly but surely continue to become legal nation wide. State rights are super important to giving people what they need and desire.

All crypto has an element of risk to it, to me that is part of what I love. I make sure to never invest what I can not afford to lose.

The state I live in just announced recreational marijuana being put on the ballot....medical marijuana passed a few years ago

How do I find a reliable real time value of SMOKE as I am buying on the DEX and not through the ICO. I really need to get more crypto savy.

I never considered that  maybe that is the path I take instead.

I have been investing in SMOKE for awhile now, simply because someone sent me some randomly awhile back. After doing some research I decided I wanted a few thousand, I have surpassed that goal.  

I may have to strart partaking in the ganja again so my smoke network blog can be lit.
