With the experience with BC, I doubt any alt is more than one-time p&d with occasional jumps on the way down. There is no alt that has broken the pattern so far. Shit - I learned the hard way. Could have become rich selling a few alts at peaks, but have almost nothing now
EDIT: It might change when the next BTC bubble starts, but who knows...
To me it looks like BC is crouching and preparing to jump. The last week may well be like the 3 days before the run to 9k. BlackHalo release may be the trigger.
Well it's different now. There's another altcoin that has made significant gains so investors now have to choose. I definitely have my fingers crossed they will pick us.
I'm sorry, but Vericoin completely dominates Blackcoin.
You'll see.
wrong. BC is the best crypto coin. still much underpriced
VRC seems to be being operated by a skillful pump group atm. There's nothing there justifying the growth. BC has been growing organically and the really groundbreaking features are just being implemented - BlackHalo and POS v2. Investors are going to take their profits from VRC once the dump starts and put them into the real thing:)
We are still on low volume, we will go much higher when we are back at 1-8k BTC/dayly levels

"Another altcoin that has made significant gains" is probably near the peak of the bubble, whereas BC has just completed the long consolidation period.
I'm 100% BC and not worried about ninja coins at all. They can affect our price only for a short time and, with every new "anonymous" shitcoin, this influence becomes smaller. They are pure gambling, BC is an investment.
same here. I am not worried, but nonetheless annoyed. All this shit makes it way harder to explain to "outsiders" why BC is a good investment.
The best way, IMO, is to show the long-term growing support. This is something unique and attractive.

Any devs working on new wallet or everybody waiting for the price to hit 15k before releasing some new innovation. As a holder of BC I would sure like to know approximately when is the new stuff being released. Most devs do provide ETAs.
ETAs and it price influence some true story: DRK 25 may and open source code realease // DRK master node payments
Smart people please tell me why after so many positive news and Koinkite price continues to fall and fall. I'm just bc holder and would like to know the reason why the price falls
IMO we're undervalued now and at or close to the bottom of this trading cycle.

I'm 100% BC and also surprised that we fell so low. Watching the price fall from 44k to where we are now has given me some hard times. I've no explanation for this, all I can say is that we are VERY undervalued. Well - that's crypto. But we're probably rebounding at the moment. Hopefully, panic buying will start soon:) To cheer us all up, I can say that the BC bubble cycle looks almost identical to the BTC cycle (at least it has so far). Judging by that, it should be only up from here also, and I don't have to mention what should be coming later (ok, I'll mention it - the next peak should be more or less 4 times last peak). Someone care to make a comparison graph (BC vs BTC cycle)? I'm not very good at it.
IMO in no more than a month we should be about this price level. In 24 - 48h the Vericoin bubble will burst, then we start going up. Then, with good news about different implementations, further up. I've been 100% BC for about two months, just bought more on the way, would buy more now if I had more funds. When you look at the graphs, you will notice that shortly after the XC bubble burst, we rallied 60 % up.

I wouldn't be angry at Mintpal too much. When BC is valued more widely, shitcoins will not be a problem. People have a choice - they can buy any coin they want. If they are careless enough to buy the Nth clone - fine. We need to evolve in healthy competition.
that is not the problem.
the problem is the instant pump any new coin gets, and almost always BC is "on the receiving end". The drill is the same every single time: 1. The people with insider info start to dump BC before the new coin goes live 2. less smart people see the BC price drop seemingly w/o reason and panic sell 3. the guys who knew that the new coin will come dump the new coin, come back to BC and buy the then-cheap BC back. 4. the people who got burned on that and lost their BC won't ever buy BC again
I agree, but I believe it's impossible to eradicate in the world of crypto. Once we get the right momentum, it won't be a problem. Look at DRK - doesn't seem to suffer form the drill.
that is because of DRK constantly being bought and pumped by their own dev and/or community Don't forget that DRK is a monster scam with 2 out of 4.x million coins premined.
So far AUR has been the most epic P&D. We may have a challenger then

BTW: I think we're starting trending up again. Hopefully it will be two steps forward one step back now, not the opposite
