I knew this could happen, that's why I sold off enough coins to get my money back a few weeks ago. Still disappointed. Fuck you, for either taking security very lightly, or straight up scamming your investors!

The site looks really nice, good job devs. Let's hope the price rises a little for the launch, I want to do a loan as soon as possible.

I have been staking 10,000 coins since Oct 14th. The staking has been running almost every day. Maybe offline 3-4 days total. My rewards for this time: 190 crdnc, which amounts to $800 as I'm typing this. I am most definitely happy with these returns, seeing as this is just the beginning of this platform. When my staking rewards reach $2,500 my plan is to sell them to get my initial investment back. So excited for the launch, let's hope it will be as smooth as everything else about Credence has been.

Don't fear, your coins are probably safe. I had the same problem after I had to reset my PC. I followed a guide for another coin to restore my wallet, and it worked. I modified the guide for Credence. Follow this guide exactly:

"This means the blockchain file corrupted for your wallet. No need to stress your coins are still safe.
We just need to redownload all the blockchain files again and copy across your wallet.dat file.

1. Close the Wallet.

2. Find Your Wallet Folder

if you are on Windows you find your wallet files here
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\CredenceCoin

If you cannot see the AppData or Roaming folder you need to show hidden folders. Click View - And Click - File name extensions - and - Hidden Items

If you are on a mac the wallet files are located here:
Library > Application Support > CredenceCoin
library may be hidden > press ‘alt’, Finder Menu > GO TO > ‘library’

3. Copy your wallet.dat file to another folder

4. Rename the CredenceCoin folder to CredenceCoinOLD

5. Open the CredenceCoin Wallet Program

6. Close the CredenceCoin Wallet Program

A new CredenceCoin Folder just got created. Go in there and rename the wallet.dat file to walletOLD.dat

7. Copy your original wallet.dat file from your previous folder you backed up into this folder

8. Open the CredenceCoin Wallet Program

9. Wait a few hours for the blockchain to sync and download again. Your coins will show up again once the sync has finished.

Well, the devs were prepared for this shitstorm from the very beginning, nothing surprising. Here's a snippet from the very first post in this thread:
"And more importantly we will always be here to answer legitimate questions, we understand there is going to be plenty of negative comments and accusations, but that is fine, we will just ignore those and answer your legitimate questions as best we can, we want to pride ourselves on our communications."

If you believe in this project, get your coins while it's "only" 10x the ico price.

Second withdrawal only took 2 hours, that's a 50% improvement!

Nice FUD there, guy. Of course there will be some quick to realize profits. That's nothing unique to this coin, other lending coins or any conventional coin. The price will go up and down for a while, that's to be expected on this low volume. I don't think anyone is expecting to become a millionaire from CRDNC, hoping maybe.

The wordpress site and the manual transfer was a little startling at first, but the important thing is, it worked great. Everyone got their coins (some had to wait a few days), and could go ahead and stake immediately. Full control of your private keys should be the number one priority for any ICO, but is very rare in this space. That was what made me attracted to this project, in combination with the awesome communication from the devs.

All lending platforms are extremely risky to put money into, including Bitconnect. We are all aware of that!

Just got my withdrawal 20 min ago. The system works, although slowly. I bought 1500 hxt in the ico for $1425. Lent 500 hxt ($7010) first day of lending after the downtime. Got $182.50 interest first day and $167.50 the second day. That's $350 in two days! Another ~7-8 with these rates and I'll have my original investment back, and still 1000 hxt in my wallet. Let's hope they last another week.

I'm very pleased to see the platform coming along. I have to agree with the others in this thread about the color scheme though. Maybe you should hire a graphic designer? Anyway, that's just a detail which can easily be improved. Godspeed!

Make sure you unlock your wallet for staking. Then hover with your mouse over the bottom right corner, it should read "Staking" something something.

Wow, this ico is frustrating to participate in. I'm sure the devs will deliver eventually, but hearing soon, soon, soon, over and over again is worse than "come back in two weeks and everything will be ok". Hurry up slowly now (Swedish saying). I put 1 btc into this project which got me around 500,000 coins. I'm a hodler first and foremost so the plan is to keep all my coins for at least a year. Let's hope the price will recover after the inevitable dump when the coins are released.
