Yes that is true. But company can create huge revenues in the future and maybe token owner wont get anything.

Besides the last negative coments, i am just going to write about facts:
1) the last 3 years i spent 12 hours of my days doing crypto trade and reading whitepapers and new ico's details.
2) 95% of my reading are about ideas, concepts, theorys of the future but nothing about present reality. just about future reality.
3) 95% of my the market cap in cryptos is about expectation and speculation. even bitcoin does not have a current present aplication, maybe in future, but worths 8k nowadays.
4) 95% of the ICO's its hard to see real videos of developers, to check their old linked in, facebook, twitter, whatever accounts.
5) 95% of the ICO's have no more then 5 to 10 persons working on it. Most are just 2 or 3 guys waiting for milions to hire a team
6) 95% of the ICO's have a legislation and government problem.
Now, MY OPINION:
POWERLEDGER just presented a new standard for the crypto world, why?
1) instead of ideas and dreams they are already on field doing partnerships and with a high tech already being used.
2) its easy to see who they are. if you check australian web channels they go theirselfs to the shows and speak about the tech.
3) the team already has more then 50 persons working on it
4) Australian government support. Not about the 10 milions investment. More important was the AUSTRALIAN MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE being a speaker during the oficial Powerledger presentation.
4) if you ask me about the future: energy will be the biggest problem. so where to invest? in something with a strong team and concept to get a solution.
FINALLY, ATM each TKN costs the miserable 0.60$!!!!!!!!!
Most of you buy the super trendy coins for no less then 50$... 100$.... 300$...
Nobody can predict the future, not even god, but in all ICO's, new coins, whatever in crypto world that passed over my eyes in the last 3 years, this project was defenitly the one I most believe it will be successfull.

By keeping hold of POWR tokens you wont have to buy them on an exchange later if you decide to use the platform. As we on-board more participants there will be a requirement for more POWR tokens either in circulation throughout the eco-system or escrowed in a SmartBond.

POWR is a very good idea, but why to buy POWR-tokens? I cant see any reason why value of the POWR-tokens should grow in the future? Why not just wait if they can build platform and then buy them if needed?
Or am I missing something here?

300K each BTC might be in the year 2025. The value of POWR in 2025 might be under 5 Cents. It is just a Token. I am here also since the beginning and I can tell you one Thing. You are comparing Coins with Tokens, LTC is a coin with his own Technology, POWR and the most other PnD are just Tokens which every one can create. You need just 5 minutes, zero skills and you can create a Token. Than put it in a good real life scenario and you can make a nice pump. Just my opinion. I think that over 90% off all Token project will fail and people will losse much money.
It has nothing to do with the fact that I like BTC. I am also investing in other Alts, but only on good TECH not in Tokens.
Economic structure of crypto tokens
When we view crypto tokens akin to stock in a corporation for valuation purposes, we can begin to apply some of the economic characteristics of the latter to the former. For a crypto token holder, the value of the token comes from three primary sources, just like a regular stock:
Dividends
Buybacks
Price appreciation.
Lets discuss the price appreciation component first. This is present in many crypto tokens, and is driven by adoption (note that this is different from speculative price appreciation). In this case, the entire economic value of the ecosystem is modeled based on economic assumptions, and then divided among the token holders. Many application-specific crypto tokens belong to this category.
Take the example of decentralized storage startup Storj Labs. Its tokens dont pay any dividends, and there isnt a concept of buyback. However, if the protocol is widely adopted, the value of Storj tokens is expected to increase.
A simple valuation in this case would be to model the size of the market that Storj can represent and divide it by the total number of tokens in existence.
Some of the more recent projects have a cash-flow component (earned income) in addition to the adoption-based price appreciation. This is similar to corporations making a profit, and using that profit to grow the business via retained earnings. The excess profit is then distributed to shareholders in the form of stock buybacks (increase the percentage ownership of each share of the company) and dividends (provide a cash distribution to beneficial owners of each share).
