Der Ticker ist übrigens erst der Anfang: momentan gibt es eine Reihe von Ideen, die am Whiteboard durchgespielt werden. So 1/2 Features werden wir auf der Startseite wohl noch unterbringen in naher Zukunft. 

Das Kryptowiki wurde leider die letzten Wochen von einer Spam-Welle überrollt.

Musste dieser Tage insgesamt manuell 56 Artikel löschen und 39 Spam-Nutzer sperren.

Im Zuge dessen wurde nun CAPTCHA eingeführt.

Ich bitte das zu entschuldigen, da das Lösen doch seine Zeit braucht. Aber es blieb leider keine andere Wahl.

Das nur als Status-Update, bitte weiter fleißig mitmachen!

Das Wiki begegnete mir schon die letzten Jahre ab und zu, aber ist nur ein Wiki über Bitcoin, harhar! 

Ja, das mit Wikipedia ist eine laaange Geschichte. Ich konnte dein Video noch nicht anschauen, bin gerade geschäftlich unterwegs. Aber werde ich mir heute Abend mal geben, danke dafür!

Ich will hier auch gar kein Bashing machen, Wikipedia ist gut als Nachschlagewerk. Aber man versteht oft überhaupt nichts und ich bin ein klein bisschen auch Anglist, was die dort übersetzen ist oft haar-sträu-bend. Ein Beispiel: vergleicht einfach mal die Eintrage zu Ethereum auf DE und EN. Essentielle Informationen aus EN fehlen zudem. Ein super Beispiel. -.-

@burnin: Natürlich kannst du eine Seite machen, wo du Airdrops erklärst. Wäre gut und auch sinnvoll. Deinen Link auf der Startseite musste ich entfernen, das würde ich als Vandalismus werten. Bitte unterlassen, es gibt auch eine Blacklist. ;-)

Leider würde ich mit eigenen Einträgen auf Wikipedia nicht weit kommen, trage da nichts mehr dazu bei, habe meine Erfahrungen gemacht.
Lies mal hier https://kryptowiki.eu/index.php?title=Kryptowiki:%C3%9Cber_Kryptowiki was ich mit dem Projekt auch erreichen will: Wikipedia versteht oft kein Mensch. Und das Thema hier erst recht nicht. Das geht besser, einfacher und verständlicher, genau das soll eines der Hauptziele sein. Wikipedia kann gerne die Anlaufstelle bleiben was allgemeine Informationen zu Kryptowährungen betrifft, doch die deutschsprachige ist selbst hier nicht aktuell. Das ist zu langsam heute, das geht so auch nicht mehr weiter. ;-)

BTW: man braucht auch keine Email-Adresse um sich anzumelden. Einfach Alias wählen und ab dafür mit share your knowledge!

@chrisrok: hey, gar keine schlechte Anmerkung! Kritik ist immer willkommen. Hatte mir um die Wirkung dieser Zeilen gar keine allzu konkreten Gedanken gemacht, ehrlich gesagt. Und für das Subjektive gibt es in einem Wiki tatsächlich keinen wirklichen Platz, wenn ich da mal genauer darüber nachdenke. Aber hey, es ist der Anfang! Man kann das doch einfach nutzen und direkt eine Diskussion auf der Startseite anfangen, dafür sind Wikis ja auch da!  Cool!

Merge mining was The feature back in the days. This was the reason I was joining this pool in the first place. But in the meantime, I'm just glad that it's still online. And my miner, which isn't very powerful, is still accepted.

Firstly, thanks for this pool! I'm using it for years now, it's reliable and neat with its merge mining feature. Just would hope more would use it, 90-100 currently is really low.

Now about my proposal:

I think payout of 0.00500000 is just too high. Mining with 57GH/s for a month now, I got 0.0005. That's not the problem for me, but my first possible payout will be in 10 months. Possibly more, as the diff is rising and rising.

Please change the payout rules as follows:

The minimum withdrawal amount for each currency is 0.00100000 except for Namecoin and Devcoin which are 0.01000000 and 1.00000000 respectively.

I'm just curious: but why exactly do I have to transfer my BTC to another wallet?

I understand that this is a standard phrase for safety reasons in the FOSS world.

But shouldn't BTC and BCC co-exist nicely? So will this procedure do my BTC any harm or the sky will fall on my head or something?

I just want to be sure that the BTC wallet will be okay like in a "nothing did touch me" way and the other wallet will just use this extracted private key to get the BCC...

Due to the fact that I often felt lost in the last couple of years regarding topics and knowledge about crypto currencies in German language realms, I simply started a wiki this summer:

My initial hope is to build something up from the ground to be a supreme quality starting point to reach the potential 100 million German speaking people worldwide and help them get independent from overwhelming and difficult sources written in Asian and English.*

On the start page itself the intentions are explained already.

BTW: you'll also find a crypto ticker, cool for bookmarking the homepage!  

Of course, the ne plus ultra would be to provide the needed knowledge for start-ups building their apps and systems on top of the blockchain technology. But it'll be a long hard way until then...

Da ich mich schon seit einigen Jahren verloren fühlte, was deutschsprachiges Wissen zu Kryptowährungen betrifft, habe ich im Sommer einfach kurzerhand ein Wiki gestartet:

Meine Hoffnung ist, das über die Zeit zu einer superben Anlaufstelle in deutscher Sprache auszubauen, damit die potenziellen 100 Millionen Interessenten weltweit nicht mehr auf englisch- oder asiatischsprachige Angebote angewiesen sind.

Schon auf der Startseite wird eigentlich alles erklärt.

Das Nonplusultra wäre natürlich, wenn das Wissen hier für Startups zur Blockchain-Technologie beitragen würde. Doch bis dahin ist es noch ein sehr weiter Weg...
