Hmm. So if people can buy AMPs using Changelly, who is the counterparty doing the selling?
Changelly is a "taker" system, who is grabbing liquidity from "maker" exchanges like Bittrex, Poloniex and others.

If I remeber right the price at the second ICO was 30k sat. Now we are at 2k sat and the sad truth is that AMP is exactly where it belongs right now 
price is more i.e. 35 cents, not caring about risky speculation of bitcoin of only few people would have done and kept their bitcoins till now and it is still 2 months time

When history repeats itself we will see a small pump, a disappointing update and following dumps. You won't see ico prices (BTC ratio) ever again , price should go to 100 dollar even 5 dollar is very unlikely.

Good question. They should just mortgage their houses and buy tons of AMP which will 100x in their opinion, while their debt will 1.05x. Guess what? They wanted everyone else to believe them so they could sell at higher prices. That's not their opinion, just their desire for price support.

I put AMP with the mainstream product launch in the same category of Sia, DGB, Sys.
There's gonna be at least two major moonrides before the Feb 13. If I was you, I would hold onto those 5000 dearly.

Does anyone know what exactly would be the mainstream product?
The major update, due to be released on February 13, 2018, will shift WildSpark from an extension into a full web-app. It will provide an extensive enhancement to WildSparks core capabilities, with a multitude of new and powerful features:
- Threaded commenting system for each piece of content, with in-browser notifications facilitating an ongoing discussion
- Support for content from various platforms in addition to YouTube, including text, music, images, and GIFs
- Amplifying content, with the recipients getting AMPs, using any currency crypto, and fiat;
- Creating personal profiles, building a unique WildSpark identity
- Earning rewards for referring people to sign up and use WildSpark.
With the site becoming fully-featured, the extension still remains the closest touch point to the web allowing easy Amplification right after viewing the content you like, providing notifications on the extension bar, and giving access to other simple operations without having to visit WildSpark HQ.
It would be awesome to see Wildspark available on Firefox and Safari
The web-app should work on any web browser, desktop computer, or mobile device.
The extension will remain Chrome exclusive for the time being.

Most alts at their bottom level. When this BTC rally stabilizes (?), everybody's gonna jump onto AMP to grab at these prices.
There shall be a rebalance of the protfolio moving towards alts, but do not think "everybody's gonna jump onto AMP to grab at these prices" because not everybody believes a Google Chrome plugin is good product. But still some people may buy some AMPs.

It would be moronic to sell now. BTC is in charge of all alts now. Most alts are down all time low. Synereo is relaunching the website this month. And the ultimate update with an platform compatible mainstream product coming out in FEB.
I learnt my lesson that is not to buy anything in FOMO. I bought this AMP in July though it's a small amount day by day it is going down and down like my investment is 5 - 6 times down the price which I've bought. I won't sell these until I achieve breakeven atleast else I will hold this until it gets to zero. No point in selling now with loss.
If you sell today, you will definitely lose, so it's really better to be patient and expect the time when your investment will bring you at least the money you spent. But you can always hope for the best.The February 13th Update WildSpark Goes Mainstream

How does it compare to STEEM? How do content producers get paid? Whats the point of using or even having AMP exist and not just BTC or ETH (besides to raise money of course)

AMP seems that dont recover more the past ATH, now is very low price in terms of satoshi, i cant sell now otherwise i go in lost area. I thik this is the worst investment that i ve done until now.
What price did you get in at? Aren't most altcoins very far from their ATHs (in Bitcoin price) too? You will probably say the same to other coins if you also invested to them earlier. Second half of this year devastated most alts. Let's us hope for a good and fast recovery next year as Bitcoin needs correction.
2018 is going to be awesome.

Imho, AMP with a major update in less than 3 months is like an hedge against highly volatile BTC. You should definitely add it to your portfolio even as low as 15%.
