Re: Can Ampleforth be a better Bitcoin?

It just broke the top 50 cmc. You might not of heard of it but simply it aims to be a non inflation crypto with elastic supply. It targets a 2019 CPI so it's not really a stablecoin.

Ampleforth use case is very promising but comparing to what Bitcoin have achieved is night and day, ampleforth will still have to go through alot to have a place in crypto space like how ethereum did, the difference is big presently, anything can happen in future but don't expect Ethereum and Bitcoin to stay same way for ampleforth to be better

Don't forget the 3rd crypto in terms of marketcap and is growing is Tether. Defi needs a primate not based on the USD but still is 'stable'. If something solves a problem it can quickly find its market. I'm no noob to crypto bought.my first bitcoin in 2011. I know the power of Bitcoin but also its flaws as a payment currency. Ampleforth solves so much it would be weird if it wasn't a major crypto very soon..

Ampleforth is one the cryptocurrency that took me a long time to understand how that work but I once understood AMPL it was actually quite good to increase your BTC balance but IMO holding AMPL is a bad idea we should constantly keep trading it.

Personally I think it's the perfect long term hold but that's just me..

It can create something good but you can't just call something can be better bitcoin. Because bitcoin is not good, there are tons of better blockchains than bitcoin but bitcoin is the first, it has brand value and asset value.

Ampleforth is chain agnostic. It can run on anything with smart contracts and they plan to actually run on multiple ones later. So better is a bit general word. What Amplforth can be is better designed as a monetary concept. Forget technicals for a second..the best crypto for mass adoption needs to be stable to be used as a currency and not be correlated to fiat. It aims for a 2019 dollar cpi range. This is a gamechanger. Think of it like this. The cost of your home us 100k ampl and 10 years later it's still worth 100k ampl (all other factors constant) non inflationary money kills the corrupt money system bit is also stable enough to get real mainstream use. No one is gonna use bitcoin as a currency...it isn't gonna happen. For these reasons I think it can go dar beyond Bitcoin could into the mainstream.

Ampleforth discussion. A better Bitcoin..

I'm a long time investor. Will always be almost a maxi but the fact is Ampleworth has solved many of the issues of Bitcoin.

Non inflationary aiming for a 2019 US dollar. The supply is elastic and any added supply is given to holders. Complete gamechanger cause it can be stable enough to be currency but non inflationary to be a stored value.

Devs are bitcoin OGs. One created the first Android Bitcoin wallet with the CEO of Coinbase.

Watch between 4-9 minutes as one of the devs lays out an intelligent fact based argument why Ampl can be much bigger than Bitcoin.

Fantom has the fastest consesus in crypto I believe reaching complete finality in sub second. To put into context probbaly the closest rival is Hashgraph at 3-5 seconds but they are centralized.

Re: Some people have linked Jack Dorsey's secret project to Zenon Network.
by

I have never heard of Zenon network but it does sound plausible reading this but my real question is, even if it's true, won't Jack Dorsey be a bit pissed his secret is out and maybe even just switch the network? I mean, he's the type of guy who would do just that.

Also, isn't he all about Bitcoin? Maybe he's building on top of btc?

Thanks for sharing though. I still think it's wrong:P

There is a simple common sense point in what I wrote. The fact SQ tweeted first the same day after Zenon had an account dormant for 1 year is already an extraordinary long shot. Then you add SQ make multi cryptic clues that point directly at Zenon then sorry if you struggle with the whys then you miss the point. These two accounts ar 100% connected.

Then you add the fact Zenon is a scalable platform hoping to use Satellites and is an anon team that took no funding then only somone with faulty thinking would doubt the connection. Jack has clearly said he is building a protocol to host Twitter in decentralized way. Well guess what a blockchain if you want to be decentralized HAS to have a token to incentivize nodes. So how else could he do it but a small project like Zenon? I expect he wants to keep it as somehow seperate to him so he doesn't run into legal issues.

A peer reviewed paper is coming in Q1. This is very rare in crypto.

It makes sense to read the entire AMA I linked above - everything looks really impressive. I have been in this space since 2013 but can't remember any projects like this when it's about seamless and perfect deliveries. The saying "looks good is right" is mostly true, but ... it is highly likely that it will become false in this case. I heard that the project team has a member who has a working experience at the Fed ... What is he responsible for and what did he do there? How does this experience help him in Quant?

The CEO has worked at the highest level in security and payments including top tier banks. Do I need to say why his connects will help in an Enterprise focused project? How do you think he has got his foot in the door in the EU and banks?

For such a low MC project very under the radar this will be explosive on the price once they reveal this offically. Expect at least 3x and then more when it moves to a bigger exchange soon..

I think Quant is a real under the radar project and will explode soon.
by
kubricktrader
on 01/10/2018, 17:33:53 UTC
https://www.quant.network

It does something no other project does. Its a layer over the blockchain that males direct connections to absolutely any chain ot connects with. There are other interoperable projects but they all habe middle men. Ie the do some kind of processing or they have the overhead of using another chain. Quant is direct connection and allows for multichain daaps to be built using any combination of chai s. So bascially it unites the entire blockchain space in the most efficient way possible.

But the reason its going to explode is they have told the community they have made genuine partnerships with major banks including Barclays to use the platform. Expect a good x5 as it comes off idex. 2-3 exchanges habe been planned for.

Re: Quant Overledger will bring all chains together.
by

The idea looks good. The vision of open block chain network is something to strive for. I am not an expert in these things, but making inter-chain smart contracts work could prove to be a real nightmare for developers. The way smart contracts work now is already too complicated and bug free coding is difficult. Good luck with the project. What I would like to see is more github activity.

Yeah Interoperbility is going to be essential. No point have a bunch of isolated data in different chains. So much of the use cases for blockchain beyond money just wont work well without it. Imagine a blockchain is used for say kyc but if you move country or company that uses a different chain u are back to square one of making information useful.

So many isolated chains makes no sense. Just like the internet which started as closed systems Interoperbility will be what open blockchain up.

Genuinely see? don't try to make up some statements that only you can understand. There are many claims that the coin they are holding is undervalued but if that's really undervalued, the community will notice it but not this way.

HERO members are handed out to cocks these days with very poor English skills. My legendary one was hacked but seriously what....the....fuck....are....you....talking....about?

THIS IS A SPECULATION THREAD AND IM WANTING TO TALK ABOUT A PROJECT I JUST FOUND AND INVESTED IN. AM I IN THE WRONG PLACE YOU TWAT?
Chill guys... we all hv our opinions and no harm in airing them...

Sad abt your legendary account...

But yeah it wud hv been good had you supplemented ur speculation with something more concrete.

I actually when mentioning projects I think are winners go easy on the shill and just expect people to find out about it themselves without too much of my interpretation and maybe share an opinion.

One thing I will say is I'm not the only one who is waking up to this one. That kind of vol on a small exchange like IDAX is significant.
