Re: At what point do you sell your altcoins?
by

on 10/12/2024, 10:43:40 UTC

I feel a 10x overall would be great personally but i do have a few altcoins I plan to hold longer in the hope they can 50x or more.

We have to be very careful when investing in altcoins because it is not easy to find good projects in the cryptocurrency industry nowadays. I have seen some tokens that did 100x in the last bull market, but those types of projects are rare now.

How did you identify such as deal ?

BNB will gain serious momentum in the 6th month of 2022, but it should publish cryptos with slightly more solid projects.

what are you expecting ?

Re: KUSAMA (KSM) will rise to $500?
by

What about the circulation of the coin on the exchanges? Auctions will go on for a long time and coins will be locked for 1 year.

Ok, but what percentage are we talking about? 5% of supply? 10% of supply? Its nothing compared to 99.5% dump that is possible if its the end of current bull market and everything will dump from 80-99%. Dont forget that ksm does not have Max Supply. How high is inflation currently? How many coins are being issued each block?

I dont think that at current bubble stage the fact that part of supply will be locked is enough to protect price from dumping with whole market.

I thought that there is  only 10,000,000 KSM , where did you figure out , that it does not have max supply  ?

Re: Basic Types of Trading
by
kvok1

Actually, there are some other types of trading as some members here given information, right?
But for me, I only focus on Spot trading. Why? because I am not really good at analyzing the chart or doing technical analysis. I have tried doing trading in the future market, but I really couldn't and I will not risk my money more in the future market.
That is why I choose Spot trading because it is less risky than future
You do not even have to be that "smart" to be trading on spot trading which is why I love it as well. I mean you need to be smart and be good at math and all that if you are doing chart reading and trading constantly, but if you are not doing that, if you are only caring about the situation like "I buy it now, then I will be able to wait as long as I have to whenever there is a good increase" then you do not need much.

I have been doing it for years and I really need nothing to do that, I just do nothing when it drops (maybe buy some more) and then sell it when I am in profit, which I do not even sell for most cases, just ones that I want to get out. This is why I believe it is really great for people who do not want to deal with all of the hard work other trading methods bring in.

nice comment , how often do you buy /sell do you have algo for it ?
When do you sell I mean after 5 % - 10 %  gain ?

hi,

what do you think about incomming polkadot  auctions :
https://polkadot.network/blog/polkadot-is-ready-for-parachains/

Shall I expect small pump ?

I heard that polkadot had a big community in china , so if the china will cancel the previous crypto ban : https://thedailysats.com/china-seeks-public-opinion-to-unban-bitcoin-and-crypto-mining-activities/

so it might jump to 50 hm   ?
Any ideas  ?
Cheers

Re: Best strategy to stay anonymous with crypto?
by
kvok1
on 16/06/2021, 21:42:36 UTC
The first and foremost step is to never buy cryptocurrency from centralized exchanges, that is where most of your privacy data gets leaked. Then we can use VPN or TOR to avoid our traces on internet but my suggestion is TOR since even most of the VPN tracks our data and sell them as well.

Buying crypto in-person or through a P2P exchange, would be your best bet to achieve full anonymity. Of course, there's no such thing as 100% anonymity. There's always the room for error. As a last resort, you can count on "Off-chain transactions" to achieve complete privacy in crypto land. With a physical bearer wallet like OpenDime or Tangem, it's easy to send crypto to another person without leaving any trace on the Blockchain. You'd just hand it in just like you would do with cash.

For on-chain transactions, you can either go through a non-custodial mixer or simply use the combination of TOR + VPN and Monero. Crypto empowers you to take control of your financial life without worrying about governments or other third parties. Privacy is achievable with crypto, but the same cannot be said about Fiat. As long as you follow the necessary precautions to preserve your anonymity, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my opinion Smiley

what are the Off-chain transactions ?

its hard to say when we dont know which country  is it , maybe just make trip to nearest crypto save country ,  swap for gold  sell it there , bring it sell it your country / or keep some amount of gold for later sell,

spent crypto for flight tickets  , vacation .... , buy  car ( not lambo but average car ) if  its possible in nearby countries

but before do the math if its worth to do it
