Users can now sign up for an account on https://smoke.io and start using all the features the network has to offer as well as claim your coins from the pre-sale and ICO. Accounts will be approved within 24 hours from signup.
To claim your coins onto the Smoke mainnet please read the instructions below

Yes at a basic glance seems very similar to a Steemit platform for cannabis users. Interesting idea but with cannabis being increasingly legalised however, it remains to be seen if one of the project's main aims of overcoming censorship issues continues to remain relevant in the future.
It is upon the community and the dev team (and of course a little luck is necessary too) if this gets accepted or not, imo. But it get your point. I can imagine a future where projects like this need to adapt a little, to make a constant impact in the cannabis world, even when cannabis is legalised everywhere in the western world.
Im actually pretty pissed cannabis isnt legalized in my state. The voters have passed it but the state government has not pushed it through. Its pretty sad. And i dont even smoke.
Oh man, I can relate to that. It is really not the way to be, that voters pass something, and the government is like "nah, we do not care about the opinions of our voters"
Maybe the SMOKE network can help unite even more people to put more pressure on governments.

I think that's what they call a fake democracy. Or hidden dictatorship. Give people the illusion of choice.

Pretty impressed with the airdrop page. There's a literally a reward for everything, tweet, watching a trailer and even a mention on Reddit.
So sad 😔 😔 the task to is decreasing as soon as smoke team got aware of how people were participating on. the airdrop, invite has reduced to 4 par invites.
Smoke is cheap in crowdsale though so anyone who holds shitcoins should consider instead moving some of their hodlings to things like Smoke. If there is a project without a working service, and you hodl tokens....smoke has never been a better deal.
The presale tokens already are trading for approx 15% above ICO price on bitshares dex so its unlikely to have many coins out there with such favorable risk/reward ratios (imo).
I personally think buying them is probably better than doing the bounties.
I was just going to mention that the tokens on dex are already trading higher than the ones on sale in the ICO
With 42M coins and ICO price of $0.086, that's less than $4M market cap. Insanely cheap, there are shitcoins with 10x that market cap. Not even in the top 500 on coinmarketcap. SMOKE can grow 100x from here.

I can't denied that cannabis is banned in many countries. I think the project will have a hard time to get i go global, due to the regulation on some countries that banning cannabis.
Regulation is moving in the direction of legalization though. And legal or not, cannabis is still very popular everywhere.

Like Ckybe I see a lot of potential for making SMOKE more than just a social network for cannabis reviews. Especially now with their own blockchain, which gives them a lot more creative freedom than if it had been just another ERC20 token.
I'm very bullish on SMOKE as long as the team handles it right and keeps the creativity flowing (with the right weed, that shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck with the ICO. I know I'm in. Been following you guys since last year. Solid team, great product. And I think developing your own blockchain instead of just making a token was the right choice.

I pay my taxes in SEK, but I trade using USD. How should I handle that in my account? The tax report differs enormously between choosing SEK or USD as my account currency.
Also, when will Average Cost be available for tax reports?
Bitcoin.tax is so much easier to use with SEK, and I ended up using it for the 2017 tax report. But Cointracking has so many more features that I WANT to use CT instead.. but all of these issues are preventing me from doing so.

AirBnB is short term, rentberry is long term. Totally different market.

So, my very basic understanding of the mining is that it's CPU based. What's to prevent someone with a botnet from mining a bunch of coins and taking up a large portion of the network?

Still nothing? November came and went already. "Definitely" is a very strong statement.. don't over promise, over deliver. Bad marketing practice to say that something is 100 % out by a certain time and then not follow through.

It is a well known fact that BOSCH is working with IOTA. The guy in the video is saying that they are going to produce a coffee machine which will be linked to other IOTA BOSCH smart devices and you will control all of them using an app on your smart phone or tablets. All of the devices will be connected to the IOTA tangle network. So for example as he says in the video, when he comes home from work or wakes up this coffee machine will make the coffee on the time set on the app. As all of the BOSCH smart home devices will be able to do. Crystal now?
I was just using the automatic subtitles on Youtube. All I read was them talking about how they don't want to use an iPad or Android device for IoT-security reasons, so instead they created their own tablet; the iOTA pad, that will be connected to all the smart devices, and you can remote control them from anywhere (like the coffee machine). No mention of IOTA, no mention of Tangle, no mention of transactions. Just regular IoT stuff.
If it's common knowledge, sorry. But since I got nothing of the sort from the video, and I always maintain a hefty dose of skepticism when it comes to crypto in general, I thought I'd put the question out there.

Is this really related to our IOTA though? I want to believe it, but there is no mention in the video of machine to machine transactions or crypto. To me it seems like the name (iOTA Pad, with a small i too) may just be a coincidence?

Devs should look at the NEM Nanowallet. They IMO have the best looking and most user friendly wallet in the history of crypto. So Neo devs, that is what I want as a user. Look into it if you haven't and be inspired.
