But it sux
Not because of its content or layout or anything like that. It sux because of the information it does not contain. Potcoins priorities are clearly layed out on the landing page of potcoin.com and the obvious number 1 priority is nowhere to be seen.
You don't need me to tell you that Potcoin is unlike any other crypto out there. A crypto with a built in demographic numbering in the hundreds of millions.
The vast majority of these people have no idea what a cryptocurrency is nor do they care at this moment in time.
For this reason the number 1 priority of potcoin should be securing those potential new users IMO.
The landing page of potcoin should have a video smack bang in the middle detailing how to get potcoins. A service where fiat can be exchanged directly for potcoin would be ideal but until that happens a detailed instructional vid or series is absolutely needed.
The flowchart of a potential new user is like this at the moment;
Hears about a currency specifically for pot > googles it > lands on potcoin.com > looks around and leaves...
It needs to be;
Hears about a currency specifically for pot > googles it > lands on potcoin.com > an easy to understand detailed video is watched...
In the first example the potential new user has to first have the time and inclination to wonder what exactly a cryptocurrency is and also be motivated to pursue it further.
The second example where the potential new user can easily see a video and hopefully get an understanding of cryptocurrency and potcoin is much better. They will be far more likely to pursue potcoin further even if just for the novelty of having potcoin.
Personally THE only reason I got into crypto's was to buy potcoin. When I buy bitcoins I don't care where they are accepted I just want to get my hands on potcoin. Luckily for me I have the knowledge and ability to make it happen. The vast majority of potential new users will NOT!
They land on potcoin.com and see "invest in cannabis" boom up go the red flags and they are out of there!!! 100% guaranteed.
People want potcoin and they are willing to thow their cash at you to get some as fast as possible even if they don't fully understand it or know how to use it.
For Gods sake make it easy for them. Words like "invest" are threatening to a lot of people and you are instantly driving them away.
The relationship between language and psychology is extremely complex. The word "invest" is attaching negatives negative connotations to Potcoin. The opposite of what your landing page should be doing!

I think these are the types of questions that make people question the devs. Very reasonable and logical questions. Simple things that can be done to further the position of the coin and get the word out there. If they managed to advertise in conjunction with getting the places that are advertising to start accepting coins if they sell items, it makes a lot of sense.
If not talking about the coin, at least getting the word out there that such a thing exist, and the seed industry could do for the coin what the sr did for btc. By adding a certain level of annoniminty to the coin use, i know i know it is traceable but still, you could garner a lot more interest. Mutually beneficial for the seed banks as well as the users. All parties involved win.

Media kits do not need to be physically handed out to people... they can be emailed to prospective users as well.
The ICMag idea is something I would have thought they would have been all over already. We're how far along now, and they still aren't targeting things like this? Just pay for the damn ad and you just got the word out even more. ICMag exposure means seedbay exposure and seedboutique exposure. In time, this could lead to coin acceptance. Grasscity and RollItUp are other forums that would probably sell ad space, but I'm pretty sure ICMag has the lion's share of the community.

I have been lurking ever since I heard of bitcoin and that was when it was at 60 cents. When it went over $1000 I really paid attention but I never got in on the action until 3days ago when I realized how Potcoin of all the cryptos was the most stable of them all.
I asked myself why is it so stable while the others are so volatile? It was obvious to me its because unlike Bitcoin, Potcoin comes with a built in userbase. The worldwide cannabis community. Potcoin has the potential to be actually used as a currency just like Bitcoin was intended to be.
I have no doubt in my mind that Potcoin will ecplipse Bitcoin and become the coin that brings digital currency mainstream. If Bitcoin can become a success w/ no userbase and its just the concept of digital currency that is driving it well imagine what a crypto currency w/ billions? of built in users can achieve.
I have no doubt in my mind that holders of potcoin will become extremely wealthy within a short period of time. This is the reason every cent I can muster is going into potcoin.
I was going to say "if" but I firmly believe its "when" ICMAG, seedbay & seedboutique get on board w/ Potcoin that will be the turning Point that changes everything.

Once seed companies get on board the rest of the industry will follow. Starting w/ dispensaries seem a little Irish to me but I do like how those fancy ATM's bring cyrpto's in general to the publics eye.
Pot growers in general are a pretty paranoid bunch and the seed market is huge. If the end users found out they could buy seeds from vendors next to anonymously w/ potcoin then the buying would go insane! ICMAG

Potcoin is the only coin with a userbase at the ready for it to be used as bitcoin was intended to be. It will blow allother cyrptos out of the water and eventually be bigger than bitcoin.
I'm all in on potcoin. I have no doubt all of us will be insanely ritch in the future.
