I would try day trading except I like not being stressed, doing things whenever I want, and not being on a bunch of drugs at once. But that is my personal preference and how I view day trading, it probably is much more banal than that.

They don't seem very adaptive to me, but that is what I have observed in my first year in this space. First of all not only do they actively shit on bitcoin and what it is, they are trying to say only the blockchain tech is good. That is preposterous and they are only saying that because it threatens the fundamental space in which they conduct their livelihoods. Mark my words bitcoin is going to change the world and not because some people will get rich off it but because the people who have no access to financial services finally will have access and it will all be because of bitcoin.

Year of the altcoins but primary year of the privacy and DAG coins. There seems to be a lot of hype around these coins and for good reason with governments trying to make their own cryptos atm. Long live privacy coins .

I somehow got myself involved in about 30-35 coins at peak and since then have been reducing my exposure and limiting my sizing moving forward. Main mistake I made was not having a uniform distribution and that has led to some bags being heavier meaning they mean more to me which they shouldn't.

The use of having different coins is that not every coin is going to function the same. You have improvements on financial, healthcare, gaming, payment, privacy, and the list could go on forever, Couple that with the fact that all coins can be made differently and from that stems healthy competition. I don't know why we can't have an exchange like that but to me it seems a complicated endeavor and perhaps this is why?

I am actually neither bearish or bullish on bitcoin right now currently in the new year. I think it will have its time in a bull run but I think it will consolidate for a little while before making another run up.

Because more people have confidence and know about Bitcoin than they do Ethereum and Ripple. Because of this people will buy Bitcoin first and then diversify. Also considering all or most alts are paired with BTC it naturally brings in demand.

Exactly it will go through phases where it pushes up and goes down but as time goes on it will increasingly go down. We won't see BTC dominance at 80-90% anymore and we will slowly head towards 10-30% range as time goes on.

It doesn't matter if they are giving you a rebate you must ask yourself why they are giving you a rebate. It isn't out the kindness of their heart it is because Coinbase and GDAX literally have the highest fees other than Bitcoin ATMs. That being known you should run like the wind and get to a better exchange that respects you and not looks at you like a piece of meat or paper or currency depending how you view it.
