Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio?
by
lamadu3
on 09/05/2019, 19:51:21 UTC
This is not important to discuss, but it's for general curiosity. I hold over 100 coins and tokens but most of them found in airdrops so they have near zero value. I only have 11 including BTC that I invested and really care about. I don't want to name all of them but as of today, nearly 66% percent (based on BTC price, not fiat) of my portfolio fills with Bitcoin.
Can you share your percentage of BTC holding? Kindly, only count coins that have value.
90% of what I have in my wallet is Bitcoin, 10% is Stellar (XLM). This year I didn’t have that time for buying altcoins and the only reason why I did buy Stellar was because of the airdrop, after I got their $25, I decided that I will buy more and add to it. I’m just focusing on Bitcoin alone and I’m okay with it.
I have been trading BTC/usd and I also have some that I kept for hodl. The XLM is my wallet is also for hodl, I’m just holding it for when the price goes up. But if the price of BTC goes up and XLM doesn’t, I will just sell it cause it will be of no use to me.

It is an interesting portfolio. I never heard about guys who have 90% BTC. As for me, 40% is Bitcoin, and the rest 60% is the altcoins, which attract me. These are TRON, ETH, Ontology, Cardano.

Last year I read about so many stores which accepts BTC and also hotels which accepts BTC and other forms of cryptocurrencies. I think Germany is one of those countries. The people use it to book rooms and also place orders for their clothing and jewelleries.

It would be cool to see an "average" Bitcoin owner who is going to buy something for his cryptocurrency. I have not seen anyone. I know that some online stores selling jewelry take BTC.

I think you mean your own experience,of a truth crypto have been of great help to me in terms of finance and experience, and I hope to get more as time goes on.

Cryptocurrency managed to widen my knowledge. I have started to learn more about the blockchain technologies, BTC and altcoins. I think that this is the best experience I had. And it brings money!

Re: Mistakes hodlers make
by

Quite hilarious, it is glaring we see all those crypto analysts and forecasters come out when the market situation is in a boom season but as soon as the bear returns, they all go in hiding. Everyone is an expert in a bull season but the reverse is the same during the bear. Personally as soon as I notice or suspect a reverse trend in the market, I sell or buy dependening on the direction

The biggest mistake that all holders and other guys that work with the cryptocurrencies make is listening to people, who make some strange forecasts. One says crypto will Moon, the other affirms it will fall. Think yourself.

Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world?
by

One thing that i have realized it would be off a high importance to the crypto community is we having some online marketing platforms such as Amazon and Ebay that would accept cryptocurrencies so that we can actually spend our cryptocurrencies in our daily lives.

We simply lack knowledge. Even those people that call themselves experts cannot use these technical analyses for making right predictions for the market. It is the most important thing we need.

Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC?
by
lamadu3
on 08/05/2019, 10:37:04 UTC
Based on https://coinmarketcap.com/. XRP defeated ETH again. Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC too in the future?
Not really, although XRP charges less fee than BTC, most people will still prefer BTC as it's the first ever coin that was created in cryptocurrency. No one can beat the pioneer of the cryptocurrency.

I am not sure that XRP will stay long in the top-5. It is not even the crypto, although it is digital money. Suppose, Ripple popularity will be going down. Bitcoin cannot be defeated.

Re: Bitcoin prophesy has shown up again. Which side would you belong?
by
lamadu3
on 08/05/2019, 10:33:26 UTC
These bitcoin predictions and prophesy has alraedy failed in the past so there is no need to believe in them. Bitcoin is unpredictable and those who are making a prediction or prophesy are simply riding on the present uptrend. Relying on these predictions will only lead to bigger losses in the future. Cryptocurrency investors must learn how to use fundamental analysis and get themeselves always updated on the market so they can find the right time to buy coins.

Probably some people can make the right predictions but they do not share them with other people. Why should they do that if they know something which can help them make billions fast?

You do have a great heart for caring for homeless people. I really admire you for your passion on what you are doing. I hope you'll be able to help a lot more. Good luck on your funding project.

Thank God, good and kind-hearted people always exist. I am sure, there are many of them live close to us. We can do something like that I think - and poor guys can improve their life a bit.

Bitcoin is limited to 21 Million, anything not limited to 21 Million  is not Bitcoin.

LOL. You are right. Now, I know how to explain the sense of Bitcoin to those guys who ask me about it. I wonder if the price of Bitcoin goes to the Sun when the last BTC is mined or fall to the bottom.

Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019
by
lamadu3
on 04/05/2019, 20:29:07 UTC
Making money in 2019 from cryptocurrency is very easy, there are two ways of making good money with cryptocurrency, either by trading or participating in good bounties.

Bounties do not bring the profit they used to give before. The rest stuff did not change. Trade, choosing the altcoins you trust. Hold the cryptocurrencies with the best potential. Get rid of shitcoins.

Re: the end of crypto?
by

Crypto is growing and not the end, we can see this development continuing. Indeed, if you have shitcoin that is useless it will disappear by itself, but crypto is still a lot and still has value if we are good at choosing it.

but i think this is the end of crypto, but only for a bad cryptocurrency project without active development
so, only a good crypto with great team and active development will survive my friend
maybe now is the best time to pick some great cryptocurrencies to our bag  Wink

We did not see a really good project for long. Hope, 2019 will give us some of them. We can invest in the most promising tokens that will become the market leaders with time. The crypto is not dying.

Re: will the price of coin be up soon?
by
lamadu3
on 04/05/2019, 20:01:20 UTC
Starting in 2019 is a good time to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum. And with this purchase, we invest for the long term. And it is proven that now the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum is getting higher. However, price increases are still very low compared to 2017. But I hope this will be the beginning of high crypto growth.
The situation is very close to 2017, everything is very similar to that period. And based on this price movement can be similar. But you need to understand that the period of time it may take much longer.

No, it differs a lot from 2017. nevertheless, we still have a chance of the bull run this year. It will be not so massive as the last one, and it will not pump all cryptocurrencies. Top-100 can grow, and BTC as well.

Re: Bounty Vs Trading
by
lamadu3
on 02/05/2019, 19:30:58 UTC
2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.

I understand your choice. I also do not see good Bounties (probably, I simply miss something when doing it). It is better not to invent the bicycle and to trade. This is a "classic" scheme to make money.

Re: Bull market is back?
by

now the price of bitcoin is very often falling even in 2 days bitcoin continues to decline, i'm not sure this can be said as a bull run, maybe even it would be very suitable if called the bear market.
this is just the beginning, the beginning of heading for an extraordinary surprise especially next year there is halving bitcoin. this is a serious sign of a bullish market.

April managed to give us the hope, which many traders and investors lost during the bloodbath. Suppose, the cryptocurrencies current stabilization is the beginning of the future bull run.

Re: Bitcoin volume is still rising ?
by

Well last year was something reversal and the price was were was, but this year i think the volume will rise and the price will grow and we can reach 10000$ until the end of year.

The volume is increasing, but slowly. The circulation supply of Bitcoin is over 16,6 million. Suppose, the price of this cryptocurrency will grow as well. However, I doubt it is able to reach 10K this year.

Great tips its very helpful for me and new trader are you sharing your experience and knowledge about trading, this will really be help newbies as like me.

I guess traders without experience use this Forum very often, that is why you can get wrong recommendations. It is better to read sites about trading and find cool YouTube channels on the crypto.

Do you think only crypto experts create their channels on YouTube? I guess it will be better to use different sources to learn more about the cryptocurrency, but you must come to conclusins yourself.

Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars?
by
lamadu3
on 01/05/2019, 17:39:22 UTC
I was very hopeful for 2019 but unfortunately it doesn’t seem so bright. We don’t know how will be the rest of this year, i hope Btc will keep growing.

Even though it doesn't look bright yet, I'm sure this year will be a good year for bitcoin compared to last year. A significant increase as an indicator towards the moon may continue and bring good luck to many people.
Last year was full of bear market where prices of most of the valuable coins were seen to decline. However, this year is showing quite the opposite although it is not yet confirmed a bull market. Most of the valuable coins like Bitcoin have shown great resistance with Bitcoin gradually increasing in price. Adding this to the series of good news entering the crypto space, it is very likely that 2019 may take us to moon.

I am not sure that the market is ready for these cosmic flights. Probably, more time must pass for it. However, even if we do not see bulls this year, we must not quit dealing with the crypto.

Yeah high risk, high reward but I read in a book that most profitable traders were only making 30-40% of winning trades with very good Risk/Reward ratios  Wink beware of liquidations anyway

The more money you invest, the more you can win (or lose). Here, you must be very cautious when making your choice. Better do not deal with unknown tokens that promise to pump soon.

Yes, they were also considered. April is over, and we see that it managed to bring positive changes to many cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. I think it was bullish this month, surely.

Re: Will Bitcoin Reach $100,000?
by
lamadu3
on 01/05/2019, 17:25:01 UTC
Yes , maybe after 50 years . I saw some article that stated last time that it's possible for Bitcoin to reach $100,000.But who know if it's really happen, every hodler would be happy.😁😁

Remember that people seriously thought that Bitcoin would reach this sum in 2018 (it was a prediction made in 2017). As we see, something opposite happened. Therefore, we cannot make these forecasts.
