Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
by

The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8a  from  here:

PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Windows.zip Github
PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Linux.tar.gz Github

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a

If DeaDTerra has the direct shares, then he can make a signed request to FC asking FC to transfer ownership of his (DeaDTerra's) shares to each of us (at our bitfunder public addresses).

So, why did DeaDTerra say to ask Ukyo?

DeaDTerra does not take any fees for this PT operation. I believe he "outsourced" that part of his job to Ukyo.

Will the amount of shares needed for a transfer out of the PT remain at min. 250?

This was no longer the case as of a month ago.

If you do not like my service and the PT I provide, then I advice you to switch Smiley
If anyone feels that they don't want to be part of this anymore then I am more then happy to provide you with a free transfer out of the PT, regardless of share number.
//DeaDTerra

If a high limit for transfers was to be reintroduced now, it would be a big step backwards by the new operator, so I trust he won't do this...? Smiley

I considered his offer a one-time-only deal. But I may have misread this.
It was meant to be a one time thing Smiley
As for how Ukyo decides to do it, I do now know.

Re: Bought 5 AM Shares from Diamondstarfall

Using escrow is not a simple "no brainer" solution. Bitcoin is decentralised currency, yet John processes significant ammount of deals on this forum and takes a fee for it (about 2% I guess). How it is much different from "centrall regulator we all trust" paradigm?

Lack of trust among peers can be a major problem in the future. I want to become a trusted member of bitcoin community, yet if everybody uses escrow I can not "earn" that trust.

A healthy alternative to using escrow (in my humble opinion) is to arrange deals in public and use digital signatures just like bitcoin transactions work. WoT on #bitcoin-otc are not getting the attention they deserve.

PS:
Previously I was PMed by Diamondstarfall with an offer to buy  5 shares. I asked him to make a public statement so I can buy one share. He made a new topic 4.2 BTC price, but by the time I woke up all shares were sold.

Bidding starts at: 0.1 BTC
Bidding stops: when reaching 1.00 BTC, or when I feel the highest bid is high enough.

I bid BTC0.1  Is it hight enough?

If 0.1 BTC is not high enough why start with 0.1 BTC.

This yubikey is only guaranteed to work with mtgox, right?
