Hi guys,

Im an monero guy, and today i tested this miner. Because with ramdomx monero mining will be not profitable, im testing ETH.  Cool

I got one rig with vega 64, i can reach 51+ Mh/S on ethereum with strap 5 with no problems. Smiley  In monero i consume 195x watts for 8 gpus. With eth the consume is 22xx watts. Smiley What an increase hehe

In other rig I got 8 mixed rx 580 with bios mod and one vega 56.  They handle 29-31,5 Mh/S. 29- 4gb elpida and 31,5 on 8gb samsung. When i use straps in this moded gpus i got no increase, sometimes an decrease. Maybe is normal, because they are biosmoded. ?

I got one vega 56 and got  43x Mh/S with strap 2-4. Smiley

Im using overdriventool xmr settings, and doned some test that show i can lower a lot my gpu core with no impact in hashing performance. Will test this when i merge to ETH.

Anyone had passed for this too?  Cool Roll Eyes Smiley

Thnks  Wink

try rxboost option, get you extra 1 MH

Need help for strap with different time clock

Need Help for strap
My rig has 3 GTX 1070 and 3 DTX 1060.

I am using 1@4600 for GTX 1070 to get an extra 7% of hash rate.

like

-strap 1@4600, 1@4600,1@4600,1,1,1

but sometime the 1070  would have an unknown error, causing the GPU out of line and miner would restart its own. Also one of 1060 is going to run at 4600 and causing 1060 has error and the miner keeping crash.

Someone has a solution for this. If the strap option can apply to PCI bus could solve this issue.

Thanks a lot

Larry

Tried, It doesn't work

you unistalled drivers, installed 376.33 drivers and then put -eres 0 -lidag 1 in your command line and used claymore miner v 10.3?
cause this is what worked for me, -eres 0 and -lidag1 alone did not work only when i used the older driver and claymore version worked.

you are right! down grade to 376.33 works

Hi Claymore,

I have 4 rigs with some 3GB GTX1060 running your software for Ether.

among them 2 still working on epoch #178, another 2 gave an error message: " CUDA error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG. Check readme.txt for possible solutions."

I know current DAG is 2.3GB.

Do you have any solution? Or 3GB is obsolete, Please give me an answer asap

Thanks

Larry

try the  solution 2 users above your post.

Anyone getting a dag error on 3gb nvidia 1060 cards? I even had -eres 0 or whatever (dont allocate any extra dag's in memory) in the command line to fix it last time. Card 0 is a 4gb Fury and card 1 is a 3gb 1060.

Cant seem to get it going right now after it restarted a half hour ago (maybe a DAG/epoch change?) Running zenCash right now.

Yes, 3Gb Nvidia cards are getting dag error now. Also eres -0 is not working too...
same problem.

-lidag 1
-eres 0

DDU + 376.33

p.s. claymore 10.3

I have 4 rigs with 3gb 1060.  2 works with only 1 3gb 1060 card.  other 2 with 2 more 1060-3GB don't work.  I think it is his software.  Hopefully he can fix it.
