[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Re: home computer mining recommendations?
by

Hi, I am experimenting mining with my desktop computer for a few weeks now and I was wondering what feedback/recommendations you guys might have about this. I am using two Nvidia GPUs GTX 750 Ti and GTX 1050 Ti plus the CPU i7-4790.

I started with ETN Electroneum which was giving about 40coins/day 6 weeks ago ($6/day not too bad at that time), but now it is down to about 15coins/day. I also tried BCN Bytecoin and got about 100coins/day, DERO 2coins/day and just started to look into VERT.

Not looking to make a fortune with this setup but I was wondering what coins would be the most profitable for such a low/medium end setup? Any new coins that are easy to mine at home and have good potential down the road?

Thanks!

Here is a good calculator for coins similar to ETN (algo=cryptonight) https://www.cryptunit.com/

Why Cryptonight on 1070ti's? There are double-tripple more $ on Equihash or NeoScrypt.

@sundownz
Have you overview on cpu and hashrate and wattage from each of your cpu's? And in which plattform they are.
Have 2 HP Proliant DL385 G7's everything is working perfect except I cannot for the life of my figure out have to get them to
connect to the network. Lan or Wan just trying to run an OS from a thumbdrive to mine with the CPU's no luck with anything
Ubuntu or any of the standard ones. Been through every bios setting, anyone have any idea why I can not get this thing on
the network, I am sure it is something simple and stupid, have years of experience with computer, linux and trouble shooting
but right now I am out of ideas. Any help is appreciated.

Are you plugged into the iLo port or an actual network port?  If you noticed there are FIVE Ethernet jacks on the back of the server.  iLo port is also Ethernet but it will not get you on the network.  It is access to the subsystem that runs before the server actually boots an OS which gives you full control for monitoring, remote deployment etc.  Looking from the back, you should be plugged into the furthest network jack to the right, labeled #1.

Also, that box is going to pull more wattage than produce hash.  Only 61xx series Opterons with no AES in that box.

Thank you for the reply, I already figured it out, I was trying to run HIVE OS to mine off a thumb drive assuming they were using ubuntu as a base os, apperently not or at least not the full version, HIVE OS apperently doesn't have a nic driver for the DL385 as soon as I loaded Ubuntu Desktop I pulled an ip. Also I am not to worried about the watts its pulls, I am mining cryptonight at 800+ h/s with the dual 6220 cpus and running 4 1070tis of a usb splitter powered by the free extra 750watt psu it came with for another 2.1 k/sols. Thing hardly pulls 700watts at the wall.

Sorry I guess I worded that poorly the CPU's are doing cryptonight and I just ment that I was also running 4 GPU's , they do happen to be doing equihash, ZEN at the moment. Also I was getting 760-800 with XMR Stak in Ubuntu 16.04 but sadly had to switch back to Window 10 to get the USB splitter to work and so far have only been able to get 650-700 out of the CPU's but haven't had much time to play with them yet.

Ah, the spec sheet only listed 6100 series for that box.  Hrm, I have one of those.  I might have to find some CPUs Smiley

I believe the 6200 series of processor were added in a bios update, mine has dual 6220's.

Neither, you can download Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft for free (Google Media Creation Tool)
Install and when it asks you if you have a product key just say no and activate later.
It still installs a fully functional version of Windows 10 it just has a watermark on the desktop reminding to active but never bugs you.
This is how I run my 4 mining rigs.
