I've just noticed this strange tweet:

It's now clear to me that fyrstikken was planning on "daytrading" the account holders funds; that's why he wanted to put them on all of those exchanges.

It's obvious that developers can't trust each other, based on the bug in the coin software. The coin developer was partly to blame.

But on a separate note, from the FYRSTIKKEN pdf:

CryptoRush will from now on have their customers cold-storage placed on Cryptsy,
JustCoin, Bitstamp, BTC-E, CampBX and other well known, well secured Bitcoinexchanges
as an extra layer of security, as we learned from MtGox - never have all the
eggs in one basket.

WTF?!!!! That's the funniest thing I have ever read!

Oh well, at least his 500k will go towards paying back the people who lost money.

It doesn't help if N is chosen to be a given multiple of the difficulty at the time a block is found. If the difficulty is about to increase, it is more profitable to mine a short while before. For example, if N is set equal to the difficulty D, a share submitted D shares before the increase will be paid the full expectation in the D-window, and then when difficulty increased it will once again go inside the window and have more expected reward.

I am new to learning bitcoin mining, but I don't get your statement above: If N is set equal to D, then on average the window will just cover the round, so on average there will be no overlap.
