I'm new to bitcoin and i know what bitcoin is very well. My question is how do you get your first bitcoin without having to mine,buy,beg,....etc? my friend got his first bitcoin without having to mine,buy....etc, i asked him how did he get his first bitcoin he said he got it from giveaways in some forums and after that he gambled and invested them and reached to bitcoin now he has 14 BTC. I want your suggestion on how to get the first 0.00001BTC without having to beg for it.
I earned my first bitcoin by joining some signature campaigns here in bitcointalk. Even though i spend too much time here in bitcontalk, it greatly benefits me. I learned so much about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. You only need to exert time and effort in working on bitcoin and it will be worth it. It will serve as your part time job that will help you earn your own money to sustain your daily needs. It will also help you to earn money for your future life.

Who owns the bitcoin after someone died? How to state this in the will? Please share your thoughts.
The bitcoin of the owner will remain in his/her wallet after he/sge died unless they tell their accounts and password to someone they know or to their family and relatives. It is better for the person to tell to his/her family to manage the bitcoin that will be left from them. In that way, he/she can still support his/her family through their financial needs even though they are already gone. Also, the family members will have the knowledge about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and earn or use it on their own.
After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?
For me, the best time to buy bitcoin is when it is experiencing a crash. If bitcoin crash, its price will decrease and thats your time to buy as much as you can. In that way, you can buy a huge amount of bitcoin because of its lower price. After that, keep and hold your bitcoin until the price of bitcoin increase again. Sell your bitcoin if you think that the profit you can gain is enough for you. The longer you hold your bitcoin, the larger the amount of profit you can gain.
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.
and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.
Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.
would you try this technique.
This technique is a very risky one. Selling a house is not that easy. Also, you have many things to do and manage before you can sell your house. Keep in mind that not all the time, investing in bitcoin can give you a huge amount of profit in a given time. Bitcoin can also experience crash that will make its price lower and you will lose some money that you invest. For me, its depends to a person if he/she will be risky in doing this technique.
I started bitcoin just a little while. But I heard about it last august. At first I was not convinced and I didn't think that I would be interested on such a business. But this month my friend brought out a brand new laptop and he confirmed that it was from his bitcoin income. So I was finally conviced and I made up my mind. My bitcoin experience started last August when a friend recommends me to learn about bitcoin. That time, i badly needed some money because i experienced financial problems. I need to have money to sustain my daily needs and to pay all of my bills. So i started to learn bitcoin and realized that it would be a great help for me especially to my financial needs. From now on until today, im still learning more things about bitcoin and starting to earn a small amout of it.

Re: short term investment or long term invesetment
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so). What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment
In my own opinion, i think long term investment is better than short term investment in terms of bitcoin. It is because bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies have the capability to increase or lower their price from time to time. As of today, bitcoin's price is continously rising thats why more people are starting to invest into it. Long term investment means you will invest your money for a long time until you can get a profit for about 1000% of money that you invest.
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.
It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.
But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot
In my own opinion, there are many different reasons why people tend to scam other people. One example is, they are in need of money. They cant get a job or they cant earn a decent amount of bitcoin thats why the only way for them to earn money fast is by fooling or scamming other people. Another reason is that, they are good in making fake websites and investments that scam people's money. It serves as their work and they are also the boss. Those people will not become successful in the future because they are earning money in a wrong and illegal way.

Well it depends to you my friend. I think if your job pays you more than what you earn in working on cryptocurrencies, you should grab that opportunity to work in overseas but if that salary of $1000 is smaller than what you earn in cryptocurrencies, it is better for you to stay at home and work on your computer earning different kinds of cryptocurrencies. Another thing to consider is what makes you happy. You should choose the one that will make you happy because even if your job is too hard, it will motivate you to finish your job.
Bitcoin has pass through many stage, limitations, attack and forks issue but its price keep on increasing from inception till now. At this time Last year bitcoin price was $450 but today it is $1245 that was over 180% increment in just a year. This is what we call blessing, that is making progress in the face of strong opposition!!
It is true that bitcoin experienced ups and downs but still managed to increase its price for about 1000% since its first developed. We know that all other cryptocurrencies have also capabilities to grow more and develop but bitcoin is the most famous and more profitable cryptocurrency thats why more people are using it and investing to it because they know that bitcoin's price will continue to increase and they can gain a huge amount of profit to it.
Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.
This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.
It is true that bitcoin can be used to some illegal activities that causes the criminality of a certain country to increase thats why some of the governments in some countries in the world already banned bitcoin in their place. Bitcoin can be used to buy illegal guns, drugs, hiring a hitman and many more illegal things in the internet. That is one of many disadvantages of bitcoin and the reason why some people are against it.
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.
It is true that governments in different countries can stop the spreading of the idea of bitcoin in their place. They have the power to ban bitcoin and make the usage of bitcoin punishable by law. The government has also the power to legalize bitcoin because it can help the economy of a certain country to grow more and develop. Also, if the idea of bitcoin is present in a certain country, there will be less poor people because of the capability of bitcoin to help people sustain their financial needs by earning their own money.

I think it is impossible to happen now since some of the countries in the world already banned bitcoin in their place. Maybe what will happen in the future is, more countries will accept or legalize the idea of bitcoin in their country. In that way, more people will have an idea about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Most of the people will have the capability to earn their own money and resolve their financial needs.
I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.
This is the analisis I made:
On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd
On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd
On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd
Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

Bitcoin has the capability to make people rich and happy with their lives. Those people who became rich or became successful in bitcoin are those people who work hard and spend too much time and effort in earning bitcoin. Also, those people who invest in bitcoin a long time ago and patient enough can easily become rich or even a billionaire right now because of the massive increase of bitcoin's price today.
Im conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and Im especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. I choose bitcoin because of its good features and capabilities that can help me earn my own money. Not all cryptocurrencies have some good features thats why they are not being used by people. Instead they use those cryptocurrencies that can benefit them a lot and help them with ther financial needs. Nowadays, bitcoin's price is continuously rising and more people are planning to invest in bitcoin because of its capability to grow its price up to 1000%.
I hear many saying they don't mess with altcoins...how do you make money with btc?
Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?
I'm not talking about long term holding but about how to build up your bitcoin without touching alts.

In order for you to have money in bitcoin, you need to earn bitcoin or you can buy bitcoin and invest it then gain the profit after a long time and thats how you generate money. But for me, im just earning bitcoin. Im joining and participating some campaigns here in bitcoin talk that helps me earn money and also sustain my daily needs. Earning bitcoin is really a great help for me because my financial needs are not a problem anymore.
In my own opinion, bitcoin cannot end world poverty since some of the countries in the world already banned bitcoin in their place. Also, not all people have an idea of what bitcoin is and not all people can have access to bitcoin because you need at least a device that you will use and an stable internet connection. The idea of bitcoin is very complicated because its so hard to understand. You need to spend more time and effort to it first before you fully understand its usage and how it works.
