Yes mining is fun but it comes with a lot of trouble, delivery delays, scams, custom fees...
For the sake of fun I already have a Bitmain S1 mining for peanuts...  but I'm not willing to have fun with the 5k$... I'm looking for a good way to invest the 5k$ and was thinking mining or buying but it seems like at this moment buying might be the best option?

I have 5,000$ I want to invest in crypto currencies.

I'm wondering what's the best move right now?
Should I buy bitcoins directly ? Should I buy a miner ? Should I buy an other crypto currency ?

Buying Bitcoins would save me a lot of trouble, I would have my money directly converted into bitcoins?
Buying a miner could be fun, especially because I have free electricity but you have to wait to be delivered, it might be a scam, difficulty might increase and you'll never get a chance to earn enough btc to break -even ?

I'm not sure what I will do... What would you suggest at this moment ?
