Hi!
I've been using Blockfolio and Delta for a while for monitoring my portfolio and they are both great apps! However, one feature that I miss from them is the possibility to monitor the current holdings of a specific address for a certain coin. I know that I can monitor an Ethereum public key and Bittrex API etc in Delta, but I'd like to be able to monitor all my public keys for all currencies by simply typing in the public key for each coin and then have the balance looked up automatically through a block explorer. I get that this wouldn't work for coins such as Monero for example though.
As of today, I usually type in my public key for each specific coin manually into a block explorer website.
Does anyone here know of such an app/website ?

Our biggest issue is transparency. Mintcointeam claims that he's got "Big stuff comming" and everyone is patiently waiting for something to happen. A lot of grand announcements, but nothing to show for it so far. If the dev would share some of the progress beeing made, it would comfort the community and encourage people to keep mining/buying instead of trading their MINT for other coins. I sold about one third of my investment a few weeks ago because there are lots of other, more interesting coins out there with actual development in progress.
I'm not saying nothing is beeing made behind the scenes with Mint, but unless we see some progress, the majority of this community will be gone by a few months. Mint is still a great coins with lots of potential. Let's not throw that away...

If Mintcoin added anonymity and a hidden message system, do you think this will help or is it just too gimmicky? I would really love to see more investors go in with Mintcoin and push the price upwards and onwards.
Can someone please explain to me how having a Mint address lets me identify someone? I'm serious, genuinely curious.
Having an adress does not expose you in any way, however, if you know that an adress belongs to a specific person, you can easily track every payment to and from that person via the blockchain. As someone has already stated; it's basically like leaving your checkbook open to the public - for anyone to read.
For regular purchases, like buying a cup of coffe or purchasing a funny hat for your dog, no one will give a shit. It comes down to how Mintcoin should be adopted and used. To the average Joe, Darkcoin probably sounds like scary shit, used for money laundering and buying drugs and weapons.
I'm not certain that I support Mint becoming anonymous. The big problem we've got now is that Mint has no value backing it up. Just take a look at Karma. I think IF Mint should "copy" any other coin, the PoC-model from Karmashares would be the way to go. It basically means setting up an LLC, where anyone can become a stakeholder in the company.
It would reduce the amount of coins in circulation and possibly bring up the value of the coin -depening of the success of the company and it's projects. This however, requires dedication and a lot of support from the community and the developers. I know there are lots of dedicated people out there who could make this happen. This may be the perfect opportunity for making use of the premine.

I guess you weren't watching for the last few weeks when we averaged 1-2 BTC on Mintpal and .5BTC on Cryptsy for 24 hours day after day.
That's still pretty low, though. We have a lot to go. We need more liquidity in order to create a market.
BTW, is there any project in the works for an auction site?
This is a good idea, I've been pushing for this sort of thing for a while now, maybe somebody who knows to put one up is silently preparing one.

Can somebody bring some clarity into this: In what way is Liberycoin anonymous in the way it's coded today? Does it have Zerocoin implementations, or is it removed?
I'm potentionally investing in a few coins, but the information I've found so far is really ambiguous.

Its really simple actually, I can save you a ton of reading:
LibertyCoin launched with the Zerocoin libraries in the code waiting further development. With the intention of implementing anonymous transactions once the code was mature. However the OP was worded in such a way many had thought it was implemented and working. After many pages of confusion and the OP being uncertain how to answer many of the questions due to having a temporarily un-reach-able Lead Dev created a FUD nightmare that we are just getting out of. Combine this with a pool having trouble and holding a bunch of coins it caused a massive dump from multipools who mined the coin knocking the price down.
If the OP was worded differently, and there was no early pool trouble I think this coin would be at 10k Sats and rising fast. Instead what we have is a severely undervalued coin gaining traction everyday in what I would consider to be a fantastic launch.
Moving forward, it has been discovered that Zerocoin code may not be finished in the future. And the community has rallied a large bounty to hire a developer to take over finishing some-type of anonymous transaction method for LibertyCoin. The bounty will continue to grow until developers sign on so it will happen.
We also have a Multipool in the works and are currently consistently the highest volume coin on Bittrex. Its only a matter of time before Poloneix adds XLB.

I just found AltOutlet, a market site selling products for alt coins... accepting 20 different coins, selling thousands of products. Part of all orders transactions are distributed to the charity of choice, selected on checkout. They do not take KARM (yet). Seems like they should... has anyone discussed this before? This actually brings up a point that came up on the subreddit long, long ago. What if we had a reverse/alternate logo? Something more graphic. Sort of like designing the 'back' side of the coin. A complementary branding. I remember the idea in the subreddit was two golden lions or something really noble and elite looking.
