I don't know that alts will ever really decouple with BTC. I just don't see it. Even if we get more fiat pairs.

Some friends of mine like to say that HODLing is a disease. That if you held all ur BTC all the way down from 20k to 6k ... thats a problem.

I dont think continuously doing airdrops is worth your time. I think its busy work and they don't allocate enough tokens per person. It may not even be worth the gas fees to trade it.

Emotions are one of the biggest factors with trading. You need to embrace them and play to your strengths.

Pretty much all of my bounties are underwater from ICO price. I don't expect it to turn around anytime soon unfortunately.

They're not gonna kill it. They have tons of users and it works pretty darn well. The UX could be improved though!

Only a couple small coins have pumped... My question is, now that we are in a completely new market from 2017, do you think we need BTC to be going sideways in order for an alt season.

Most of the newer gaming projects are built on Ethereum. Of course not everything will be stored on chain. But a lot will. Projects like Terra Virtua and Decentraland are intriguing.

The psychology & panic selling that newbies often show is the reason OGs in this space make so much money.

The only real points of centralization right now are via mining. Hopefully we can sort that out soon.

I think both bitcoin and alt coins are fine. There are a lot of altcoiners who now claim to be bitcoin maximalists just because its convenient and safer to store value right now...

Is there an official Bitcointalk ANN thread for Module? I don't see one but want to interact with the team on it if possible.

Re: [ANN] Quadrant Protocol - A blueprint for mapping decentralized data
This was a good project and ICO but happened in a bear market. Bad luck.
Hey, thanks for stopping by. Quadrant Protocol is still a good project irrespective of the bear market. If you have been following the Crypto scene, you will find out that, it's always a cycle of steep volatility. The ICO raised about 80% of the hard cap, that is a good one.
80% of hardtop in this market is actually excellent. Can you say for certain when coins are unlocked and when it will hit exchanges?

Re: [ANN][TOKEN] DAV - Decentralized Autonomous Vehicles. Presale Early 2018
Man i wont discuss semantics. Fact are the dates of the expected release date of the request of the delay of hitbtc mid june and the announcement on the 13 July, 5 working days later. And the pressure everyone was placing to avoid the relase of the token in this bear market because it would appear on dexes even if not on hitbtc. Then this regulatory issue appeared 5 working days later affecting only a few but that resulted on a delay to everyone Have to go to dinner. Priorities:). In any case hope we now get the token unlocked on the 23rd and hope no more regulatory issues happen.
Hi Xemesis,
The reason DAV had delayed the unlock of the tokens is due to their Swiss regulatory authority requesting additional information about the source of funds for certain contributors. If they did not provide such information, the Foundation wouldn't have been compliant.
The delay was crucial to ensure the compliance of the DAV Foundation.
Is there an update on how long this process will take? I am eager to get my hands on my DAV ... however in this market it probably wont do great.

Bitforex add is good and very excited to hear about the earn.com marketing push. Hopefully it will help build community.
Well considering the price has dropped with over 80% since the january ATH, there's so many good ICO's starting on this platform and the partnerships are coming in left and right, I'd say NEO is a very good investment currently
NEO has dropped more than just about any other crypto. There are a couple way to look at that, depends if you look at this as a long term project.

Hedera hash graphs is a really promising project and technology but it does have some pretty severe tradeoffs with standard blockchains. And their pre sale valuation is crazy.
