Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY
by
leps
on 07/04/2021, 03:01:29 UTC
Ok guys. I am trying to understand what is going on with this token swapping. I was airdropped 888888 Kicktokens way back but now I am trying to swap it on MEW or uniswap but it gives me an error. So I have spent $8 bucks to approve the token with metamask and now I can't sell it on the descentralized exchanges. I have read the comments above and looks like the froze the token but then why am I seeing selling activity and volume on uniswap here:

https://info.uniswap.org/token/0XC12D1C73EE7DC3615BA4E37E4ABFDBDDFA38907E

Can someone comment on this?

I have dumped some Waves this year and will continue to do so in order to invest in better project.
Definitly Ivanov is building stuff that are still available from other companies but ivanov's concept of all-in-all blockchain tools is clearly a massive failure.
My bet : nice tool but no real users so sell before you lose your money.

Next step now is to sell my vostock token before becoming worthless.

From an absolute Newbie, I take that as a 'buy signal' !  Cheesy

Don't judge a book by its cover, newbie do not mean stupid and  some legendary proven to be really, really idiot.
Fresh account do not mean newbie but your behavior tell us a lot about you : you are on track to become a legend soon.
face the truth : Waves is a nice tool but nobody wants to use it because ivanov's proposal is useless.
I will beep 2-3 k waves in case of : miracle can happen

Did you try Waves and other Blockchain Projects yourself? Waves is one of the most polished and production-ready products in the blockchain space. Why would it be useless? It has Waves NG, LPOS, DEX, and userfriendly token creation. Other blockchains don't have these.

U will just miss the train when Vostok launches and both tokens start pumping. But NP, lots of people are happy to take your cheap Waves Smiley

It all comes to people using the network to raise the demand for the token and value. We have the example of ethereum and now we also have the example of EOS which if I am not mistaken it's the network with more dapps created atm. I am expecting Tezos to do the same but Waves really needs to push devs to build on it.

Everyone is waiting for breakout in Waves in current bullish situation it is not showing good performance and sitting calm down. I hope soon it will get explode as there is more high chance to achieve good value in next few weeks some good news are in pipeline.

Don't expect much of a breakout until Bitcoin breaks the last all time high. We all know that People won't start buying massively until the fomo starts to kick in. In fact we can expect most of the altcoins to go lower on btc value as bitcoin runs higher in price.

Re: what do you make out of Binance hack
by

on 26/05/2019, 13:50:47 UTC
in my opinion these hacks are being orchestrated by powerful ententies to discourage the general public to invest in cryptocurrencies.

That maybe the other reason on why there are hacking incidents on cryptocurrencies  but what about on other business or on other payment methods ?

There were also hacking and scamming or any other cyber crimes that are present and the motive of the criminals on why they do it is because of the money .

still no matter how many hacking incidents occur in cryptos , people are still courageous to invest and to continue what they already started .

I am aware that cyber crime is as old as the internet. Hackers exploit vunerabilities and take advantage of ignorant and naive people especially in a new space like cryptocurrencies where so many don't know how to protect themselves from scams and phishing attemps but either these exchanges are completely incompetent or these hacks are made from the inside. Corruption is everywhere and only time will tell if bad actors are working to discourage the masses from investing or if we just simply need to improve the security in this industry.

Some people were implying an inside job. I guess we will never know unless solid proof come to surface but in my opinion these hacks are being orchestrated by powerful ententies to discourage the general public to invest in cryptocurrencies. The threat is real for the old financial system.

Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage
by
leps
on 26/05/2019, 10:54:42 UTC
Bought some SIA 22 months ago near the high for the long term HODL
Lost 60% in USD value and 95(!!!)% in BTC value since then.  Roll Eyes  Cry
Since it has not made a good pump like many other coins I am now willing to sell.

1.) Volume on exchanges is very low
2.) I still can not store the SIA in my Ledger oder Xaurum wallet => Exchange storage is dangerous
3.) Coin progress is slow (not a SCAM I think but slow)
4.) Other projects could outrun SIA

I think I will sell half of my position for EOS und HODL the other half on the exchange. Maybe the smaller coins like SIA will have also a pump soon!?
Learned  my lesson: Don´t HODL this little coins, only trade them for short term.

If you are a long term holder why sell now if Sia is sitting on the btc pair support level? Bitcoin and all these coins have market cycles. I cannot guarantee it but most probably Sia will pump again to it's ATH in the next bullrun and so are most of the other coins that are active and trading.
Investors must be prepared to lose, I agree that making SIA Coin for the long term is a good solution for profit, I also buy when the price is $ 0.007 cents and now the price is less $ 0.003, waiting for profit is certainly the right solution rather than cut loss.

If you believe in Siacoin then what you guys must do is dollar cost average your position just like any other coin such as Bitcoin. So if you bought let's say $1000 at $0.007, you buy another $1000 at $0.003 then when eventually goes up again to $0.007 you sell your position or keep a moonbag for more profit. I am not giving financial advice. Just telling what I do if I am losing money on a coin that I believe it will go to the previous ATH.

Wasn't Ethos the coin that the Youtuber Suppoman made a lot of money shilling it as the secret coin that would make you a millionaire in a paid udemy course? It went from a billion marketcap to 7 million? How is it possible to lose that much value? What happened?

Nash is so decentralized that 50% of the token is kept by team and that you need to pass a KYC to stake on the exchange  Grin Grin

Instead of holding on exchanges it is better to hold on the wallet because we have seen many exchanges at being hacked. Is there any specialised wallets to store the NEX in the wallets because it will be a safe side for us, instead of holding them on exchanges.

How are you going to benefit from the tokenonomics if you send it to a wallet? For example you need to hold bnb on the exchange to benefit from the trading fees or am I wrong?

Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ?
by
leps
on 25/05/2019, 09:14:04 UTC
protect from what ? Ieo does not protect anything but they will only protect their own business from scammers and hackers . They also protect their business from the authorities in which they will get certification and approvement from the local government so that this will make thier business more legal .

Speaking of protect , bounty hunters dont get any protection from someone else but bounty hunters should only protect them selves from those fraud and scam projects

How can bounty hunters protect themselves from fraud if they don't their bounty campaign is a fraud or not. Only thing we can do is to enter a campaign where the campaign manager has a good trust score and research the ICO/IEO team background to see if they are legit and hope they honor their word.

Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD]
by
leps
on 25/05/2019, 09:08:50 UTC
Well, I am following their updates on telegram. I am also following their twitter and in general all their media accounts I don't see anything that justifies this downtrend so that is why I am trying to find a reason for such low demand for Credits.

I've been following Credits since their ICO. My thoughts are that Credits had a bad marketing start and suffered from the beginning from a strong fud campaign. Thus they didn't catch the hype that many other projects do catch. Their marketing is at this moment still not what the project deserves and perhaps there's still a little fud echoing. But as you can see from the news messages they are doing very well in developing the content of the project. In tech and partnerships they are doing very well. It just takes a little longer for the community to pick up that Credits is actually a grand project.

I am aware of the fud campaign but the price of credits already suffured a huge drop from ATH from that campaign and because of the bear market. My question was regarding the new ATL price when exists ongoing development and partnership news.

They promised 1 mln TPS since ICO. But in testnet they had much less. And in mainnet even more less. So this is the reason may be. They didnt provide real promises...

As I see they took part in Consensus conferense. But I didnt understand: did they take part as speakers or as usual members only?

Like the guy in the post above said, they have reached more than 1 mil transactions per second in the internal load test.

They have a consensus conference report here: https://medium.com/@credits/credits-team-at-consensus-2019-report-bd778e9b1f45

Credits must be one of the few blockchain projects with a mainnet that is active on github, constantly giving updates, establishing partnerships and is trading on all time lows. It's hard to understand this market sometimes.
Are there any negative news that I am not aware of?

I think, if there were any negative news here, then we would have found out. usually, if something bad happens, it is actively discussed in the topic. so, I think, that at the moment is everything alright

Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ?
by
leps
on 23/05/2019, 11:33:23 UTC
Most members of this forum have participated in one bounty or the other and must have been shocked by the project team either by not paying them, payment reduced to $0 after 16 weeks of hard job or the token/coin does not get listed or the project is a scam entirely.

Can we now agree that the IEO projects will protect the interests of the bounty hunters ?

I can see IEO's being safer for investors than ICO's but if an IEO is going to get listed on top exchanges like Binance that is enough publicity for them and I don't see those startups putting up bounty offers.
The exchanges will do the promotion work for these IEO's and if the exchange is small maybe they will give bounties for promotion but I don't know how this is going to work out for bounty hunters in the future as more people and regulation come to this space.

dropped to a historic low, next level 1000 sats, hitbtc should delist this scam so as not to mislead people

In July 2017 this project had a market capital of around $41 million and each DBIX was worth around $42.50

In January 2018 this project had a market capital of over $65 million and each DBIX was worth around $34.91

This is another project with no real plan and no real progress but went live with a lot of publicity and unachievable targets and milestones.

Each DBIX is currently worth $0.265 and has a market capital of just over $1 million

The only exchange it is listed on is HitBTC and it had a previous 24 hour trade of just $3,254.

It had no choice to sink.

Agree with you, but not that mean DBIX dead project

Did you think  about community, that almost half of supply hold on Cryptopia?

We are in contact with Cryptopia to get solution
For that we have to swap Dubaicoin to new protocol
1:1  to cover  all our community loss,
We are waiting just for cryptopia to give us full info users
Alsahli work hard on that,  we will do our best to refound all our community, this is our gol

And more bigger news coming soon,

Did you guys have any reply from cryptopia? Are they working with you to find a solution or did they went radio silence? Many people are trying to get their funds out but cryptopia is not responding.

Altough I don't see many people talking about Tezos, you can see it in 16th place on CMC and if Tezos follows the ethereum chart history then Tezos can be one of those coins to make at least 100x if not 1000x.
Another that I would love to see 100x is Lamden. They are releasing their RC net in the next few months and with luck we can see mainnet this year.
Many coins can 100x in the next bullrun. Just accumulate your favourite coin until then.

Re: CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume
by
leps
on 19/05/2019, 19:10:00 UTC
Hello everyone! CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume. From today onwards, we won't be sorting exchanges by reported volume but will take into account web traffic and orderbook data.  Grin

Full announcement: https://blog.coingecko.com/trust-score/

Great to be acknowledge by CZ from Binance and CoinDesk:
https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1127928142859866113
https://www.coindesk.com/coingecko-unveils-exchange-trust-score-to-fight-fake-volume-data

Check it out and let us know what you think!

Great to read these news. It's about time some of these websites start showing the real volume of the market.

That's some good stuff. Though unfortunately since majority are still geared towards CoinMarketCap, I don't think this makes that much of an impact. It's a step forward though; I just wish they'd do a re-make on their UI.

CMC does not show live trading price changes and volume and as more people come to this market they will start to look at other options too. Either coinmarketcap improves their website quality or sooner or later they will be left behind.
