Re: Who actually invests in ICO's?
by
leviathon
on 24/11/2018, 11:57:55 UTC
I know that most of todays traders are here just to make a quick buck, they dont care about the project, or the idea behind the project, they just want "PUUUPM" and "MOOOON". And with all the scam ICO's that we had in the past( my personal favorite BitConneeeeect) people have lost faith in ICO's. But still new ICO's and new ideas are being published every day, I've seen on some projects that i'm following that they reached their soft or hardcap, but what triggers my mind is: Who is investing in those ICO's, what is the one thing that lures the todays investors into investing in a certain project?
The people that want to make money. You might look at it that there surely will not be a lot of people who are investing in icos but that is wrong, there are a lot of people who are investing money into icos and it is not that they do not understand the risks, but it is that they understand that if you are ever going to make money then you have to be willing to take risks

Re: EOS is next Ethereum

A lot of people saying that EOS is going to be next Ethereum

What's your honest opinion? Should we invest or not?

I don't know if it is, i mean it is a good platform but that does not mean that it is going to be the next ethereum and besides all of the coins are unique in their own ways which means that the coins can never be the same. If you are referring to the possibility of eos overtaking ethereum then I would have to disagree cause it will never happen

Re: Which alt coin can I invest?
by
leviathon
on 23/11/2018, 17:29:46 UTC
After waiting for some months for ico's I invest to come on board but to no avail, i wish to re-strategize on alt coin that are on coinmarketcap.
Please can someone tell me good coins a least five different coins below $1?

You can invest in the top altcoins personally for me the best altcoin to invest in has always been ethereum but since you are looking for cheap coins then I would have to point you in the direction of coins like doge, neo and lindacoin. Those are the coins I know are really cheap right now with a lot of potential so you can make profit

Re: Will Monero become next BTC?
by
leviathon
on 22/11/2018, 16:10:14 UTC
Currently, Monero is the 10th largest coin by market capitalization. Crypto miners are attracted to Monero because it has emerged as the most profitable altcoin in the past few months.

A research firm Satis Group, which forecasts the cryptocurrency market and the fate of individual cryptocurrencies, published a reporting stating that Monero could be worth $18,000 within the next five years. That represents a more than an 18,000% increase from its present value, which stands at just over $106.

From"Monero's price: all you need to know"

How do you think about XMP? Another BTC?
The next btc, no but it will become one of the most valuable coin in the market. If you are looking for the coin that mostly resembles what bitcoin was in the beginning then that coin will have to be monero, with the anonymity that comes with the coin it is no surprise that people are now looking to switch to this privacy coin to keep their transactions more hidden

Re: How is ETH now?
by
leviathon
on 22/11/2018, 16:02:46 UTC
Ethereum is suffering along with the other coins, eth is one of the coins that moves so closely with the price of bitcoin so it is not surprise to see that the price of the coin has fallen down so much to this point. With that being said, I think when we start going into another recovery then ethereum will be the coin that starts to go up quickly along with the price of bitcoin

Re: Cryptocurrency Risk in 2018
by
leviathon
on 21/11/2018, 17:24:20 UTC
If you look at the cryptoccurency market situation lately it is very disappointing and even the opinions of observers become divided, some consider this to be common, others consider this situation very dangerous for the development of the crypto world.
The most important question of the condition is whether such market conditions will affect investors, or is this a situation that investors want?

Most of the risks that we are taking when we are investing in cryptocurrencies have already being surpassed in the year, there is still some risks of the coins falling further down so you want to keep that in mind when you are investing in the coins. That way you can be ready for whatever happens after you are done buying the coins. Also you want to keep your wallet safe from hackers

Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam?
by
leviathon
on 21/11/2018, 17:16:15 UTC
There are different kinds and there are both kinds of them in the market but now it does seem that the number of the scam coins far outweighs the number of the legit coins that we have in the market right now. This calls for a lot of caution when you are investing in the market to make sure that in the long run you are not investing in something that is going to make you lose a lot of money

Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO
by

I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO. I need advice from you. please give me a list of trusted ico

I don't know if buying an ico is something that you should be doing right now because of the icos now being useless. You are really better off investing that money into a good coin that you can trust. An already established coin but one which is still cheap like neo would be a better pick for you to spend that eth on so you can be sure you will make money from it

Re: New Altcoins and purpose
by
leviathon
on 20/11/2018, 18:21:37 UTC
Most of them have no purpose, most time a small glimpse of the coin tells you this much because you know that the project has nothing to offer that people would actually want to use in a couple of years so they are most likely just going to die out. The only purpose that the coins that are coming out of the market right now have is that they want to make money

Re: The End of Anonymity and the Start of Tax Hell for Crypto
by
leviathon
on 20/11/2018, 18:15:34 UTC
Angry Angry Sad Governments are dreaming of removing anonymity from Crypto. They see Crypto as a taxable goldmine and they want to cash in.

Any thoughts? Check the post on Medium on the topic.

Any thoughts?

Not really surprised, I mean did we really think that we were going to get away with not paying taxes on our crypto earnings for a long time? It is also a good thing because if the governments have a way to tax the earnings then they have nothing against making the coins legal for general use which in the long run is a win win for everyone involved

Re: Can HTB, Token of Hotbit Exchange Hit 40x?
by
leviathon
on 18/11/2018, 17:38:20 UTC
That might be a bit of a stretch with the 40x but that being said there is a lot of potential for the coin to grow very high and make a lot of returns since it is an exchange backed coin. Although there is the fact that a lot of people do not trust the exchange so that might end up affecting the price of the coin. This kind of thing needs trust for it to happen

Re: Celebrity Endorsed Cryptocurrency
by
leviathon

Stox: Floyd Mayweather, Luis Suarez, Liang Tian
Centra: Floyd Mayweather, DJ Khaled
Cobin Hood: Jamie Foxx.
The Game (Rapper): Paragon
Max Keiser: Maxcoin
Paris Hilton: Lydian Coin

Whats your take on celebrity endorsements with the crypto world? Do you think it actually helps? Question is how many fans actually know and care about crypto to actually invest??
Mostly they are just using the celebrities to get more people to invest in their scam coins, they are just going to take off with the money that they get from the investors once they are done, but they know that with the celebrities endorsing the coins, they are going to get more supporters for the coins. It is all a facade to get people to think that it is a good project

Re: Cryptocurrencies prices decline again, what much do we expect?
by
leviathon
on 17/11/2018, 19:14:37 UTC
There is nothing more to expect, the price of the coin has been going down for a while and I think that it is because a whale might be selling off some of their coins. Now we can only hold our coins and wait for the demand of the coins to go up before we start to see better prices in the coin. Mostly with cryptocurrencies it is better to just go with the flow

Re: Strategy on This market
by
leviathon
on 16/11/2018, 20:57:32 UTC
Do not sell anything at all in a market like this, you are going to end up regretting it, that is always the case, people sell their coins and then when they start to see the market bull, they start to regret selling their coins and if something like that happens to you, then you will have no one to blame but yourself. It is better for you to just hold your coins now in wait for the next bull

Re: China lifts ban on cryptocurrency
by

A good news is back from the most populated and powerful country in the world. China lifts ban on cryptocurrency, individuals and businesses can own crypto now legally. I believe this change will impact on the market value and it may go up now.
I did not know that there was a ban on cryptocurrencies in china, i thought that they only had the ban on icos but I guess I thought wrong, Either way this is good news because there are a lot of investors in china and with the lifting of the ban, it is going to enable even more investors come into the market since they will be more confident in it

Re: BITCOIN CASH- WILL IT REPLACE BITCOIN TO BE A KING OF CRYPTO
by
leviathon
on 15/11/2018, 17:59:23 UTC
Not at all, bitcoin remains the most secure coin of all of the coins and with coins like bitcoin cash, they are just piggybacking off the success of bitcoin, they do not have any real projects of their own, no uniqueness, it's basically like how a copy cat operates. There is no way that bch is going to be able to overtake bitcoin regardless of how well the coin does

Re: Stable Coins Necessary?
by
leviathon
on 15/11/2018, 17:51:52 UTC

Currently seems every project or crypto company wanna create a stable coin now, except USDT, currently we have GUSD, TUSD, PAX.

But do you think it's really necessary to have so many stable coins?

I do not see why they are necessary, it is not like you can actually make any money from investing in stable coins, they just stay where they are which kind of defeats the purpose of me becoming a crypto investor. I want to make money and it is with volatility that I can make that money and besides the stable coins are not really stable if their prices keep fluctuating`

Re: EOS - the best crypto!
by

on 14/11/2018, 08:30:41 UTC
I do not believe this, I know that the coin is a very good coin but there is no way that it can say that it is the best coin in the market, there are coins out there that are way better than the coin in terms of value price and the amount of investors that we have in the coins. Invest in it if you want but it is not the best coins, there are way better coins than eos

Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts?
by
leviathon
on 14/11/2018, 08:25:25 UTC
Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

I do not even buy less than the top 20 altcoins, there is no way that I am going that far down the list when there are so many scam coins out here which are dying and getting delisted lately. I am not here to lose money so I am always going to invest in a coin that I can be sure that last here for the long term, there is way more risks involved in investing in those coins

Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin?
by
leviathon
on 14/11/2018, 08:14:28 UTC
They are already as important as bitcoin, there was never going to be one kind of cryptocurrency just like there is never going to be one kind of currency. There is always going to be the places that altcoins are always going to be more important than bitcoin, because there is no way that bitcoin is going to be able to serve the whole world at the same time
