Hey everybody. I just wanted to share an update on progress on the PoS switch fund. After a huge donation from lucd88 in behalf of CrownCentral (https://crowncentral.net), we are now over 80% of the way to hitting the full 100k CRW pot. This follows Maleda's 'Day of 7s' push a week or two ago.  With one more big push, we could crack this today and know that the switch will be completed quickly and by the best.

Although CRW has suffered in the general crypto doldrums (and 100k CRW is not $100k USD) and there has been some hesitancy during this transition, a big step forward and an change to the new consensus will send a hugely positive message that we can shout about, with the API to follow at great pace as the core team is able to focus on it.

With 80% looming large and 8 being a lucky number (in China at least), let's make today a 'Day of 8s'! Numbers with 8, or a multiple of 8 (or, well, any number really) will be lucky today! Or, you know, just a really valuable contribution to the project or which we're all members. 

I've just contributed by node rewards again, to help us in that last sprint towards the line. If you can, and you feel able to, I can only encourage you to do the same. As we move this project forward, we will know that we did it not by HODLing, but by actively contributing to its growth.

Now the the issue has been tracked down, the devs are just getting a fix ready and making it sure it'll work properly. Hopefully not long now. In the meantime, don't rely on things looking like they synced. My wallet said it had finished a short time ago, but may need to re-sync once they have it all ready. For now, best just to close the wallet and sit and wait for official news. Shouldn't be long now (hours, not days, hopefully).

When you start (or restart) a node, it joins the back of the queue, so it can take 48 (up to 60 on rare occasions) to get its first reward. After that it should be about once a day, yeah.
