Re: What do you try to learn first?
by

If someone who is not that knowledgeable about sports and gambling but wants to do sports betting, what would you recommend for him to start learning first? Do you advise him to go and watch sport matches and learn how it goes first or go to online casinos and learn about sports betting? Will he someone with sports knowledge be more profitable in sports betting or will someone with gambling experience come out on top?
Initially, I would advise practicing patience. Because if a person does not have patience and is excessively emotional, then he is not suitable for gambling. If you want to bet on sports, then choose your favourite game. Practice about the teams and players of different countries involved in that game. Do not bet depending on others. Keep the amount of money for gambling that you can afford to lose.

If that's the only two choices then I'm all bullish Smiley

But I still think the situation over the past couple of months has not changed at all. The world is destabilized and it is getting worse every day with various conflicts (including the economic/tariff war). That destabilization creates uncertainty and that accompanied by the high inflation and the ongoing recession means less people are willing to buy bitcoin.

Therefore we will see small rises every now and then but no strong momentum for those big regular rises that we are used to in bitcoin market. At least not for the time being...

Well the market is suppose to be bullish since we in a bull market but it's just that setbacks like you stated are the ones actually delaying the market pump so in general its better to stay optimistic that all these waves of event will pass through and then the actually big time pumps will commence. I don't know how long this will take but I think the market always goes green in the end part of the year especially the festive months like December and November.
We are at a critical juncture in the Bitcoin market. Our position in the first slot of the end of the year could extend Bitcoin's correction period further. The market is adjusting with some small corrections and making some way for investors to buy more. The market is in a stable phase with a combination of bullish sentiment and a slow climb. I think the pumping will increase further towards the end of this month. And the last few months may be a bit more volatile than significant fluctuations. I agree with you somewhat that we may see another price record break by November and December.

Re: Reasons to use only Discretionary Income for Bitcoin investment.

Using discretionary income for Bitcoin keeps essentials safe, avoids emergency risks, and promotes discipline.
By using discretionary income to accumulation Bitcoin, you can meet your expectations because you can implement each of your expenses properly as well as get a large Bitcoin holding through long term management. For anyone who is not financially sound or solvency it is better to continue accumulation Bitcoin by following the Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) method. DCA method is suitable for buy Bitcoin because its price is volatile so during times of dumping or pumping prices small purchases reduce the average value of Bitcoin in the portfolio.

Re: Who is responsible for a fallen economy?

What is your source so I can look at it properly, I'm into buying and selling and price of goods hasn't gone stable for more than 1 week since last year. Most of the things in Nigeria are not longer subsidized by this current administration, from petroleum products to healthcare so what have they done with the money ? Borrowed more than Late Buhari did in 8 years, so are we progressing as a country when everything is being borrowed for?

I supported this Govemment and my expectations were high but I haven't seen any good framework to economy recovery.
Nobody is happy with this government. But at least it was not like 2023 and 2024 which was full of naira devaluation and inflation. What I noticed now is that food price is better. Naira exchange rate is better. About the price of goods, especially the foreign goods, the inflation is not like before, but I am surprised that despite that there is fall in dollar price, they still remain kind of stable. We should not expect the prices to fall significantly because it is also not good for the economy. We all know how the country was not good at all in 2023 and 2024 but 2025 things are getting better. I am also buying things which I am using for the evaluation.

Inflation was rampant in 2023 and 2024, which continued into the first few months of 2025, but the naira has been strengthening in recent months as the dollar has depreciated. This is a good situation for the economy, but it may take a few more months for the benefits to reach the common people. If inflation can be reduced further, the gap between the income and expenditure of the people of the country will be greatly reduced. If the government can properly implement the programs it has taken to restore the economy, the benefits of reducing inflation will reach every citizen.

Re: Mindset of getting rich through gambling
by

on 30/08/2025, 15:58:18 UTC
Many persons have been gambling for more than 10 years without seeing more gain that their have lost in the past years.
I have a friend who has vowed that he must get rich through this gambling which propels him to be staking everyday a day will not pass that he will not show me a coupon and i have been very worried about this so i dont know if i should tell him to stop dreaming of acquiring a big house a nice car good clothes with gamble money.
I have heard of some gamblers that win big money but their life haven't changed, they still continue to gamble. The problem is not the winning because if you win you will continue to gamble as you will think more win will come. The mindset of the gambler is the problem here, you must know that the rate of gamblers that losses their bet are more than the gamblers that are winning. Yuur friend might not be able to become wealthy from gamble because just few gamblers win huge money and they still lose them again.
Their life will not change if they do not quit gambling. They will continue to gamble regularly and will go through the process of winning or losing. They are not addicted gamblers who didn't quit the game. They continue to play as they please.

These gamblers are mentally tough and no emotion can control them. They fight to win and even if they lose, they learn from it and get back into the game.

Most of these gamblers play to earn money and are very experienced gamblers.

Re: The economy is about competition
by

on 29/08/2025, 06:01:10 UTC
One country's decline is a benefit to another one. It might sound cold and selfish but the truth is that if one economy is declining, you can use this to your advantage. If one country has a failing economy and they can no longer produce high quality products and their trade is losing significance then another country can sweep in and give better offers. This is simply the reality and so economy should not have emotions in because it will not do you good. If you want to improve your financial state, you have to compete. This is true even with smaller scale marketplace. Not a country's but let's say in one city. If one seller fails to deliver good products, you can sell better ones and take their customers. There is no space in the economy for soft hearted because everything is a competition. You have to compete for resources. You have to compete for demand. You have to compete for customers.
The whole world is moving forward in a competitive manner, if you keep yourself behind you are financially lagging behind. If you want to participate in any profitable project, then before that you have to move forward according to the plan such as whether your capital can carry out your business strategy with the amount of money you have or you have to borrow. Some banks are ready to give you a loan to start a business, so you should consider whether you have the available amount of collateral. Without taking a loan you may not be able to properly set up a big project. The market competition will try to crush you so you have to maintain the quality of the product and take a strategy to supply it at a low price according to the demand.

You had the opportunity from 2009 to 2011, now it's gone. You could not have Bitcoin at that time due to your weakness or lack of knowledge, now you have to choose a strategy to accumulation Bitcoin. The opportunity to be enlightened is not over yet, you can accumulation Bitcoin through discretionary Income. If you had understood the current potential situation for Bitcoin, you could have had several thousand Bitcoins. Almost every person has some time and opportunity to earn money and benefit themselves, some can use it properly or some can not use it properly. I think you are now regretting that you could have used the opportunity you had at that time properly.

Re: To delete one thing, what do you think?
by
liasbaa
on 16/08/2025, 14:12:34 UTC
If I were to delete one thing on earth, I would choose hatred.
Without hatred, people could still have different beliefs, opinions, and religions, but they would treat each other with respect and kindness. Removing hatred would reduce wars, discrimination, and conflict, allowing humanity to focus on solving problems together instead of fighting each other.

I would like to ask for the world to remove the greed for power. The greed for power is responsible for the unrest in the world. Check the past history, at that time, kings used to fight against other states to expand their power, in return people from both sides had to lose their lives and most of the deaths were common people. Those rulers used to sit on the throne and rule in exchange for the blood of common people.

You will see the same attitude in modern times too. Powerful countries use weak countries to increase their power. They indulge in every evil activity to come to power and maintain power. The death of millions of people is considered very easy for those cruel rulers. They only want to rule for many years.

Re: Trump & Putin meeting in Alaska — peace talks or PR show?
by
liasbaa
on 16/08/2025, 13:54:50 UTC
Trump and Putin will meet on Aug 15 at a US military base in Alaska. Officially it’s about “talks” and maybe even a Ukraine ceasefire, but critics think it’s more about optics and giving Putin a stage.

Zelensky already said no deal without Ukraine at the table, so hard to see any real breakthrough here.

What do you guys think — could this actually change something, or is it just going to be another media circus?
The message is that Russia will not relinquish the territories it has captured through war. Putin is moving forward with a long-term war strategy. Trump considers himself a peace envoy to keep the world free from war, but he is arming and financially supporting Ukraine. He is pressuring NATO to give more weapons to Ukraine, asking European countries to provide financial and military support.

Although the ceasefire proposals are late, they make sense, although the world wants peace and millions of people have lost their lives, how many children have lost their fathers and become orphans, many sisters have lost their brothers. War is destroying the lives of our children, the new generation is emptying our souls and going to God before the world understands anything.

Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season
by
liasbaa
on 14/08/2025, 16:47:41 UTC
I was shocked by the fact that extra time wasn't played and the match went to penalties. It seemed so strange to me that I was shocked, but perhaps they did it to avoid tiring the players too much given the heat. If it had been played longer, things would have gone differently in my opinion.
After the Super Cup ended at full time without a winner, I was expecting PSG and Tottenham Hotspur to settle their differences in extra time, but I was surprised when they went straight to a penalty shootout without playing extra time. Maybe UEFA knows best why PSG and Tottenham Hotspur didn't play extra time in the Super Cup.
I was not aware of this rule and was surprised. For Tottenham, this match is like an unexpected defeat because they played impressively for almost the entire match but did not win. I was surprised that PSG did not give up until the end of the match to win even after being two goals behind. Winning the penalty shootout by paying two goals at the very last moment made it even more lucky for them.

Re: POSSIBLE RECOVERY AND PROOF OF UNAUTHORIZED CRYPTOCURRENCY TRANSFER
by
liasbaa
on 14/08/2025, 16:26:34 UTC
One of my bosses in the office has some cryptocurrency in his wallet. He does not know much about cryptocurrency especially how to manage a wallet. One day one of his neighbors was helping him with the wallet and without his knowledge the neighbor copied his wallet phrase. Yesterday he discovered that there was nothing left in his wallet because everything had been withdrawn.
Please is there any way we can retrieve the cryptocurrency or is there any way we can get proof that he is the one who really transferred it? We have the wallet address to which the cryptocurrency was transferred.

It is impossible to recover cryptocurrency that has already been transferred. Your boss lost his valuable crypto due to his own mistake. There may be nothing more that can be done to get back the crypto that the neighbor who has already transferred through all the information regarding your boss's wallet has. Your boss should create a new wallet and learn the basics of cryptocurrency storage and security in the future. This kind of foolishness should make you more aware, especially when it comes to crypto assets themselves.

For many years now Nigeria don emerge as one of the global leader for adoption of crypto, which Nigerians don use ham tackle so many economic related issues wah dy we country, e for really good say our government com creates ways wah person go fit dy use crypto dy buy things for places like supermarket, malls, and even to pay school fees, e for really make sense with d wah individuals for we country don get knowledge about this crypto how ona see ham naw
Nigeria don turn strong example for global cryptocurrency adoption, and e fit soon be leader among other countries for di world. But di ruling party and di opposition party for Naija never still show better support for crypto adoption. If government fit boost di adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptos to beta level wey people go believe, e fit help reduce inflation for our country and even get beta potential for di economy. Plenty people for Naija ready use crypto buy their goods and pay bills, but e still be complex economic matter for many countries because decentralized crypto no get power to control government from one centre. But di developed countries don introduce CBDCs as alternative to fiat currencies, wey be something like cryptocurrency.

Re: Your best advice regarding Cryptocurrencies
by

on 13/08/2025, 16:55:43 UTC
Anybody who is going into cryptocurrency should choose bitcoin and then focus on a long time investment plan because there is every chance of making profit in the future even though profit is not guaranteed, invest with the amount you can afford to loss.
Making a profit from Bitcoin is not a constant issue where you cannot be sure even though your chances are very high because the decentralized volatile price market depends only on supply and demand. If you decide to invest in Bitcoin, you need to keep the profit motive away from greed because most newbies buy short-term to get high profits.

In investing in Bitcoin for the long term, you should continue to save for holding than for profit. I do not agree with the fact that there is no guarantee of getting profit. I think that by continuing to accumulate Bitcoin in the DCA method, you can get high profit from the amount of holding you get. The demand for Bitcoin will be infinite in the future but the supply amount is fixed so it's worth should be increase.

Imagine that you are in danger and someone steals or forcibly takes your property from your home. How would you feel then? If you ask yourself this question, you will refrain from stealing or forcibly taking property from the homes of people in danger during a natural disaster or other disaster. It is a common human tendency where you will come forward in the face of others' danger and your neighbours will be there for you in your time of need.

Re: Wrong chain transactions, where does it end?
by

on 09/08/2025, 10:45:24 UTC
Does this kind of transactions ever get processed?
Where does the transaction ends?
Does the chain used in transactions notifies or invalidates an address?
In that case, the exchange should return the assets because they provide many options for sending crypto and if a sender is less experienced and mistakenly sends to a different chain, then the exchange should take responsibility for it. I think if the receiver wallet is not associated with that chain then your crypto assets may be returned or they will be lost forever.

I jus recently joined the bitcoin forum and I aim to increase my knowledge about bitcoin and do some more research because it seems like the best knowledge about bitcoin is in this forum.

Do well to support my journey in this forum with any positive feedback, support or advice.
You have chosen the right consideration to learn about Bitcoin because this is the reliable position in the world where investors are striving and succeeding to reach a strong position through Bitcoin's past analysis and its structural review. With the possibility of Bitcoin's progress and price increase in the future, investors need to focus on increasing their investment. May your journey in the forum be successful, but continuing to deposit Bitcoin while still being an apprentice will actually develop a correct understanding of the market and the structural knowledge of Bitcoin will continue to increase.
