The fact that a lot of people use Bitcoin as a way to store their money because their own country's economy is weak. So, if Bitcoin starts to lose value faster than their economy, they will take it out.

I think that with Blockchain technology is easier to "buy what you believe in". It gives us more power to show our discontent and opposition. Maybe not all of them need them, but blockchain technology itself can contribute greatly to many different fields.

Re: Crypro will make people smarter?
by

I think that there are many situations in real life that need just as much research and caution as crypto and people still don't know how to handle them (buying a house, credit, debt) so I don't think it's going to help, honestly. Maybe the lack of regulation makes people generally more cautious but not necessarily smarter.

by

Re: Fiat, Banks and the future of Cryptocurrencies
by

I think it's mainly because of the lack of regulation that crypto has. Depending on the country, if a bank is involved in non-regulated activities, they can get fined big sums of money.
Also, crypto is a way to skip fees on international transactions. If you want to transfer a lot of money, you can end up paying almost 20% depending on the bank.

Motivation is transitory and will eventually disappear. Discipline will keep you in track and help you achieve your goals.

It's also useful because English is not everybody's first language, and, in this way, they can still access the information. Let us know if you make more!

I think it's more oriented to people with a risk taker attitude, because Btc is less stable than other markets. Also, it is really attractive for economies that have a currency that gets weaker everyday, like Argentina and Venezuela.

With markets as volatile as this one, it is important to understand that fluctuations are inevitable. So, as long as it looks like it's not going to crash, it is probably better to just tough it out.

As they said, I think it defeats the purpose of cryptocurrency. It is necessary to ask why they would want to implement it, based on which project or with what intent.

The thing with bitcoin is that because it has no "central institution" we can't control its fluctuations. So I don't believe it will stabilize any time soon.

Grin

It won't disappear, but it won't be the same. It has to change according to the market, the regulations in each government and the rapid change within the community. Unless there's a huge-worldwide boycott, it will be okay.
