i had an old order on tradeogre at 8sat and had been filled during the massive dump
so i'm screwed?

Unfortunately now that poll closed and people voted NO more snapshots, essentially you are holding onto worthless PCN tokens. However there are rumors on Twitter that the PCN community is looking to continue developing PCN

Good luck and hope some positive comes out of this shitty situation

Re: Ripple (XRP) to be added to Coinbase?
by

I am a foreigner living in Japan. Japanese investors LOVE ripple and there has been a lot of interest coming from the banks. You are crazy not to jump on this coin. It will hit $1 soon and if it hits coinbase or another major U.S exchange, it's possible to eventually reach $2 and up.

I am Japanese and I second this comment. Japanese crypt investors don't jump from one flavor of the week to another. They stick to what they like and they absolutely love Ripple.

Re: IOTA

I am looking for another level I can accumulate more IOTA, I know next year will be huge for the company and crypto. The Value of Cryptocurrencies vary very differently from the stock market. Been doing alot of research, in general people who had money in the tech bubble, either have WAY more or went broke. but the people who made it have even more money than ever before, this institutinal money is still not completely seen.

.00030X-.00031X is an accumulation zone, bbands are looking really attractive to invest in more.

I agree. Its been holding tight even with the whole BTC/BCH debacle. And when it pumped early December it went 4x in SATs even though BTC was pumping crazy which you rarely see. I see a great investment opportunity and at the very worst a good hedge against a falling BTC

Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now?
by
limefatcat
on 09/11/2017, 16:30:50 UTC
As BTC holder since 2013, i'm actually very surprised at the current price this early. BTC is a perfect example of something that trades on market sentiment. Fresh money came in due to exposure in mainstream media and older money came in via alts for CME and segwit. Now that segwit 2x has been postponed I think many of the older alt holders aren't rushing to get back into their original positions especially after seeing their precious alts dump and btc seemingly unaffected. I'm keeping what I have in OMG but I sold the rest of my alts into yesterday and today's pump (or shall we say crypto correction) and added to my BTC holdings. I think the ALT market fomo'd with the BTC and ETH/LTC rise this year but I am convinced now that BTC is king unless you want to swing trade ALTs for more BTC. I think this year has proven that even the most promising ALTs like OMG, NEO, ARK, LISK are still a long ways from being fully developed and there is still the big IF it will successfully be used in real life. BTC will be like gold. Arguably inferior to other coins but the most precious. First mover advantage with the community doing what DeBeers is doing for diamonds. Unstoppable.

Re: [OMG] OmiseGO - Speculation & Discussion
by
limefatcat
on 10/10/2017, 17:46:32 UTC
I'm torn because I love the technology and if the omise team can make it work this has 3 digit potential at least but it is a boring hold. I have moved OMG in and out of MEW as I struggle to decide if I should
sell it for another coin and move it back to OMG once I get some profit. I decided against doing that as I don't want to risk losing my OMG.

Pricewise, everything is speculative and I think all the upcoming news for the year including SDK wallet is priced in at the $11-$13 range so I don't see it going much higher this year.
That is unless they make a major unexpected announcement.

This is a long term hold with not too much downside risk unless they completely scrap the project. I expect the price to go up and down as they make progress, or lack there of for an extended period of time,
as it gradually climbs up.

With that being said, atm, I don't think there is a coin that has more potential than OMG. If anybody can pull off this amazing tech, it's these guys along with Poon and Vitalik.
Every serious investor should have at least a few OMG in their portfolio. This is a FAANG stock of the cryptoworld. Sure there are tons of low and mid caps that can moon but this
is a safe bet with some serious mooning potential (something traditional high cap stocks can't do)

Re: Hold BTC or Buy Altcoins - Hard fork
by

My alt portfolio is taking a beating but I've accumulated enough through all the dips and valleys but I will take a wait and see approach.
If alts keep falling I may add more OMG, WTC with the BTCs I have sitting on exchanges.
Otherwise I plan on holding my BTCs in my wallet and doing nothing and stop looking at blockfolio everyday.
I don't have high expectations for BTC-gold

Waltonchain (WTC) Amazing Team, REDDIT AMA coming soon
by

on 09/10/2017, 18:02:17 UTC
Aside from OMG (including their Twitter blunders) I think WTC has one of the best teams and a bright future.
Creating a new post to bring deserved awareness since it got FUDed to shit with all lies and the WTC team has been working hard to debunk them.

Re: Is Walton (WTC) the next Omisgo? Or the next Civic?
by
limefatcat
on 09/10/2017, 17:46:08 UTC
I am a bit biased since I've been heavily in WTC prior to all the China FUD, held through because I believed in the tech and the team and have since profited handsomely as a result.
With that being said, if my mother asked me if she should invest in WTC, I would still highly recommend it since I believe its still in its early stages and has legs to make a run at least into the early $10's and
maybe even $20 by the end of the year. Many people say $30-$50 but I don't see that happening by EOY. The real value is getting enough for a masternode (5000 WTC) so you get future dividends.
How much dividend? That is still TBD.

As far as the next OMG? Technologically they are apples and oranges but they both have lots of potential. It appears at the moment, WTC will have a working product sooner than OMG.

Disclosure: My altcoin portfolio is 40% WTC, 40% OMG and 20% etc (WAVE, LINK, FLO)

Re: Red Pulse (RPX) just destroyed themselves - Worst ICO ever!
by
limefatcat
on 09/10/2017, 16:58:22 UTC
as a US resident I didn't want to go through all the trouble for RPX ICO using VPN, etc for this exact reason.
everybody from Binance ICO days remembers NEO taking a dump shortly after the ICO, after those who couldn't get in dump their NEO.
Now coupled with the BTCG and Segwit 2X situation, those who bought NEO in the mid to high $30s with sole intention of RPX ICO will be left watching
their NEO drop in value while waiting for a refund.
RPX needs to move quickly with their refund

Re: what happen to all altcoin?
by
limefatcat
on 09/10/2017, 16:33:42 UTC
I'm holding both BTC and a bunch of altcoins.
There is so much conflicting information out there so I'm confused.

I understand the recovery of BTC after all the FUD and also about BTC Gold hardfork 10/25.
So far I expected altcoins to go down and decided to hold rather than do anything since I'm more or less a long term holder at least as defined in cryptoverse and don't want to risk trading in and out of BTC.
I don't care about BTC Gold.

My question is how about the segwit 2x in mid November? What do you guys expect to happen to alts then? We've never experienced two forks happening in such a short period of time
so if anyone has any opinions or speculations I appreciate it.

Cheers

This thread should be titled "what's in your wallet?"  Grin

I don't consider myself a trader so my holds are for the foreseeable future long term holds barring major changes.

OMG, WTC, LINK, SYS, FLO, WAVES and of course the almight BTC.

I don't chase moons although I've been lucky to have some of them moon.

Nothing wrong with shilling a coin that you're excited about and have financial interest in. Everybody can do their DD and come up with their own expectations on whether its good or a shit coin.
With that being said I have some LINK as well and very excited for the future. ICO sold out really fast so OP and I are clearly not the only ones.
It hasn't been pumped (yet) and I hope we get some real organic growth, although a pump to get things going won't hurt.

You can trade LINK on Binance which is the #5 exchange per volume as of this writing.

Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges.
by

CZ the CEO of Binance has addressed on both Slack and Telegram that they are not a Chinese exchange therefore they are not under China's scrutiny or regulations.
They had an issue with the some of their listings because they were Chinese ICO coins but once those coins either got delisted or had to follow the strict refund guidelines
business went on as usual.

Can any one please tell me why they see such great future for this coin?
I live in Thailand, been here over 7 years, so I understand how people are here and what they use.
I can go on and on, but honestly, a mobile payment like this will not catch on here. I can explain and give you all reasons if any one is interested.
Because it is future of ethereum main project and Vitalik supporting them.

Most people think it's gunna be an everyday use here. They think all the people in Asia will use this in daily life.
That's where I know people are wrong. But people who don't live here don't know what it's really like here

Maybe everyone will use this without knowing its OmiseGo.

who's going to use the internet, smart phones? people who don't have the vision will either eventually embrace it or deny its usability.
I think we are quite a ways for becoming adopted as a mainstream method of payment ( I lived in Vietnam for 5 years) but the Omise team is definitely on the right track with their current
partnerships.

It's weird how those who invest in WTC start to sound like a religious cult.
[/quote]

go to subs of ETH, NEO, OMG, ARK, etc (all of which I'm invested in btw) and you will see worse. People getting excited and shilling their coin is what the community is about.

HOWEVER, people like keihatsu who take time out of their busy schedule to not only warn others about WTC when he has ABSOLUTELY no interest in it are very very rare.
While on the surface he may sound like a complete psychopath cold calling Septwolves, etc and what may appear to us newbs as someone who is mentally instable,
I only see a crusader who has only the interest of others in his heart. A true hero. Bravo.

This newb, who has been holding over 2 dozen BTC since the $500 days and just made 600% on WTC will certainly take your words into serious consideration.
