From BKKCoins to a question I asked:

So if Terrahash is starting to take orders tomorrow and you are no where near functional firmware and they expect chips in a less than a month, will they be able to deliver a functional product?

Bkkcoins:
Probably. Maybe. It should not take long to get the firmware functional now. But things can go wrong and if they do then it could take much longer. If the reports from burnin of the ASIC being very fussy about it's data clocking are accurate then there is a good chance that getting ASIC comm could take us off track. Any change that forces redesign will mean new boards and at least a 2 week set back. But we don't know that yet. I'll be testing ASIC comm. initially on a K1 as it's much simpler and so I can focus on just a single chip. One of the design faults of the ASIC as far as I can tell is that it doesn't provide a way to confirm data receipt (unless that is what one of the debug signals is for - but they are undocumented, and everything else is very minimally documented.) So the only way I know of now is to feed data that should immediately or soon after give a result and check for result data output. There could have been much smarter communication design but for whatever reasons we don't have that luxury here.

Yeah we already knew this when we placed our order.

I also think that orders should be reserved by when you PAY.

I don't quite disagree with you since I did pay instantly, but that could be problematic for anyone paying by wire, no?  It sure would suck to get one of the first orders in and then be pushed back to the second batch just because you had cash in hand and had to wait 3 days for it to get transferred.

Yeah but you choose to be an idiot and wire transfer.....get a prepaid CC and pay through paypal.

Sorry to tell you, but your group is not the First.  I started a group based on some feedback I got from Canadian customers who joined Canary's group buy.

Just join my group buy.  Don't start another one, unless you are scamming.

Apparently you can't read. It doesn't say this is the first Canadian group buy. its says its the first one that I set up. but yeah I'm giving up since you know this was not a scam and that all im getting is people thinking it is.

The information bellow was copied from another sales thread. however I couldn't have said it better myself.

-----------------------------------------

The message signing process is only to prove you own a certain bitcoin address.
You will want to sign the message right after you send payment.  Once payment is sent, copy the bitcoin address you sent the payment from and copy the transaction ID to enter in your message.

If using bitcoin-qt:
Click file, then sign message:

http://www.seriallogic.com/pictures/bitcoin/1.jpg

In line 1 - enter the bitcoin address you sent the payment from
In line 2 - construct a detailed message based of the example shown below.  Best to use details about the payment sent including transaction number etc.
Then click the button labeled sign message (3)

http://www.seriallogic.com/pictures/bitcoin/2.jpg

After you click that button, you will get this message:

http://www.seriallogic.com/pictures/bitcoin/3.jpg

Now, PM all three of these fields to linuxmonkey:
-Address you sent payment from that you used in line 1  (this is the address recorded for your transaction on the list of orders.)
-message entered in line 2 (shipping info with phone if required)
-signature that bitcoin-qt populated.

On my end, I use these 3 pieces of information in the verify tab and it will confirm that all the information is correct.

Do not make any of the info public.  Make sure everything is copy and pasted verbatim.

I totally agree with that, I know for one if I am able to get some boards/chips made or bought I will send some your way. P.s. ANY ETA when shit will be ready?

I'm going to release the firmware and driver code once it's working. I was thinking of all that stuff to protect it but to be honest that's just is a hassle. I'm going to just trust that people will choose to support the vendors that kick back a small fee. Or even better maybe they'll mine a few hours for me by their own choice. I'll put the mine-to address out there when it's time. I'm getting a lot of help/support from forum members here and I think it's better to respect that by not having locked code at all.

Air is room temperature however may fluctuate during transit.

Yes these are ready to go, just need to slap a few stamps and an address on these!

Air/s ratio depends on how quick you are!

Here is a picture of unit...

As you can see the air pockets are secured inside the envelope.

I will actually ship these units with personalized messages too Smiley

To be honest all I know it was professionally packaged.  All depending on the batch it could even be Canadian air.
