Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and ZelCore!

The people who left had no dev skills, they had no marketing skills, no big connections to important exchanges or people, they joined later and quickly left, and basically couldn't get anything done.
So, developers who stayed have dev skills, marketing skills, have big connections to important people and exchanges?

I didn't say that anywhere, is that your conclusion  Huh Roll Eyes
BTX has never been marketed properly, so I would definitely not say the devs have marketing skills etc...
My conclusion is that the people who WERE there for those tasks failed big time and couldn't make anything work.

The people who left had no dev skills, they had no marketing skills, no big connections to important exchanges or people, they joined later and quickly left, and basically couldn't get anything done.
These marketing skills are most important, since this is only coin that lost more than 99% of it's value in last year. Baldrick from "Black Adder" would do better job.  Roll Eyes

New people have joined the team to take these tasks upon them, I imagine they could only do a better job than the old bunch.

they fooled us with btxm and Fiat Gateway and big exchange but all was a lie And it was never supposed to be done. this coin was scam in the first place?

The project is currently managed by ivo. You are welcome to contact him.

You mean Bitcore is managed by ivo? You mean the whole project is (implying you and other are out now)? Or just some aspect? Please give us a less ambiguous answer. Did anyone quit?

Multiple team members have quit. About 3.5 to be exact.

All the devs are still here, the unimportant people left (except steve).

I went to check for Agoras on coinmarketcap, but it's not listed. What happened?

lol it got delisted from all exchanges (bittrex) a while back ago. where were you all this time?

I more or less stopped following a year and a half ago. The last time I checked the price the market cap was over 100 million dollars. Went to check a couple of days ago...

Why did it get delisted?

Ohad has kept this going for 3 years now with 0 results. The coin died and trading volume died along with it.

Reading the project, you need fresh people and a lot of money to succeed. Do you have any chances in succeeding or it is a waste of time?

It's not a waste of time. If it is work everything is going to become great! So, I don't understand why you believe so..

POStoken has a big community, DOU could get a big part of that community.

I think it would be a good idea to post an automated google form here on bitcointalk where people can fill in their signed message.
It should be as easy as possible to join and the info should be more widely spread than in a discord.

Dropping to pos holders will create an instant community, and give value to the coin immediately.
The more people join, the bigger the community, the bigger the success.

While you are panicking over the decline in the price of bitcoin, the largest bitcoin holders will have an even more volume of bitcoins because of the panickers

No panic here either, I try to make quick investments and hold for long periods, I even have periods where I avoid bitcointalk and most news all together.
Holding has been the key for me, so I keep doing that.

Re: Hacker Returns $26 Million in Ether Months After ICO Theft
by
litec0ins
on 27/02/2018, 00:50:38 UTC
A hacker who stole more than 43,000 ether tokens from would-be investors in CoinDash has returned a majority of the funds to the startup.

The company reported that the thief returned 30,000 tokens over two different transactions, the first in September 2017 and the second last Friday, to CoinDash's wallet. At press time, the tokens were worth a little more than $26 million.

The thief still has some 13,400 tokens ($11.6 million) after the second transaction.

The hack was first reported in mid-July 2017, when the hacker managed to compromise CoinDash's fundraising site, swapping its ethereum address with another one. Users believed they were purchasing tokens and supporting the project, but more than 2,000 of them actually funded the hacker, as previously reported by CoinDesk.

At the time, the stolen ether tokens were worth roughly $10.3 million.

Investors who unwittingly donated to the hacker still received CoinDash's CDT token, though anyone who donated after the project's website was shut down did not. At least one user reportedly sent 50 ethers to the compromised address after it was shut down.

Despite the theft of its funds last year, CoinDash intends to launch its first product on Feb. 27, according to its website. This product will be a social trading platform, which CoinDash states will be integrated with several cryptocurrency exchanges, including Poloniex, Bittrex and Binance.

A clever person recently told me that the best projects with the best coins will come in the future.
In this respect, it could be that there will soon be a new coin, which has the Pontenzial to replace the BTC.

I think that's miles away from now.

by

All your posts in last 5 days are about ella and obviously your forum pumping method doesn't work.
It won't spike unless traders read your posts and decide to follow them but chance for that is pretty slim.

That chart doesn't look promising at all, it was in bubble in January and it crashed.

Not paying attention to the chart, there isn't enough volume for it to be meaningful, Look at the bid and ask. will take very little volume for price to explode.

Also me pumping it or not doesn't matter the project is legit. If anything I am raising awareness for people in this community to benefit from. If you choose not to research this coin because you don't like me thats up to you!

For my own reasons I always choose not to research coins which are promoted in this way.

I’m not expert trader here but I like to share my technical analysis on you would love to hear your analysis regarding the new development on Bitcoin.

Based on fib retracement the 0.382 mark was already break if it continue to move upward it will certainly go up to 0.618 mark which have the equivalent of 14K USD. And if the resistance persists it will continue to break the 1 mark equivalent to 19K USD. What I’m seeing here is another breakout is for BTC. Guys like to know your thoughts about this.

We can see that bitcoin prices are recovering strongly in recent days, bitcoin prices have touched $ 10500 and are continuously rising. I think that now we can completely trust and buy bitcoin, bitcoin prices are growing extremely stable, we can buy bitcoin and long-term or bitcoin trade right now.

Break 12, reach 15 I think.

Re: Bitcoin help out of school youth...
by
litec0ins
on 23/02/2018, 16:56:36 UTC
Do you think Bitcoin can help out of school youth to finish their studies or not?
For me in some other way yes it will help . It will help young people to gain insight on how to earn money and how to value the money they earn. But it may also be the reason to them for not continuing their studies because they earn already a lot of money on bitcoin..
Many people who are still studying feels that they dont have enough money to buy everything they need in school. Other cases in tution fee gets higher thats why some of them cant finish there education. But this bitcoin will be a big help for them to support their needs in paying some school activities and some school works .
Not only that.It can really give the chance for it to pay even more on what a student needed into his studies which can potentially make money the least as he expected. It is helpful but the outcome would always depend on how you do make it to be profitable or can generate income just like on having a tradition work in physical world. The harder you work the more profits will surely be next to come.

If it helps it helps, rather a life with just bitcoin and being able to live normally than no study and no bitcoin.

Coin going downward is normal for every coin. What ever goes up come down and this is a feature of every coin or stocks traded. Don't panic and withdraw if such case happen to your portfolio it is a part of fluctuation of every coin.

What is the rules for a high rank account like a Hero or Sr. Member account in bitcointalk, and how many rounds this airdrop will be run? I am glad to closely follow any project that puts its core values first. Nevra with its goals of project equality and freedom through the blockchain and in the end fostering equality through the results.

The rules are equal to everyone.
People below member status have to acquire 1 merit in this thread. Which is easier said than done it seems Wink

Started a simple strawpoll to view your take on increasing Nevra's Supply to 125,000,000 (up from 1,250,000). Stakes weight will remained unchanged, just the total supply. Wanted to do this to update some inconsistent information on the ANN. Vote here: http://www.strawpoll.me/15106155/r

The vote will end in a few days, just taking a quick sample.

What the purpose for increasing Nerve Supply to 125,000,000?
Personally for me it is better have the small number of coins with good price of each.

Thank you

The idea is with a lower price per coin it's easier for people to get in, they don't have to deal with hundreds of dollars per coin and everyone can acquire a decent amount.
In the end it's all the same though, whether you have a high price and small supply or big supply and a lower price.

I'm 100% for increasing the supply. A real currency needs more than just 1,25 million coins.

Am I wrong or still there is not a wallet? Am I missing something? I like the idea in itself, surely it is an airdrop with a completely different structure than those we usually know.
Sorry but I don't know very well the NEM project, is there a dedicated wallet?

NEM has a dedicated wallet in which people can hold tokens that will eventually be exchangeable for real XEV on it's own blockchain.

...that's assuming that the one in ten figure is correct in the first place (which I wouldn't be surprised by because most people are impulsive twats that don't have zero self-control).

The one in ten figure was for middle class people. They found it could be as high as one in three for working class people, but I can't remember who gathered the statistics.

My brother's wife's sitster's boyfriend knows a guy in university who claims to be doing a study indicating that NOBODY can be fathered by other than the real FATHER and that number is actually FIVE TIMES greater in Iceland.

Come on guys at least post some sources for your bullshit.

I did somw googling and other studies dispute this, but ...

In the early 1970s, a schoolteacher in southern England assigned a class science project in which his students were to find out the blood types of their parents. The students were then to use this information to deduce their own blood types (because a gene from each parent determines your blood type, in most instances only a certain number of combinations are possible). Instead, 30 per cent of the students discovered their dads were not their biologically fathers.

"The classroom was, of course, not the ideal place to find out this information," said Prof. Dickens, who is often consulted on ethical issues by geneticists at the Hospital for Sick Children.

Also there's the strange, but true story of twins with different biological fathers.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2016/03/09/twins-with-different-fathers_n_9416074.html

Thanks.  I read the first link and this guys takes the cake.

In March, 1999, the results arrived by mail -- a creased piece of paper telling him that not one of the three boys was his.

"I felt anger toward [my first wife] and sadness, and I felt so sorry for my kids," Mr. Wise recalled. "I told my boys, 'I love you all, you'll always be my sons, the only difference is now I'm not your birth father.' "

Despite this revelation, a district court judge ruled that Mr. Wise had to continue paying child support for the three boys. Based on a 500-year-old common law, most states operate on the presumption that a husband is the father of any child born to his wife during a marriage.

Mr. Wise took his case to the media, hoping to generate political support and contact other men in a similar situation. Instead, he angered the judge, who revoked his visitation rights to the children but left him responsible for $1,100 (U.S.) in monthly support.

"This," Mr. Wise warned, "could happen to anyone."

Over a 13 year marriage they had three boys and one girl...  I think that guy was working way too much overtime.

If that happened to me, I would just quit the whole family. The kids are not at fault but also not mine, the woman is a whore and a liar and deserves nothing, and jail time is better than continuing to pay her. Take out all the money you can from the bank as soon as possible and hide it somewhere, maybe even throw it away, whatever it takes for her and the state to not get it.

All I know for sure is that I would be in a state of shock and disbelief for the rest of my life.

Even if I won't get considered I wish you good luck, aiming for a fair distribution is admirable in itself.

There's just so much FUD being spread around this forum and so few users who actually take the time to educate themselves.  All this does is un-arm yourself to be able to fight back again the worthless FUD.  If you're a bitcoin supporter than do your homework and educate yourself so that you can help stop the many bitcoin misconceptions.

Everyone should be aware that the Lighting Network has been implemented. While the process will take a little time, it's off to a great start (If you're unaware of the L.N. , how it works, or need further clarification please read this short article - https://medium.com/@melik_87377/lightning-network-enables-unicast-transactions-in-bitcoin-lightning-is-bitcoins-tcp-ip-stack-8ec1d42c14f5).

One of the last blocks mined- (Block #509796) -minimum fee paid was 2.77 sat/Byte. This represents a fee of around BTC0.000005 ($0.05) for an average sized transaction.

Fee Chart:
https://i.imgur.com/v3tbCRb.jpg

Once the L.N. is up and running, when all wallets add it to their platform (as well as the likes of SegWit)..things will be that much brighter for an already improved bitcoin platform.

That 's not too bad, I guess bcash doesn't have any ammo no more now.
