Just new to here and i did research about the Merit system which is needed for me to rank up, so can i ask a question ? Like how i can attracting attention of people who can give me sMerits? I'd love to hear the opinions about it and don't tell me about make a good post because i watched many high-quality posts in this forum and they weren't merited at all.
Well, first of all, you'd be wise to more reading before posting on this forum. The more you learn the better your threads will be and the higher your chance of getting merit. A post like yours starting this thread, asking a simple question that's nearly common sense is the exact wrong thing to do.
Ok, now let's get this talk to a more constructive place and give you this one opportunity to learn. I hope you're paying attention.

Listen, majority of the people here don't spend merit on friends. I've given away over 60 sMerits, not one of the recipients is a friend. If you want to earn, get to work and make some quality posts!

By the way this is the point i want to discuss about, at all of these topics , you have to SHOW your history posts not receiving sMerit by making a good post .... So there will be 2 jobs for us : " Making good posts and showing them for people to be merited"..
There is no distinction here between new or old member. They will give you merit if they see that your post is useful for them.
The point here is will they read your comments or not. Specially when your comment is on a mega-spam threads like hundreds of pages. So your comment is likely a fish in an ocean and noone will give a shit about it. Stop telling people to make a high-quality post when the solution is making a HIGH-QUALITY POST in a NON-MEGASPAM-THREAD.I think spending sMerit is very easy but receiving them are the hardest things (even harder and being accepted in a good signature campaign ) in this forum. This function should make it little bit harder not unreachable like current moment.
I do know much people who easily earn 100-200 sMerit in a day like (Lutpin, theymos,.... ) by just simply announcing something like Merit system or a signature campaign (they are campaign managers). But all of them are long-standing members and being famous in this. So nameless members like us won't get sMerit that way for sure.

Earning some sMerit looks extremly hard when some people only want to give sMerit to friends, others don't give a shit about reading others's post to give sMerit . Only a few people(kind people) are ready to give us - the newcomers - some sMerit for ranking up stuffs.
I know you hate those shitposters or spammers but that hatred is now spreading into newcomers too.

It sounds really amazing about this project but if a coin want to ovetake ETH or BTC in price, they have to earn the trust from investors to which is the hardest things to do in crypto currency world. There is a time that i do believe that Ripple could replace BTC in the coinmarket but not anymore for now. Every analysis should have a basis.
Because the government can't have any benefits in cryptocurrency. They can't put laws or they can't even put taxes or any ways to make bitcoin under their control. We know that bitcoin is a decentralized currency which is no one can really control it that's "maybe" why other government want to ban it. Or maybe some illegal activities use bitcoin as a method of payment because it's transactions are anonymous and not tractable.
Actually goverments are trying to tax Bitcoin at this moment, they will let Bitcoin become legal then tracking the buy-sell transaction of Bitcoin through bank's information (Fiat-Bitcoin) for taxing it. Sounds impossible but they always have a way to do it. I don't think there is a winning strategy in gambling but I believe there are strategy that could increase your chances of winning in some gambling games. In the past, people use to count cards in the game of blackjack to increase their chances of winning against the house, but it is not workable anymore due to the reshuffle mechanism implemented by the casino.
Card counting can still be profitable in blackjack but the difference is that now you are going to need team play in order to pull that off, you will need people in the table counting and then when the count is in your favor you give a signal to a player that bets big while the count is in your favor.
