Have there been any new miners forks or updates of existing miner software, since the last one that boosted X11 and X13 by a lot? It's so hard to keep track of anything in crypto nowadays.

Could you tell me which exact inf files should I replace Smiley

if you were able to had your 5+ GPUs running in one rig with win7 64bit then you must have used the modded inf files afaik.
i believe that this was the thread i got the modded *.inf files from: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=11761.0

it says that it ONLY works wit 13.12, but i swear i just installed the 14.6rc2 Drivers, used the modded inf, and all GPUs get detected.

Indeed , I Installed 14.6 RC2 , and one of the cards was with an error on the device manager. After that downloaded the 13.12 drvs from techpowerup , and just ipdated the damaged card with 13.12 ver of the driver and now its fixed , 5x280X GPUs on 4.277 MH /s on X11

wait... so which version of the miner are you using and what modifications in files did you have to do to it to be able to run x11? I finally got my rig to read 6 cards again after fiddling with it all day long trying to upgrade to the new djm34 miner... but it ended in not detecting all my cards.

wasted all day. now I finally detect all cards but hashrate is the same as before

How come profitabiliy is low right now, isn't Nautiluscoin super profitable to mine right now? Shouldn't Clever be jumping on that before the train leaves?

Of course we're mining NAUT. We've been mining it for the last four days and I believe we've been the first coin-switch pool which added it (i.e. Waffle added it only yesterday). But the case with coins adjusting difficulty every block is that they swing from being very profitable to very unprofitable. We mine them when they're profitable, but most of the time they are not profitable because lower difficulty blocks are mined faster than higher difficulty blocks. Not only because of difficulty, but because all coin-switching pools move away from a coin when it becomes unprofitable and network hashpower drops significantly. The result is that block with 300% profitability is mined within 30 seconds, but block with 50% profitability can wait even 30 minutes to be mined. And our hashpower during these 30 minutes goes somewhere else. The result is that there is only very small percentage of time when such coins are really profitable. And of course we use all this time to mine them, but when their profitability goes below other coins, we switch to other coins.

Yesterday NAUT was the most profitable coin during only 14.2% of the day and we put 14.2% of our yesterday's hashpower into it. The result was good and we earned 177% LTC profitability on NAUT. But we had bad luck with LTC mining yesterday and found less blocks than statistically expected, so our profitability from mining LTC was at 70% (this is normal and is because of variance). Breaking down our yesterday's results by LTC vs. all other coins, 47% of time/hashpower spent at mining LTC got us 70% LTC profitability, while 53% of time/hashpower mining other coins got us 119% LTC profitability. All this combined got us 96% profitability. If we had 100% profitability when mining LTC, then combined with other coins our yesterday's result would be at (0.47*100% + 0.53*119%) = 110%.

LTC has so high difficulty that mining it has high variance and you can't do anything about it. Straight LTC pools get anywhere between 50% and 150% LTC profitability in any given day as well. The difference is that even if we have 70% profitability when mining LTC (what any straight LTC pool can also have), our other half of hashing-time has 119% profitability, what results in 96% day instead of  70% day.

Thanks, that was extremely informative! Keep up the good work.

Can someone link me to a guide/tutorial on how to provide my rig? 8MH/s on X11 that I'd like to rent out. Thanks!

Please search around before asking.
http://leaserig.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/folders/1000106844

miaviator, Can you add something that says "Rig ratings are a new feature, so rigs with no rating does not mean it's bad."??

I've read all of those and found the instructions unclear. The LRP method seemed to be easiest, however:

1. Extract all files.
2. Open pools.conf and configure your starting pools.
3. Edit run.bat file - change PUT-YOUR-ID-HERE with ID you get on admin panel.
4. Double click run.bat to run it.

What does "ID you get on admin panel" refer to? What admin panel? Also, do I just start mining like this and my rig is automatically up for rent then or do I need to take any further steps on the website? What determines the price to rent it? What is a "starting pool"? Do I simply decide which pool to point my rig to and then rent out the profits/hashes to those pool by using the proxy? I'm just trying to clear up some questions that in my opinion haven't really been answered clearly (it will surely help attract more customers too). Thanks!

Does Clevermining have plans for adding X11? Wafflepool announced X11 is going to happen and I'll be forced to switch in the near future if Clevermining doesn't plan on doing the same! I'd love to stay here though!

  • PPLNS payout system
  • Payout after 120 Network confirms

Stratum - stratum+tcp://stratum.althash.eu:3034

You are most welcome to try mining Qebecoin with us.
Greetings,
Althash Team

Sorry, but 0.1 transaction fee for auto payout is WAY too high on a coin that gives like 130 26 coins per block. Think of the amount of time it takes to find a block with the small pool hashrate, and then the tiny amount every miner gets. 0.1 is too much.

I think in a few years Blackcoin can be not #2  but #1... Bitcoin is slow, the mining leaves an ecological footprint from hell and the coin is related with tons of negative press. I can't see it being on the throne in a few years. It was a good pioneer but now there are coins which have improved everything that is bad about Bitcoin.
