have you already increased your virtual mem to at least 16GB or more?

For multi-GPU systems, set Virtual Memory size in Windows at least 16 GB:
"Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory".

Yes I did. Also tried 48GB because I read somewhere you should take the same number as all your GPU ram's together (6 x 8GB).

To be honest, to me it still sounds like a PSU issue. Your PSU might not be powerful enough or maybe something is wrong with it.

Okay thanks, guess I'll try to power one GPU with the PSU from my normal PC.

I am fairly new at this and have been reading a lot to get up to speed. I have my first rig set up with two RX580 Red Dragon cards (needless to say I should have bought 3 since my plan was to build a trio).
I have the system running pretty smooth with smOS. I am dual mining Ethereum and Sia. One of the cards is not performing as well as the other. Purchased from the same retailer the same day. Probably doesn't mean anything and could still be different chipsets.

Here is what I am currently getting:
ETH - Total Speed: 56.308 Mh/s, Total Shares: 1141, Rejected: 0, Time: 11:18
ETH: GPU0 26.916 Mh/s, GPU1 29.392 Mh/s
SC - Total Speed: 1126.154 Mh/s, Total Shares: 321, Rejected: 0
SC: GPU0 538.314 Mh/s, GPU1 587.840 Mh/s
GPU0 t=64C fan=60%%, GPU1 t=58C fan=47%%

I have it set to:
Core: 1200
Memory: 2200
Undervolting: 950
Powerstage: 2

I have played around with these settings but can't seem to get it to be higher on GPU0.

Anyone have an Idea or is this the best I am going to get?

Thanks.

Mining dual sia is a waste of energy now. With your setup you get 1 or 2 SC a day (maybe 5 cents). What's your speed with solo ETH mining?

UPDATE

So I tried playing with the following commands:

-ethi
-eres
-gser
-dcri
-lidag

But with 6 cards the rig always crashes within 10 minutes.
The only thing that works is the command -di to disable 1 GPU. Rig is running very stable for days with 30MH/s each with 5 cards enabled.

Anyone with an answer?

Tell me please, if I only have 1 bitcoin, I can only get one Bitcoin Private?

yes,

Or if you sell your BTC for ZCL you get about 110 ZCL and you'll receive 110 BTCP in a month

My rig (6 cards) immediately crashes when I start mining ETH. When I take one random card out it mines stable on 5 cards. It works perfectly on all other coins with 6 cards. I've read in old topics that it could be the PSU but I have a new Corsair 1200W for 6 RX580's so that should be enough. Any way I could test it?

use the command -lidag 2 and see if that fixes it.  There is an inrush of power at the DAG generation phase, and your power supply may be too sensitive to it.  By slowing the DAG generation just a bit your power supply may be able to keep up.  I had this same issue on a couple rigs and this fixed it.

Interesting, I used the "-gser 5" to achieve the same thing, I must have missed this one in the readme file.

Thanks both for replying but unfortunately both commands didn´t solve my problem. Maybe something else I can try?

Crashing rig while mining ETH

Hi,

I´ve been mining ZEC and ZCL successfully for some weeks now with my 6 RX580 rig but it keeps crashing immediately when I open Claymore Dual software for mining ETH. The entire rig shuts off and restarts within a minute. I flashed the cards with original bios but it didn´t help. Also tried different drivers, Blockchain drivers and newest drivers but none change anything. If I unplug one random card it does mine ETH stable on 5 cards. My PSU is a new Corsair 1200W so I think it's powerful enough..

Anyone who has an idea what´s wrong or know some steps I can take now?

I have 6 RX 580's, modded them all seperately one by one to 30.2 Mh/s on ETH only mode. When I plug all 6 cards in and run the ETH only mode I get 5 cards running 20 Mh/s and the last one 30 Mh/s. Anyone knows why? When running other algo's they run all 6 with the same speed

Does the problem persist if you use a different miner, such as Ethminer 0.12.0?

Tried Ethminer but the text appears really slow, can't use it

set the other 5 to compute mode

Thanks alot! They were indeed set back to Graphic (I changed them to compute in the past but didn't think about it now). All cards run at equal speeds now. The bot does crash after some minutes though, guess I have to play with afterburner again.

Just wanted to say I got my coins back! It turned out to be very easy:

- Obtained private key from ZCL wallet
- Downloaded Jaxx: went to - Tools - Transfer ZEC Paper Wallet
- Copied the Private Key from ZCL wallet

Hope this helps other people with the same problem  Wink

Accidentally sended ZEC to my ZCL wallet address

Hi,

So I started mining ZEC a couple days ago and I just found out I pasted the wrong address into the settings. I used my ZCL address instead of my ZEC address. The miner sended some coins already. When I look up my ZCL address in the ZCHAIN I can see 'first seen today' and only the balance of my sended coins. This means the address belongs to no one else yet I guess. Is there a way I can reach my coins? Maybe choose that ZEC address manually in my wallet. It's just 0.06 ZEC but it would be nice if I can reach them.
