I have a day job with decent salary but I have to face this situation ever in my life then I would borrow money from colleagues as they are working with me since long time and have blind faith in me that I will not run away with their money and will pay them back on time.

Re: Is it better to save money or invest it?
by

Its always good to do both and not depend only on single one, start with the saving money and in future you can find the possible investments which are less risky as saving will keep your money safe and if you want to grow your money in long run then you have to take a risk of investing.

Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week?
by
llanillo
on 09/04/2017, 13:58:55 UTC
The secret is to have a lot of money already.  Bitcoin has a lot of profitable investments in it, and it also is a profitable investment.  If you have a lot of money, you can easily get 20% a year or so through popular investments like casino bankrolls.  That'll get you 0.1 BTC per week if you're prepared to basically go all in.

That is a risky move to make to invest huge sum of money only in bitcoins and investing in casino bankrolls is also an risk as you never know how long they will share profits with you and they may shut down their sites in long run so its better to earn them instead of taking risk of investing.

Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved?
by

on 09/04/2017, 13:56:51 UTC
Right now I only have 10% of 1BTC, I haven't saved a lot of BTC since I only started 3 months ago, but I am planning to keep this for like a year or two and will see if the amount of BTC will increase, I also invested in trading so that I can slowly grow my bitcoin.

You have a good plan to grow your bitcoins and also at the same time to earn some profits by holding them for next couple of years as trading will give you short term profits and will also contribute in growing your coins slowly and steadily.

Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins

on 09/04/2017, 13:55:06 UTC
No, i don't dream getting rich with bitcoin because will be difficult for getting much bitcoin
but getting active profit from trading is enough for me
because if i can make profit from trading although a little by little will be much bitcoin
and it will makes me getting rich with bitcoin.

It's good you know how to trade obtaining profits from that. I've tried to trade couple of  times but with no success. So far I have only two options: 1. Participating in Sig Campaigns; 2. Doing various small jobs and asking to pay in Bitcoins.

Since I'm not making a lot my only hope to become rich with Bitcoins is when Bitcoin will rise hundredfold compared to today's price.

I think instead of dreaming about the future we should keep ourselves busy in collecting maximum bitcoins so that if price goes extremely higher in future then it will automatically rich but that will be possible only if we have enough bitcoins in our wallet.

Re: Is Bitcoin money?

Anything that is being used as a medium of exchange is money. Bitcoin, like gold, is money.
Yes bitcoin is a money because it exchanges value but it is not a currency by definition.
So instead of cryptocurruncy we should use cryptomoney for bitcoin.

I think its a currency by definition for me as I can easily convert it to fiat and use it anywhere I want and there are also many sites that are accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment and if bitcoin is giving me hard cash in my hands after exchanging it then it becomes money to me.

Re: Daily use of bitcoin?
by

It's a little more difficult to use Bitcoin in daily transactions now that the fees are about a dollar per transaction. Companies like BitPay are now including the fees in the transactions. Am I really going to spend a dollar on fees just to get a dollar coffee?

Yes, that is the most challenging things to use bitcoins for small amount transactions. But you can consider using XAPO account for free transactions but if you receive very small amount then they do also get some charges. But until now they are not charging for sending money to other people.

Yeah that was also my problem right now.Sometimes transaction fees are bigger than the amount i transact with thats why i cant use my bitcoins daily just like how i spend it before transaction fees went up too high like in this moments.

Paying fees is mandatory and if you want fast transactions then you need to pay higher fees and for the same reason people will not prefer to spend their coins and will prefer to save them for the future so that they can spend them which price is higher.

Re: Why should people use Bitcoin?
by

Using Bitcoin brings about extreme speed in transactions which in never possible before its existence. To put simply, it provides almost perfect convenience to transaction speeds but that in itself comes with a fair measures of security issues which can be solved by being more cautious.

Talking about "extreme" speed, not all the time bitcoin will give you an extreme speed in transactions. Because it's one of the issue right now, many are experiencing problem with this matter. But for me, people should use bitcoin right now because the chance making them rich in the future will be gone if they aren't going to get into it.

Yeah everyone is facing an big issue with the delay in confirmation time and even the transaction fees have become very high and not all will like that but apart from that there are many best features attached with bitcoin and that attracts people to use bitcoins.

The best thing I like about bitcoin is that I am generating some really good extra income from it and also using that income to grow even more by investing in different alt coins which helps me in giving some quick profits and also increases the level of coins in my wallet.

I keep my bitcoin diversified in various Altcoin.I have invested in Ark,Wings and Icn and I hope they would give me good return.

That's the right thing to do diversify your investments to reduce the risk and if you are putting your money at a single place then it will bring huge risk with it and diversification will help you in making profits in multiple ways.

Trading is double sided, instead of being rich on it you may lose because not all altcoins is promising they may not last for a long run and you need a big capital if you want a bigger profits. Well the posted above is right, if you know how to manage your investment then you can be successful.

I do a lot of trading, but sometimes it seems as though it would be just as good to buy and hold. If the price goes up and you sell to buy back later, sometimes the price just keeps going up and you miss out on those gains.
I think that is the best way to play with bitcoins buy them when price is low and sell when it goes higher then your entry price instead of holding them longer as you never know when price can go down and if you don't sell then you have to wait longer to make profits.

Re: Spending Bitcoins
by

on 03/04/2017, 01:56:18 UTC
I used to beat the bitcoins for the future and did not spend it. But then something happened in my mind and I almost all bitcoins invested in different projects. Just for this it was necessary to mature morally

It's not bad if you aren't going to spend any of your bitcoin and just keep on holding it for your future. You mean to say that you almost spend all your bitcoins with different projects? It's good that you did diversify your bitcoins and you are doing something for your growth which is helping the economy of bitcoin.
Spending bitcoin is really good if you are spending it on investment like ICO projects of an altcoin or what so ever.
Spending bitcoin is really helping the circulation of the supply since it is been spent and put in the market.

I don't actually get into ICO's nowadays because most of them are just the same. They are just crowd selling and collecting money from their investors and in the end they will result into the same output which is being dumped but as you said it's good for the circulation of bitcoin. It's better to spend your bitcoins for the things you really like.

Yeah spending bitcoins online is a fun and if I am in need of fiat money then I sell my bitcoins and convert it to fiat but I also make sure that I save some of them for future so that I can sell them when price is even higher which can give me higher amount of fiat in hands.
Just do as i do, spend some of your bitcoins on bills and things you need when the price is high and then buy them back when the market takes a dip. Doesn't always work out like that but you do get good at picking the dips.
That is good that you spend some of your bitcoin it will helps to increase of value. Me also i spend my bitcoin in online shop but not regular i spend once a month and if i have extra money i always deposit to my bitcoin wallet because i know that bitcoin would gives me profit of my investment. And now i choose bitcoin than bank.

Bitcoin has become an investment for us so most of the users will prefer to save them for future without spending them as they want to take maximum benefits from it in future but to help the bitcoin economy we should also spend some of them regularly.

A few weeks ago, when the price fell dramatically - it was just the perfect time to invest in bitcoin. But despite the fact that the price goes up there is a great chance that in the distant future the price of bitcoin will be even higher

When price went below 1000 level in the past few weeks that was the perfect time to buy bitcoins as price has crossed 1100 level again but I think we can still buy at the current price as price is expected to get much higher in next couple of months so its an good investment to make at a moment.

I have read several times here that claiming bitcoin is dead. As what you can observe, bitcoin is continuosly growing each day. It become adopts by many usually because of its fluctuating price. The demand is high, the massive adoption has been increased indeed. So, I can say bitcoin is really alive to its finest.

Yeah the price is in 4 digits so it can never be considered as dead and people who are spreading rumors about bitcoins are either haters of bitcoin or want to create a panic in the economy so that people start dumping their coins at lower price but it won't happen now.

Re: Earning "free" bitcoins
by
llanillo
on 03/04/2017, 01:46:30 UTC
Earning bitcoins for free is not easy, it takes of hard work, patience and determination to earn. Its hard to collect in faucets daily it takes times but if you want to earn freely, joined sig campaign and you can earn bitcoin.

Even earning from signature campaign is not free as you have to post on daily basis and if you don't meet minimum requirements then you will not get paid so it cannot be treated as a free way of earning bitcoins so the only way to get free bitcoins is from faucets.
You can do it freely though, in the sense that you don't have to pay fiat money or have particularly special skills to do it.

Earning from signature campaign doesn't involve any special skills but its not easy though as you have to follow the rules and regulations of campaign and you should also make a constructive and quality posts and if you fail then you will be kicked out of campaign.
I don't think that the free ways of earning Bitcoin online is for earning but the purpose of giving away free bitcoins such a faucets is to introduce new people from Bitcoin on how they can get little amounts of Bitcoin to fund their wallet, also the one who will mostly benefit the free claims is the site owner because the traffic he will receive can be converted to a high pay in the advertising network he choose from. He is just giving a little portion of what he is earning from them.

People who are unaware about the other ways of earning bitcoins will only prefer to spend their time on faucets sites and those with skills and familiar with signature campaign will never show their interest in wasting their time on faucet sites.

Start to collect an alt coin and then trade it on an exchange. This is the best thing to do when the price of btc is heaving like it has for the past 48 hours. That is what real bitcoiner do when the times are looking bleak. Trade more like squirrels readying themselves for a price dump winter fallout. Grin

Yes, this is a good advice and idea to pursue. Right now, I have already decided to also explore cryptocurrency trading with emphasis on small alternative coins as they have the potential to really make a killing but we have to pick up a winning coin and not a losing one. I heard that traders are really making good money here and I hope we can be a part of it...want to have a little slice of the pie for each of us here.

Trading altcoin is a good way to make good profits in short term but the only issue I face is how can we know that this coin will pump in next few days as its really hard to predict what price it will be holding in next couple of hours and that makes bit worried to invest in altcoins.

Re: Buying Bitcoin

Localbitcoins is the best for me to buy bitcoins but it will also depend on which country you live and which site is good and friendly for you but if you have an option to buy it from localbitcoins then you can trust that site blindly and I am sure you will never get scammed.
Hackers were found everywhere. But as the above mate said localbitcoins is a secure place for making our trades. It gives the convenience of purchase depending upon our necessity and the transaction possibility. Also it helps with listing of traders quoting different price margin. Can buy the one we can afford.

Actually why localbitcoins is safer because they use escrow services and when you sell bitcoins you can release your bitcoins only when you get confirmation that money has been transferred to your bank account and if not you can start a dispute there and in that case no trader will wish to put his reputation at stake as its a full time business for him.

Re: Why you should consider investing in bitcoin
by

on 27/03/2017, 02:19:45 UTC
It is a good idea to invest in bitcoin, the increasing price is better than other commodity and in the future it can become more valuable, and in the future I predicted there will not only 1 crypto that is valuable but some of the alt coin also become very valuable, so there is still so many potential to gain profit with crypto currencies, you just need to be smart in investing
yes that is really a good idea and specially in present time when the price of bitcoin is trading below 1000 USD, as still there are more chances that the price of bitcoin will start increasing very soon and hope that very soon it will recover its previous position.

This is a good price to buy bitcoins but the only risk is we don't that whether price will go even lower tomorrow or not and if it goes then buying at current price would be a bad decision to make but if you believe that bitcoin can regain its position in coming weeks then you can afford to buy even at current price.

Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?
by
llanillo
on 27/03/2017, 02:18:05 UTC
almost like gold holding bitcoin is a profitable investment because the predicted value will further increase annually just don't panic when its value fell even at the moment used to rebuy bitcoin because most likely the higher value will
but to achieve it we need great patience. sometimes bitcoin prices declined unexpectedly. like the last few days many people who do panic sell. whereas we just have to be patient, bitcoin prices increased again by itself.
If anyone wants to achieve something, he/she needs patience. So that's why holding of bitcoins are good way to make money. It has it's side affect, that patience because bitcoin's price is very changeable and with regular trading it's not difficuly yo achieve even more profit than from holding them.

Yes patience is the key if you are looking to make some good profits from bitcoin and you should not get panic even if the price starts falling as if you get panic and sell your coins at that point then it will give you only loss but if you manage to hold it in that scenario then you can make good profits in future when price will go higher once again.
