So i still have this question, will the coins still stake whilst my computer is turned off/sleeping ?

so far my coins have over 3000 confirms but still didn't make anything..

I haven't reserved any coins and after 24 hours they're still not staking, do i have to leave my computer on?
I thought as long as they're in the wallet that was all that was needed

I have 1.75 xbc that wont stake 

getting 212kh/s with my sapphire hd7870 tahiti

card is underclocked to gpu @885 mem unchanged v 1.000 and powertune to -13

use to get 430 with litecoin or dogecoin

ok after a bit of researching and testing the best settings i've found for performance/noise/power economy

core clock = 890

vcore = 0.943

memory = 1500 stock

power limit or power control = -15%

fan = 50%

my system seems to consume 80 watts less than stock 180w vs 260w with power limit @ -15% that makes 430kh/s for a 100 watts  

will post about average temperature later but it seems to be around 50c

I thought of sharing my hd7870 (tahiti LE = reduced hd7900 series chip ) configuration

This is with guiminer so

thread concurrency = 12404

gpu threads = 1

worksize = 256

intensity = 19

This is basically the hd7850 high preset in guiminer but with -i 19 and you need core clock @ 925 no more or less and mem clock @ 1500 vcore = stock

I'm pretty sure we can get more from this chip with oc I'll try later anways, 428~430kh/s is good for me. I'd recommend manually setting the fan to 60% if

you don't want the chip to get too hot as it doesn't go over 50% on auto and it lets it get into the 70c's

NOTE you wont be able to use your computer with these settings, use the hd7870 low preset = 335kh/s stable with core clock @ 975 during the day time
